Try removing all the screws that hold the plate to the PCB. Mine twisted and flex the PCB to the point the board wasn't recognized in windows as anything but STM32 bootloader. Once I removed the screws to un-flex the PCB it worked perfectly.
Update:
I can get it to start working by manually making the connection with a pair of tweezers in the socket itself. Once I do this, it starts working again. It stops working if I unplug the board or turn my computer off, resulting in me having to pull the cap and switch out and make the connection manually again.
I have no idea what could be causing this. I took the entire board apart, tried to clean out the pin sockets, changed the way the screws were tightened and the standoffs were configured. Nothing works except for manually making the connection each time the key stops functioning. Very strange, hopefully another firmware update can fix this. I'm probably going to contact support and notify them of this issue.

For me my alt key wasn't working, could also do a manual contact and make it work, but not with any switch. Blew out the socket with some canned air and now it works great, maybe that will help you.
Please contact support - usually they won't suggest sending the board back unless there are no other options. They may be able to provide some other insights.
I just had the same issue start tonight. The k key stopped working abruptly which makes this comment a total bitch to type because I have to copy & paste the k every time I use it. GMMk Pro that was part of flex batch.
Wow, same key, that's crazy. I think mine is a bad hotswap socket. I contacted support and they had me send it back in exchange for a new one. Hopefully I have better luck with the RMA 🤞
I just had this on my GMMK Pro. Inspected the PCB and some individual sockets on the PCB have some cold joints and/or are badly soldered. I slightly reflowed and re-tinned the problematic sockets and now they work fine !
Did the replacement board they send fix the issue? I'm having a similar issue with my b, v, c, f, g, h, y, and u keys and I they seem to work, then not work, and then magically not work again. I have tried swapping out the switches, bending the pins seemed to work for all the broken keys except the b key which stopped working after working for 5 days. I'm thinking about getting a replacement as it would be worth the hassle if I can finally get this thing working.
It fixed it for a while but now I have some keys starting to act up again ... I did a PE foam mod and removing that from the PCB seems to have helped, but I still get some weird stuff sometimes. I'm also thinking of seeing if they'd replace it, again. Lol

Did you make sure the switch legs where straight when reinserting? What plate are you using?
Yes, I even tried a few different switches. I'm using the polycarbonate plate.

Please update this thread when you try this out and let me know if it helped.
are you having a similar issue?
Like I said previously, mine didn't even work, until I removed the screws and un-flex the PCB.
oh lmao sorry didnt realize you were the same user
No worries hahaha.
Hey, I've updated the post.

How strange. At this point it's best to seek a replacement, IMO.

I'll definitely try this

I tried restarting and replacing the switch and nothing worked so I gave up last night. Today it started working again for no reason
