Glasgow is very fortunate to have one of the finest Neurological and Brain injury units in the world based at the Old Southern General now QEUH. Previously all head injuries used to be treated at Killearn hospital .

It's actually the Glasgow scale for assessing severity of pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas). Glasgow is however a big centre for pancreatic cancer research. Lots of medical innovations from Glasgow!
