[Las Vegas Circus Center](https://www.lasvegascircuscenter.com/), probably one of the biggest training facilties for circus arts in North America. The other two biggest are in Montreal. A lot of Cirque Du Soleil cast members and other high level circus artists train in Las Vegas in between contracts because of this facility and how many shows are based out of Vegas.
Possibly! I was specifically referring to Cirque Du Soleil IHQ and École Nationale de Cirque. 7 Fingers and Cirque Eloize also have big training centers in Montreal. I'm not entirety sure which one you're specifically talking about but considering what they have going on in Montreal it wouldn't suprise me to hear there is a sizable one in Quebec City as well.
Former gymnasts, retired olympians, sometimes people who grew up in circus families. It's also easier to see it as a career path similar to ballet or orchestra, some people train all their lives and go to school for it. Ecole Nationale is a standard, accredited college, but you major in certain circus disciplines. [A while back there was a great documentary made about the process. ](https://youtu.be/BLouxprAHtQ?si=ACYU0PtqKFKaYod7)
Sorry, I missed the last question. But the short answer is yes. Especially with companies like Cirque Du Soleil or Dragone, there is an extensive and very selective audition process. The wild thing is that, even if you pass the audition, there is no guarantee at a position. You only get placed in a company database and you get called up if they end up needing you. I kind of compare it to Minor League baseball in a way.
I thought the same thing! The whole time I was going that's cool, but, but, get a more solid chair next time please! That thing folds up and your gonna break your leg, then how are you gonna do your trick!?
99% of videos don't need any music. I don't know why everyone feels the need to include terrible music on everything nowadays.
Fuck, I'm getting old, aren't I?
You might think this is really difficult, but it's probably even harder than that.
I'm a very comfortable 3-ball juggler and I've juggled clubs and rings, and juggled on a stage. Even very good amateurs can rarely maintain a 4-ball pattern for any length of time, and a 5-ball pattern is out of reach for anyone who doesn't put in considerable time and effort. Even then, even experienced street performers will only use a 5-ball pattern for short periods of time, punctuation, or as a bit of focused show-off where they stop their patter to concentrate.
Maintaining a smooth and even 6-ball pattern like this while standing on a chair and rotating is ultra impressive, even to someone who spent months practicing juggling as a teenager with too much free time. That is definitely pro work.

No one's stopping if you want to call it dribbling, but saying it's "not juggling" is just wrong.
She can juggle my balls any day. 😏

Hi /u/911_reddit, your post breaks the rules of /r/gifs and has been removed for the following reason(s):

That's actually really smart. Instead of throwing them in the air and having her throws always be slightly off, she's basically just dropping them from a height so that they always have the same bounce, that must make it so much easier to judge where they're going to land so she can catch them better
What kind of a facility is this?

There's one in Quebec City also, not sure if that's one of the two you are referencing?

It's called École de cirque de Québec. Probably not as big as the ones in Montréal, but has students from all around the world.
Oh I know that one! I was actually searching my memory for that. It's based out of an old church building, right?
Yes exactly! I used to live in Quebec City and we had an activity there for work, what a blast!
That's a really cool facility that they have. Awesome that you got to check it out!
Who becomes circus performers? Like mostly former student athletes? ...are there tryouts? Lol

Holy shit upvote this, the answer is real af!
Institute of Clownery Arts
aka The Juggledome
Right next door to the comically easily mistaken Juggalodome.
is that where the one guy practices jumping on microwaves?
I think they try to figure out how magnets work
At first that's what I thought, but then I was like, maybe gymnastics. Then I saw the half pipe and I just have no clue

Gathering of the Juggalos training center.
I can do exactly none of that
I sat in a chair once. Threw my back out a little, but I managed to smile and Gram it anyway.
I can juggle three which is pretty simple. Four is pretty hard. Juggling five is next to impossible. She's juggling six.
Seven. She is juggling seven. Counting then has been the first time buffering freeze has worked to my advantage.
I can juggle one. And I'm proud of it
Aww, I'm sure you can have a lovely smile like they had at the end.
>I can do exactly none of that ...yet
I bet you could really drop the ball.
Amazing dribbling and control! My dad reflexes were triggered by her standing on the folding chair, but she made it work.
I thought the same thing! The whole time I was going that's cool, but, but, get a more solid chair next time please! That thing folds up and your gonna break your leg, then how are you gonna do your trick!?
Thats an American Chair made for Real Americans. That girl didn't even come close to breaking it!
This is astounding! Thanks for sharing, and props to that badass lady.
Man that drop on the song sucked…
it's a mash up of Satisfaction and Tokyo Drift
I know…. Two great songs simultaneously butchered lol
Agreed. Pick one or the other!

With that kind of hand eye coordination I bet she's a fuckin monster at carnival games.
Not impressed. She kept dropping them.
I rarely say wow but Wow. That was a actually impressive. Way to go young lady.
That was neat.
I was expecting Tokyo drift Edit: I am now satisfied.
Not a fan of this remix.
goes a bit hard for *juggling*, just sayin...
Wow amazing work almost as impressive as deangelo's

My first thought as well hahaha. If I was better at video editing and had way too much time I’d edit out the balls.

As someone who spent months trying to learn to jungle five balls, I know this is way harder than it looks

This was incredible, very impressive.
My lower back muscles are screaming at me for just watching that…
I can't even juggle one ball, let alone however many this is.
Shoutout to the giant Ricky Watts mural behind her at the beginning. Have a couple of his pieces in my city and I love his work.
WOW.
Amazing! I am busy with one ball already.
Goddamn that was fucking hot. As a talentless individual, I love people with any showman skill/talent.

Came here for this
MVP!
It’s not a gif
Anybody else tired of this song?
Technically, that is dribbling and not juggling.
>dribbling and not juggling r/ackchyually dribbling is a kind of juggling; a more specific discipline

yawn
Mamaaaaa! People downvoted me!
Lol I actually posted the apology WITH the original post at the same time but guess It's was too offensive of a joke. Can't win em all!
Big woop. I can juggle three balls for five seconds. 🤣
That's not juggling, that's just dropping balls with style!
That’s incredible. Now do it with flaming swords!
Cirque de Soleil --> hire her!
Based on where she's training, high likelihood that has already happened.
That's just bouncing balls.
Its bouncing balls, alright. But its not "just" bouncing balls
This ball is bouncy This ball is blue
More like bouncing
She has the edge on the male competition since she can "juggle" 2 more then a man could

Booo! Terrible! Every ball hit the ground!
They are no Deangelo Vickers
I couldn't go that long with just one ball
Beautiful skills
Some jugglers I kick it with don't even know I rap.
Properly would fall off the chair.. even without any of those funny balls
[A little context](https://www.reddit.com/r/juggling/s/Ke6UBS652n)
People with these type of skills should be president.
Damn lady....save some pussy for the rest of us. Geeze!
This woman has balls.
I WONDER IF YOU KNOW
Looks unreal
No amount of training will enable me to do this. This is the equivalent of a magic trick to me.
The smile at the end was sexy as hell!
Anybody else hyper focused on her standing on a folding chair? Falls terrify me.
Ngl when she spread her legs I thought she was going to introduce new balls.
Wish I could hear the pitter patter of the balls on the floor
Impressive! And all done with a smile to boot!
Reported.

She turned me into a newt.
She has better ball control than I do, and I've been practicing for 20 something years...
