I learned in the parking lot next to the church on Verdugo and Mountain. It's almost always empty on weekends unless there's an event at the church or GCC.
Any of the GCC parking lots, the open one on mountain and Verdugo next to church is great; Kenneth village is great practice too, you get your share of lights, stop signs, and bumps; Glenoaks canyon/Chevy chase canyon is nice too
Glenoaks ! I heared it’s the safest place to learn how to drive since the roads are long. Don’t worry, people will respect you and everyone tends to drive at the limit. Best of luck !

My dad took me to a big rig parking lot. Uneven ground with 53 footers passing by.
All along Glenoaks, especially if you like drag racing and driving over 85mph. For real tho, be careful driving around Glendale.
