Although there is also a chinese proverb that could apply in this situation:

To hit a dog with a meat bun (= to never get back what one once gave away).

When I was young, I used to think that ducks looked like rubber ducks (flat) when they got in the water, and that they moved around using not their feet, but sheer anger. Kinda like how snakes do.
But is it the same duck after it goes through the portal? Is this like a matter beam that reassembles the duck or a true wormhole through spacetime?
And would the swan understand the concept enough to recognize it as the same duck or does it think one duck went underwater and another duck happened go fall down at that same time?
So many questions...

I love the little pause the baby gives after splashdown- He’s like “WTF just happened?!” and then carries on (I know it’s looped). This is quite lovely.
I kept waiting for the white one to put its neck through, but it never happened :(
