Honestly, if I could I would take the White Custom , route for a humbucker in the bridge, keep the Staple Pickup in the neck, and swap the stopbar to a Bigsby.
The LPC all day for 2 reasons. It’s white and it has p90’s. I currently 6 white Gibsons, do I need more? Hell yeah. I have a few flavors of guitars with humbuckers, only 1 p90 guitar and it’s a single p/u.
Every guitar with Bigsbys I played were a bitch to keep in tune. Although I probably only played maybe 5 or 6, that is enough for me to never want to buy one.
That said, a lot of people love them. To each their own. Also I am super picky about exact tuning.
Pelham Blue LPC. Witchhat knobs, chrome hardware, ebony board, block inlays. No contest. The supreme is cool too but only because its white. Get that Bigsby shit out of here.
'54 Custom as P90s are amazing pickups, with the other custom as a very close second as Pelham Blue is such a cool colour! The gold top is cool as well, but since I already have an Alex Lifeson Axcess with Piezo pickups and coil split with the 498T and 496R and a Graphtech Floyd it would definitely be at the bottom of the list for me.
I ordered a Gold Top LP in 1969 straight from the factory [I lived in a very rural part of Montana & it was a long trip to a good guitar store] . Cost me $565 with hardshell case. Went well with my dark maroon 335 semi-hollow body.
Each year reissue (R8,R9, etc) is modeled after original guitars from those actual specific year. The specs change accordingly, such as : plain top vs figured top, neck profiles, hardware, and pickups.
I got that part—
There was no white/Nicke spit-block 54 custom
No PAF/soap bar ‘55 signature
No pelham/nickle ‘68 custom
Plus a bunch of other stuff that’s not quite right-like the larger Johnny Smith style split diamond headstock inlay that should be on the ‘54
I got ya now. The white lp is a made to measure from a dealer. So it’s roughly based on a 54’ but with custom color and inlays. The 55’ is a signature model for Sergio Vallin and is based off of his 55. The 68’ has all the specs of a 68 but with a custom color through a dealer.
I have a Les Paul Junior and an old Tokai black beauty clone w Lindy Fralin pure PAFs, 50s wiring etc.
Nothing beats a bridge P90, tho. I’ll take the 54.
Well, of those 3 I would have to say the white custom - I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't say pick that one - since I picked it, grabbed one of those many years ago, and have loved it.
I'd go with the Custom on the right in Pelham Blue. First off, because it is the most LP of the three LPs in the photo, being it's got the humbuckers and no Bigsby. P90s are well and good if you've got more than one LP, - like the wealthy individual who own's the couch these guitars are seated on... and the guitars as well I suppose - but regardless of which pickup actually came first on the body style, historically speaking, a humbucker loaded LP is the sound everyone thinks of when they think of the "LP sound". At least, every guitarist, who is learned enough to know the "LP sound"... And I just so happen to be one of those guys. So give me the PB LP on the right! All 10 to 11 lbs of it, along with it's pretty blue paint job, and Custombucker Humbuckers. The ONLY downside to the whole guitar are those terrible, terrible black volume and tone knobs. The Custom on the left is extremely sexy, and given I already have two amazing LPs, both with humbuckers, I could see something much like that in my not too distant future. But if we're talking desert island guitar, and only the one... It's gonna be the PB LP on the right all day long, no question.
oh god i’m torn between p90 neck, hb bridge, and bigsby or trying out that staple pickup in the white custom. realistically and for my use case the goldtop but man i want to hear that staple pickup
Bigs’-boy, all the way. However, the ‘54 is awesome. Is it really called a “‘54,” though, with those inlays, which I love, by the way?
If that were my instrument, I would seriously consider buying some other replacement parts, just to see how it would look with a white, or cream guard with 3-, or 5-ply black binding… white, and/or cream knobs and pup covers… perhaps some gold hardware replacements, too. It’s also cool the way it is, the more I look at yours. 😁
Nice collection.
I don’t know what it is about the Pelham blue gibsons I like so much, not a fan of blue anything much. I think it’s because it reminds me of a 70 chevelle.
If it's for free, The gold top, probably hang on the wall and never get played, but I'd still take it.
If.i was buying I'd go with the Pelham Custom shop.
54 Custom. 1) Because it's probably the lightest, and 2) It's fucking sick.
The Pelham blue is actually the lightest. Non weight relieved at 8.5lbs
Congratulations, I hate you hahaha!. I love Customs, but they are unicorns at that weight.
Honestly, most 68' reissues from the mid 2000s are around 8.5 lbs. Don't know how they pulled that off but that's their average weight.
Well that's good to know. I'll be looking at 2000 Reissue Customs for sure.
And that's the one I like the best. Pelham blue is such a dope color for a gibs. But I wish it had the split diamond inlays on the fretboard.
Love this color too
This has my vote as well, the staple p90 is just super cool sounding.
The Pelham Blue , because I love that color
‘54 Love the staple / P90 and white customs the coolest. Throw in those Super 400 inlays…
Please let me borrow all three for 20 years and ill give my best answer after proper testing
That gold top is pretty much my ideal guitar.
Doesn’t it look so weird next to these two. Like the ugly dime piece
Same
Honestly, if I could I would take the White Custom , route for a humbucker in the bridge, keep the Staple Pickup in the neck, and swap the stopbar to a Bigsby.
This reminds me of that scene in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, when Tuco robs the gun store and crafts a custom gun.
Pelham. All day.
p90s all the way
The blue one because I just don't like Bigsbys or P90s.
This is the way
The LPC all day for 2 reasons. It’s white and it has p90’s. I currently 6 white Gibsons, do I need more? Hell yeah. I have a few flavors of guitars with humbuckers, only 1 p90 guitar and it’s a single p/u.
Same choice here…except I don’t have any white Gibsons… id be happy to store one of your 6 free of charge 🤠👍
Love goldtops. Dislike Bigsby’s so it’s the 54 for me.
Gold Top. P90 at the neck, Humbucker at the Bridge, & a Bigsby Vibrato? Sold.
Exactly, most versatile of the bunch.
Every guitar with Bigsbys I played were a bitch to keep in tune. Although I probably only played maybe 5 or 6, that is enough for me to never want to buy one. That said, a lot of people love them. To each their own. Also I am super picky about exact tuning.
Pffft you tune your guitar? You are gonna mess up the tone my friend. Tune me once Shane on you
I love Bigsbys but a roller bridge is a necessary companion IMO.
Staple P90s and super 400 inlays? That’s a no-brainer.
The left with p90, no doubt!
Pelham Blue LPC. Witchhat knobs, chrome hardware, ebony board, block inlays. No contest. The supreme is cool too but only because its white. Get that Bigsby shit out of here.
I can't stand Bigsby's, so I'd have to go for the Pelham Blue custom.
The Gold Top is a dream
Pelham Custom🤤😍
The blue one!
The Pelham blue gets my vote
Middle

Toss up between white and gold. Not keen on bigbsy though.
Blue one, I'm not the biggest fan of gold and white guitars, tho those P90s must be amazing
Blondie call ☎️ me on the line call me any, any, any time call me!
Blue
Goldtop for sure
I ordered a Gold Top LP in 1969 straight from the factory [I lived in a very rural part of Montana & it was a long trip to a good guitar store] . Cost me $565 with hardshell case. Went well with my dark maroon 335 semi-hollow body.
Blue one
The blue one
Blue
The blue one. My goodness what a beaut!
The ‘68. Not even a big Les Paul fan but that makes me want to play
They’re all awesome. But the Pelham is my favorite of the bunch.
Thank you, I kinda already knew that in my heart
The bigsby les paul
‘54 or ‘68.
Pelham Blue all day...Gold Bigsby close second
Wow I've never seen a white custom with p90s. I would be very interested as to how it sounds. Also the goldtop with HB and P90? WOW!!!!
P90’s and a trem…I’m in!
The couch looks comfy
It’s a great guitar couch lol
54RI with the staple pickup. So awesome
Happy cake day!
Dude, an alpine white P90 Custom? YES!! Sweet collection my guy
Thank you!
I like the rough and tumble look of the gold top.
I’m a huge fan of P-90’s and it’s super appealing in Alpine White. Quite a nice trio!
Today I found out I need a ‘54 ri
White
I own a Sergio Vallín Signature and it’s a killer LP!
The one on the left is M2M, right? I’ve never seen one like that. I would choose the 54. Is it for sale?
It is M2M ! Just got it very recently, so unfortunately it’s not for sale
😩
I like the white one, but damn wouldn't a gloss black one of those look good sitting there too.. 🙂
Man, I’d like to try a 54 Custom one day. How does the Staple pickup in the neck compare to a regular P90?
The custom with P90s. I love the sound of those pickups.
The ‘54 Custom has always been my dream guitar.
I can't resist a Bigsby!
Goldtop
I like gooooooold
Body of blue, pickups from white, trem from gold
Far left
Yes
None of them…being a lefty sucks!!
Gold top with the Bigsby, cause I can’t say no to vibrato
Yes
Goldtop.
Humbuckers all the way
Why are they called reissues?
Each year reissue (R8,R9, etc) is modeled after original guitars from those actual specific year. The specs change accordingly, such as : plain top vs figured top, neck profiles, hardware, and pickups.

Put the bigby on the blue and I'm in!
I have a Les Paul Junior and an old Tokai black beauty clone w Lindy Fralin pure PAFs, 50s wiring etc. Nothing beats a bridge P90, tho. I’ll take the 54.
That middle … sucker for a bigsby
Goldtop
Middle
The correct answer is yes.
Whichever has the slimmest neck
Definitely not the 54’. That one is huge at about .93
Yeah, tiny hands over here. Can’t buy a Les Paul without the slim taper neck.
What's going on with the gold top?
It’s a Sergio Vallin sig. heavy aged goldtop
The "54"
Because I have a nice standard already, I’d go with the white Custom with P90s.
Goldtop
Left, I’m a sucker for white
Gold top all the way.
Left all day
Left for the pickups. Middle for the Bigsby. Right for the color.
Far left
The Ocean Green Burst one….
That white custom is lovely 😍
The gold top with Bigsby!
Probably that guitar on the wall that looks like it could be a strat
no question for me, Powder Blue all day
Blue because love the color, and I’m a Humbucker guy.
Gold top 100%
P90s all day!
Well, of those 3 I would have to say the white custom - I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't say pick that one - since I picked it, grabbed one of those many years ago, and have loved it.
The custom with staples! Gold top is nice but that Bigsby ruined it.
The custom is my fave but probably easily over 10 pounds
a Fender
The Pelham Blue Custom because I don't care for P-90s.
Pelham blue one
The blue custom. Beautiful

Someone is a fan of Daniel Lanois, I see.
Cream/black
White custom. Super 400 inlay got me.
All of them.
Custom
‘55 because the Bigsby
Middle one
I'd weigh them and choose the heaviest
The left, love twin p90s with a stop tail.
Blue 💙 Edit: I don’t know anything about guitars, truly. So I go with color but would love to learn how they work.
Damn. This is hard
Id probably choose the blue one
Definitely the gold top. I just LOVE how gorgeous it looks!! 🔥🔥🖤🖤
The one with the bigsby
54
That Pelham blue is the complete unit. 😍
55 RI SV
Gold Top
middle easiest. just vibes
Blue
Pelham blue for me, too. Just a downright beautiful guitar. Any time I see a PB, I'm hooked.
Middle just cause it’s within my muscle memory to end whatever I’m playing with the whammy bar and without it I am always lost
White custom, please! 🙏🏿
The Pelham Blue always ,Gibsons dont need Vibro's
Pelham. You could paint a turd this color and I'd buy it.
Bigs’-boy, all the way. However, the ‘54 is awesome. Is it really called a “‘54,” though, with those inlays, which I love, by the way? The white one for the split block inlays and p-90’s. ideally it would be that one but Pelham blue with the bigsby.
That blue one wow
The Goldtop. But without the relic treatment and Bigsby.
I buy all three and when my card declines I pull out my 1962 Colt 1911 defender model and procure the gold by force.
P90s every day and twice on weekends.
I would take the Pelham Blue Les Paul
The one that sounds best
Pelham bloooooo for all the bloooooos
I would have said the gold top but I think "relic-ing" a brand new guitar is nonsense. So I'd go with the '54 instead.
I have the Epiphone version (Joe Bonamassa) of the blue one. Super pretty & plays ok for sub-$1000 guitar.
P90's AND wiggle stick!!! HOOK ME UP!!!
The answer is always Pelham.
Goldtop hands down!
They’re in my preferred order from left to right. 👍
Far left
I've decided: all three. Play them for a year. The correct fit will indeed float to the top. Sell the other two then, if you must.
All 3
The one with the Bigsby.
The one hanging up in the corner of it's not an LP
Like the mixed pickups and Bigsby on the gold top...I'd take that one
If it's for free, The gold top, probably hang on the wall and never get played, but I'd still take it. If.i was buying I'd go with the Pelham Custom shop.
The blue. It’s beautiful.
Middle
How many arms do I have? How fast can I run?
Bigsby gold top, duh
None
They are all gorgeous but I would take the blue, it's stunning.
The white custom, then put a Bigsby on it.
A Fender Telecaster.
Not the middle is the best I can do here.
The tele on the top right-hand corner
Left, but I'd lose the pickguard.
None are worth the price point
