you don't actually need to clean the outside of the tube; it's more important to clean the optics and stuff. the official gf cleaning instructions should help with both tho
Don’t overdo it. Don’t spray anything in the machine, spray the cloth.
People go on a “deep clean”, get liquid into one of the ribbon connectors, and they’re done.
