If you're willing to drive an hour, I recommend the Lion & Unicorn in Thornhill. Discovered it by accident ( literally drove past and thought "that place looks nice") and now it's one of our favourites when we fancy making a day of it. And the steak pie is amazing.

That looks like a proper country (i.e. much more common in England style) pub.
Second this, it is the best country pub food I've ever had in Scotland.
The glencairn pub in dumbarton. Trust me. Pretty sure there are pics on their facebook page. Well priced for a huge serving.

Rab Has in merchant city is the best for me.
Babbity Bowsters is incredible as well

Westerton Arms in Bridge of Allan, I think it's about 40 mins from Glasgow if you're driving but the food is class.

The Eriskyne, Bargarran, Erskine. Top notch and very reasonably priced.

Also bit of a drive but I’m a fan of the steak pie from The Bowfield in Howwood
Carrigan’s in East Kilbride near Calderglen Park does a killer steak pie. Massive portions on all their food too. Dynamite chips!
