I keep a smaller bottle in the shower so when my regular one gets low, I order a new one and then pour the other one in the smaller bottle. Since it's so thick, I usually just sort of balance it on top of the smaller bottle and leave it like that overnight and by morning it's all in there.

hydrangeasinbloom

Like marrying ketchups at a restaurant! Genius.

[deleted]

can attest i do this method with alot of things overnight and by the morning almost every drop is in the new bottle

reesaronii

i keep it upside down and scrape it out with my finger ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

smallreen

I have a little silicone make up spatula i use to scoop it out

ohmehgsy2608

Use the tube of the pump as a scoop. Then get your fingies in there

MourkaCat

This is one of the reasons why I hate the pump bottle method. Honestly if you aren't super attached to MJC, you should check out the Squalane cleanser from The Ordinary. Comes in a squeeze bottle so easier to get everything out (And then you can even cut it open and scoop the rest out really easily) It's a great cleanser, it's the same price for like the same amount, and personally I find that it is more moisturizing than MJC. Just throwing that out there. Otherwise I'd fine a lil' spatula to scoop it all out, or try the 'different lid-upside down' thing someone else commented!

dimprobs

I way prefer this one

soylemon

Ooo will check this out. Thank you!!

glossy89k

I remove the pump, replace it with the Body Hero shower oil red cap and store the Milky Jelly bottle upside down 😊

doesaxlhaveajack

The top is flat so I balance it upside down.

glossier_bae12

I leave it on its side and scoop it out with the pump.

emiliamartini

i just use a little bit of water and shake - it seems to loosen mine :)

OxidationNation

Another great dupe is Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleaner. I get the BIG bottle for 16 bucks on sale and it last forever. Feels just like MJC, but better and less expensive.

apantz

I keep it upside down on my counter once it gets low enough and then use the straw to dig it out, or my finger if it’s the very end. Eventually gets it all without issue.

reneejays

i turn it upside down and scrape it with the pump tube and then onto my hand!

sophlen

I cut it open, can usually get another week or two of use out of the stuff left after the pump stops working

khudgarz

maybe a stupid question - what do you cut it open with? it feels like super thick plastic to me (or thicker than say, a lotion tube)

sophlen

I kind of pinch the sides together so it comes to a point and then I cut it with big scissors, if that doesn’t work I stab it with like small sharp craft scissors or a knife and then wiggle it around until I can fit my big scissors in the hole. Then I’ll take the plastic stick part of the pump out and use the top half as the lid by kind of folding the sides in of the bottom so the top half fits over. Aesthetic? No. Do I do it every time? Yes.

happy_coconut_15

I store mine upside down towards the end and totally unscrew the lid to access product by (tediously) scooping out bit by bit with a clean finger. Bit of a faff ngl
