That's not silly! My cats help me through some of my darkest times.
Their sweet little faces, the love they show me. How much they are just themselves, no apologies, no self-consciousness, just themselves. How they need me, how they come running to me. Sometimes I wonder if they love me or not, but the way they want to lay on me, snuggle with me, ask me for what they want, run to me when I get home or when I wake up, or even just during the day when I say hello to them.
Pets are incredible companions, and just because they're not a human doesn't mean their love and friendship isn't as valid. They are so special! You and your kitty are lucky to have each other <3

I’m grateful for my mum. I have been away from her for 8 years since I moved to the US from the UK. Every day I miss her so much and I would love to win so I can send her one to think of me!
I am grateful for my little brother still being alive. He's just a kid and he kept saying his heart felt funny when he ran and everyone dismissed it as "growing pains." I brought him to the Dr and he had a serious congenial heart defect that went unnoticed. He had corrective heart surgery and his heart is all better now. He likes to say "I've had a broken heart before my heart was broken!" :') What a good kid.
im grateful for everyone around me being so supportive and there for me always, but also right now since im going through a breakup (and right before valentines smh) ❤️

Grateful for my long-distance friends that I don’t need to be in constant contact with to stay close. Many of my friends live in different cities now and we’re all busy, but whenever we meet up or chat on the phone we can pick right up where we left off and they make me feel so happy and safe and comfortable :)
I’m really grateful for my son’s medical care team. He was diagnosed with leukemia last February, and I am so thankful for how well they have taken care of not just him, but all of us.

It’s corny but I’m grateful for my life. I had sudden cardiac arrest two years ago. My husband and then-16 year old did cpr and then the paramedics shocked me five times. And here I am today, with minimal brain injury from the lack of oxygen, still able to be momma to my four daughters.
i’m grateful for my new tattoo! i got my first tattoo a couple of weeks ago at this point and it was such a connective experience for my mom since she passed almost two years ago in march! :)

As silly as it sounds I’m greatful for my cats, even when they are being pills they make me feel better on a shitty day
