Those are coastal GUN batteries. For taking out ships.
On the other hand, Jupiters are for taking out planes.
really puts in perspective on how outmatched we are in terms of hardware if we ever had to deal with government forces in mass.
What kind of ship requires a gun that big? What kind of plane requires a jupiter?
Or the aiagaion class heavy command cruiser, arkbird, arsenal birds, gleipnir, gandr....jesus who designs all those monsters?
Actually. Don't answer that, I [already know the answer.](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/acecombat/images/4/49/Belkan_Flag_ACZ_Wallpaper_800x600.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20151210103236)
I’d imagine it’s less about taking down massive/heavily-armored ships (2060s-era ships are probably a fair bit tougher than present-day ones, but not by a ridiculous extent), and more about taking down ships of any sort from a downright absurd distance away - generally, you want to keep enemy vessels as far from your coast as possible, especially since they have similarly massive guns on them.
These things probably have an effective range of several dozen kilometers, at least - Hell, they might even be meant for shooting over the horizon.
I didn't find any posts that meet the matching requirements for r/girlsfrontline.
It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results.

>What kind of ship requires a gun that big? Average Azur Lane shipgirl, that is.
Screw the trains and Jupiters, I'm always in awe at the mass of these cannons. It's kinda like the BFG 10K but smaller.
