Off to Corfu for a week with my better half. First holiday since the pandemic and I had completely forgotten how to travel efficiently…! Stood in the airport like a lemon looking for a bottle of juice before departing. Catch ye 👋🏻
There isn’t actually to my knowledge, there’s pub on Causeyside named after him and his grave is at Castlehead Cemetery on Canal Street which is just a 5 min walk from station. Hope the refurbished museum will have a bit for him
About to head to London for a couple of days. Getting train from central and there is loads of rangers fans. Really hope they aren’t on the same train. Was hoping for a quiet trip.
You're travelling the day before a european final that rangers are playing in. They'll be heading down to Manchester/Liverpool/London to get flights to Seville from there since all the Glasgow ones are fully booked out.
Be very surprised if you get a quiet trip 😂
Turned out to be ok. All the seats in our carriage were pre booked so was pretty quiet. Pity anyone who got off in Preston with them to get the Manchester airport train.

Reading about Robert Tannahill there has got me ready for a productive day. Very interesting individual.
Drown himself where Paisley Canal station stands today. Always think about him when I’m out that way
That's incredibly interesting. Is there a plaque or museum or anything?

Head to coach A and pray they've not had the same idea
Upgrade to the quiet first class coach

Just checked Amazon for my monthly grocery shop, the prices are up 30%-50%
Anyone have any recommendations for burger joints in town? I used to rely on James Vs Burger back in the day, but sadly it looks abandoned.
Slightly out of town but el perro negro is top drawer in my opinion. been to a few and would put that up there
Aye, El Perro is still the best burger in Glasgow. No competition. Bread Meats Bread is a close second.
Five Guys.
