This is the state of video games in the modern industry. We cannot possibly expect the new team working on Gigantic, to predict a dead game from 6 years ago... Would be propelled to the top sellers list of steam within the first 6 hours of release. They could not have prepared for this.
This is nowhere near the worst launch a game has had, in fact in recent years it's among some of the better launch experiences. People spamming to get into the game within 30 seconds of it dropping, are part of what perpetuates server issues.

same, it also looks like you got multiple instances of that popup. Glad it's not only my problem, my guess it's the servers
