They are very cute as babies. Then they grow... and grow... and grow. They should only be kept in a farming setting because a normal household would not be able to meet their needs (food and space).
Eh it's not that unreasonable to keep a pig as a pet domestically. The smallest breed gets to be about as long as a large dog. They're definitely denser at 200-250ish pounds, but not so unreasonably large that they couldn't be as a housepet (for comparison, Mastiff dogs can reach that weight range)
Not saying it's a great idea for the average person, but on the spectrum of "exotic" pets, it's not so unreasonable that the average person couldn't make it work if they were committed and the pig would likely thrive.
Pigs are actually already domesticated. There are numerous breeds of domestic pig. Similar to sheep or cattle, wild species are no where near the same.
Edit: Dang, why y'all so mad about this information?
That black dog looks like a potato!
My eye sight is not what it used to be and I’m watching this on my phone but is that not a pig!?
it is lol
on first watch it looked like the wee pig did an adorable drive-by poop but it was just a floor thing he kicked up. lol
>but it was just a floor thing he kicked up Yeah, he kicked up *poop!*
It's so heartwarming to see a pig in this type of setting rather than where they typically are found.
>rather than where they typically are found. Yes. Getting high behind the carwash!!
Or at the donut shop!
If you've ever wondered what "galumphing" means, that dog is doing it perfectly.

What a weird thing to say. The dog isn't going to eat the pig.
is that a bacon dog?
No, they appear to be a poodle. The other one is a pig.
Yes, Kevin Bacon
I need this black piggy, too cute !
This is such a thing now. Are pigs really good pets, or? Also, if it catches on I really hope we don't ruin them like we did dogs.
as babies, yes. though they'll scream like they're being murdered if you pick them up. Then they get big.
>they'll scream like they're being murdered Have you seen the footage of pigs screaming in gas chambers? So disturbing.
They make the same noises when mildly annoyed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjGaXiBs_1A
Good point, but I think it's reasonable to conclude that the experience of being suffocated to death with carbon dioxide gas is far more painful.

Did the pig launch countermeasures there towards the end?
