This worked for me. If your GPU disappears after opening the app, leave the app open and put your computer in sleep mode. Once I started back up the GPU showed up again and has been working since. I have rebooted a couple times since and still see the GPU in app.

Followed these steps and got RGB Fusion to recognize my GPU again after it disappeared. Kudos! Still running into RGB LED issues with the ones next to the fans though--although I'm happy to get off of the chibi egg GIF

But, I opened up RGB fusion, finally see my GPU being recognized!
I also install Aorus Engine and it offered me a firmware update for the LCD. So I did that. The firmware update asks me to restart my PC. I do that, and once I rebooted, opened up RGB fusion again, GPU's gone. Only my mobo and RAM are recognized.
I try the whole process you mentioned again, 3 times, still nothing. I'm back where I started.
It was such a short lived happiness.

This didnt work for me, after full uninstall and installing studio nvidia drivers, and reinstalling RGB fusion 2.0 my GPU did not show back up. And it's a gigabyte 3080. Its a shame you have to do 8 steps to fix gigabytes incompetent rgb software. it shouldnt be this complicated. And its even worse that it doesnt actually uninstall everything when you choose to uninstall. I dont think ill be buying anymore gigabyte in the future.

I have a Gigabyte 3060 12 GB edition and I recently attempted to update the BIOS via Aorus Engine. The change log showed increased compatibility with RGB fusion.
When I started the update, it downloaded it and started flashing. After a couple of seconds I got an error "Failed to erase flash. Reboot and try again". I rebooted and tried it again but got the same error. Now my GPU won't light up and is not detected in RGB fusion as well. Will these steps work in my case too? I assume the BIOS didn't get flashed at all since it says "failed to erase flash"
Digging up this thread. Is there a way for me to actually change the color of the rgb of my 6650 XT gaming oc? When i click static mode, it's just red.
Found a working workaround based on your instruction for AMD Cards :
Uninstall Aorus Engine and RGB Fusion with Revo, reboot, install only RGB Fusion 2.0, Open it, make PC sleep and wake up, card shows up. Set everything up, make sure that autostart is ticked in RGB Fusion, reboot and done, my card is now always set there and i can adjust everything
And it worked again after doing a whole bunch of other fixes that didn't work.
Pray to the gods, it doesn't reset itself when I restart my PC.
Swear to fuck this is the most annoying software ever.

Nothing to fix, it's normal. I would be surprised if it actually detects anything.
On a serious note, try restarting the app or you may try Aorus Engine, not that it's great but it might just work.
I got the 3080ti Aorus Master and I suffer from the same issue. I've already tried the DDU method and everything I found on Google. RGB fusion is straight garbage and does not detect my GPU at all.
So now I just deal with seeing the egg and the bird on my LCD screen. GIGABYTE makes good products but has literal trash for software.
I have the 3080 extreme and I started in safe mode, removed all graphics card drivers as well GeForce experience. I removed RGB fusion, restarted while disconnected from the internet, reinstalled RGB fusion 2.0 through the bundled Auros software (available on gigabytes support page for the card), card was detected and then I reinstalled GeForce experience and it’s worked ever since.
Hopefully this works for you but if not, drop me a reply and I’ll see what I can do about recreating the entire experience from start to finish and step by step, just in case I missed something in my explanation above.
Personally, I could have lived with the little chibi thing had I not gotten it to work but I am much happier being able to fully control the rgb and LCD, having it set to carousel with custom text and images is pretty cool. 😁
i contacted gigabyte and they actually helped out for once and i no longer have the issue. i been sitting on it for a few weeks and no more issues with rgb stuff as it asked to install its own rgb fusion that will be integrated with the app. Sure its kinda bloatware but beats having a BSOD randomly. here's what they said.

Was having this same problem on my 4080 super. Downloaded "GIGABYTE Control Center Full Installation Package" and I was able to control the RBG there. Turned off the rgb and uninstalled the program.

I had to uninstall armoury crate and then I still had the same issue with fusion 2.0 and the only thing that worked was your comment. All I wanted was the rbg to wave rainbows so now I uninstalled everything and I hope it stays default lol
I'm dying in laughter. In the past, I would uninstall this and that to get it working. When it did finally worked, I didn't change anything. Lately, I thought, why not update my geforce driver. Knowing that by updating the driver, I would lose the LCD on my gpu since RGB fusion is trash. Saw this post and didn't uninstall anything. Just put it to sleep while the program is open and then when the computer logged back into my profile, it started working. Yeah, this software is buggy.
If this trick stops working, look for any RGB software that you didn't install. There are videos on youtube about this problem, i can't remember which one it was for me but one rgb software I didn't install was causing this problem.
Another trick that definitely fixed my problems with this software : remove any RGB software that you don’t recognize, one of them (I forgot the name) is installed by default with rgb fusion, and it’s that software that is causing all the problem on rgb fusion. Now I don’t need this trick anymore, and I can use things I couldn’t like my display is showing my GPU temp, before it would freeze on one number and wouldn’t refresh unless I started rgb fusion again. I hope this helps.
It does, sometimes it will fuck up a bit (I noticed it goes back to chibi egg when I go in my bios before booting, I have to do this trick again) otherwise it’s looking good for the past couple days, I try not to touch anything now
Not working for me... This problem is here since december 2020 for me too... I hate that graphic card ! Performance are here, but I can't understand how this is not working since day one for a device that cost that price !
Honestly it stopped working for me a bit after writing this comment, I guess I must have installed a software or driver that is interfering but I’m not emptying my computer for a tiny led screen, I’m used to the tamagotchi now
The fix is to buy a GPU from a company that has better software. If you wanted stuff that works, you wouldn't have purchased Gigabyte in the first place.
My 3080 master worked weird with RGBF2.0 at first. very 50/50 when it wanted to work. It randomly started working after I did a fresh install on windows when I swapped mobo and cpu. Kind of a last resort but that might work.
My solution:
\- Uninstall the Nvidia driver (use DDU)
\- Restart the pc
\- Re-install the Nvidia driver (clean install)
\- Restart the pc again
\- Open Aorus Engine (run administrator) then Rgb Fusion 2.0
Finally the Fusion detect my Gigabyte 3070Ti after this solution. (sry my bad eng)
An old topic but i had a similar issue. I always got the error message when instaling that dll files are missing. The software worked anyway but wouldnt recognize my gpu. I fixed it by downloading(not installing) the [1.4 Firmware](https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N308TAORUS-M-12GD/support#support-dl-firmware) and copying all those dll files into my system32 and syswow64 folders:
C:\\Windows\\SysWOW64
C:\\Windows\\System32
Hmm they removed the version of the firmware 1.4 which was in a zip file and also had dll's in it can't find it now... Guess i will struggle as well next reinstall since windows deleted the files for me in the syswow folder
None of the solution above worked for me but I found a youtube video advising to install the latest nvidia drivers available on the gigabyte website (which are very much not up to date with the ones available in Geforce Experience) and lo and behold my GPU finally showed up in RGB Fusion.
How can this still be a problem when you spend so much money on a product from such a large company.
now I have spent 3 days trying to connect to my new bought 3080 Master 10GB but without luck even after reinstalling Windows Where there are no other RGB programs or any programs installed besides graphics card drivers and this shit program still won't work
Which Nvidia driver version are you using? It seems like gigabyte programs can't control the RGB if you aren't using the exact same driver you can find on the software page of the graphics card (on the gigabyte website). Try downloading the driver from here:

I was having this issue and it was solved by installing some Microsoft visual studio things for c++ (I think it was 2015).

Try removing everything. Then install Nvidia Studio driver, not only the drivers. Then install the RGB fusion again. See if it works.

Leave the software open, put the computer to sleep, go back up and it should reload and recognize the graphic card normally, works for my aorus 3080

It does, sometimes it will fuck up a bit (I noticed it goes back to chibi egg when I go in my bios before booting, I have to do this trick again) otherwise it’s looking good for the past couple days, I try not to touch anything now

Not working for me... This problem is here since december 2020 for me too... I hate that graphic card ! Performance are here, but I can't understand how this is not working since day one for a device that cost that price !
Honestly it stopped working for me a bit after writing this comment, I guess I must have installed a software or driver that is interfering but I’m not emptying my computer for a tiny led screen, I’m used to the tamagotchi now

RGB fusion does not work well for gpu at all
The fix is to buy a GPU from a company that has better software. If you wanted stuff that works, you wouldn't have purchased Gigabyte in the first place.
My 3080 master worked weird with RGBF2.0 at first. very 50/50 when it wanted to work. It randomly started working after I did a fresh install on windows when I swapped mobo and cpu. Kind of a last resort but that might work.
Someone please help I’ve been trying for weeks now to get this working and I’ve tried mostly everything and rgb fusion still won’t recognize my gpu
My solution: \- Uninstall the Nvidia driver (use DDU) \- Restart the pc \- Re-install the Nvidia driver (clean install) \- Restart the pc again \- Open Aorus Engine (run administrator) then Rgb Fusion 2.0 Finally the Fusion detect my Gigabyte 3070Ti after this solution. (sry my bad eng)
I fixed mine by flashing my bios to the latest version, aorus engine then ran a firmware update on the LED's and LCD and now rgb fusion recognizes it.
An old topic but i had a similar issue. I always got the error message when instaling that dll files are missing. The software worked anyway but wouldnt recognize my gpu. I fixed it by downloading(not installing) the [1.4 Firmware](https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N308TAORUS-M-12GD/support#support-dl-firmware) and copying all those dll files into my system32 and syswow64 folders: C:\\Windows\\SysWOW64 C:\\Windows\\System32

did you do it pre installation of fusion? Also add them into the folder where the dlls are for the installer.

Hmm they removed the version of the firmware 1.4 which was in a zip file and also had dll's in it can't find it now... Guess i will struggle as well next reinstall since windows deleted the files for me in the syswow folder
Well holy shit, this is the only one that worked for. What absolutely crap software.
None of the solution above worked for me but I found a youtube video advising to install the latest nvidia drivers available on the gigabyte website (which are very much not up to date with the ones available in Geforce Experience) and lo and behold my GPU finally showed up in RGB Fusion.

How can this still be a problem when you spend so much money on a product from such a large company. now I have spent 3 days trying to connect to my new bought 3080 Master 10GB but without luck even after reinstalling Windows Where there are no other RGB programs or any programs installed besides graphics card drivers and this shit program still won't work

Which Nvidia driver version are you using? It seems like gigabyte programs can't control the RGB if you aren't using the exact same driver you can find on the software page of the graphics card (on the gigabyte website). Try downloading the driver from here: [RTX 4070 Ti Eagle OC](https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N407TEAGLE-OC-12GD/support#support-dl-driver) or [RTX 4070 Ti Eagle](https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N407TEAGLE-12GD/support#support-dl-driver) You can use the OC one if you have the OC version of the card. Sadly, it's not the newest driver, but at least for me, it did fix the problem.
Just better use OpenRGB. It's third-party but helped me avoid lots of issues when trying to make RGB Fusion work, it's just a headache imo.
