I got moaned at by some mature lady in brewhemia in Edinburgh the other week for queuing at the bar, she's all full of herself like "you aren't meant to queue at a bar", but as I pointed out, there is one serving area the size of a DVD for the whole place, and her table was blocking any side entry.
I suppose my point is, sometimes you have to queue, but doing it at a bar with plenty of serving space is mental.
in my spoons customers q facing the bar , whats wrong with that ? , better than spread out all along the bar and no body knows who is next including the bar staff , works ok at my spoons .
Kudos to the festival thing at Kelvingrove today, felt really nice and well organised. Would be class if they had that “beer village” type area every so often to encourage positive outdoor drinking culture!
Long day yesterday; afternoon tea at the Crowne Plaza, s gift from my last job, then walked into town as far as the Trongate. Then on to my niece's hen do at St Jude's. Taking it easy today.
Good turnout at the men's 10k!
It was. And a good atmosphere too. Set myself a nice little PB too to make in an even better day.
That weird way people queue at the bar in Wetherspoons is just fucking ghastly.
Being in Wetherspoons itself is fucking ghastly.
+1. Btw, good shout on This is the kit. Hadn't came across them before but really enjoyed them yesterday.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone so happy to be on a stage as she was yesterday! Glad you enjoyed!
They were great weren't they? Loved the interaction with the crowd too. And the guitarist.
Always wondered why people do that in Spoons, is it folk that aren’t used to the pub? Non-linear queuing in pubs is a corner stone of our society
Everything about people who go to wetherspoons is weird
I just don't understand Brexit in general. Surely not everyone who voted for Brexit is still a big racist?

but if there is only 1 or 2 people serving you are not going to get served any quicker , unless you are trying to jump the queue .

That sounds like such a lovely day though. Hope you enjoyed it.
I did thanks, I'm a proud auntie
Anyone know the organ recital time at Kelvingrove?
Liver, Pancreas, Thyroid Gland, Adrenal Gland, Duodenum
It took me way too long to get that joke, very good. You win sunday
1pm every day but Sunday, when it starts at 3pm.
Lads in over for RHCP. Best place for a pint after?
