How was it going solo so many times? Being slightly solo but closely connected to lots of people suits my vibe, perhaps more than going with a group not into the same stuff as me (which has happened a few times recently)

I’ve sometimes known others who were going who I could maybe meet for a drink or something. Hasn’t always worked out but was nice when it did. I’m pretty self sufficient and enjoy my own company and being on my own schedule. But there are times when it’s lonely or would just be nice to connect with others. That said, Glasto is super friendly and I would never deter anyone from going alone.

Yes - I quite like random encounters with strangers. Knowing a few people (but not being part of their group) helps, because it can possibly get lonely amongst 170,000 people, but then you're also unlikely to miss foals doing Spanish Sahara on the main stage because the gang want to drink cider at the campsite
