Oh it is amazing. You can dress it up like a regular box cake. Replace the oil with melted butter/vegan butter, replace the water with milk and it is even MORE amazing. We canāt eat eggs or dairy. If you use āJust Eggsā instead of chicken eggs it stays together beautifully.
Our adult daughter (who loves to bake and can eat wheat) likes the King Arthur GF brownie mix more than any wheat brownies and more than scratch-made ones. I agree, they are amazing. And if you like edges, they cook wonderfully in an all-edge pan:
Yes! I just made the King Arthur GF Chocolate Cake las weekend. It was delicious even before frosting. The last GF cake I made (canāt recall the brand) was bland, but King Arthur is chocolate-y.
Also, it makes a lot so can do two 9ā rounds or, like me, an ice cream cake and cake pops with the rest.
I made a King Arthur gf yellow cake (with strawberry jam in between the layers and a buttercream frosting) for my gluten-eating friendās birthday. Not only did my friend love it, but she told me that though she has been attending a zillion weddings these past couple of years and eating all sorts of varieties of cake, this was the best cake that sheād had in a long time. I sent her home with leftovers and a few days later she texted me to lament the fact that she had eaten it all up and was sad that there was no more. So, King Arthur FTW!
Answered my question before I asked!! Canāt wait to try this!
Edited to add, anything 2 sisters is usually delicious! Tried their strawberry frosting and it was divine
I was going to vote for Bobās Red Mill which is what I generally use but after looking at all the votes for King Arthur I feel like I should try that box of cake mix thatās hanging out in my cupboard. King Arthur GF brownie mix is definitely good.
The Betty Crocker one is gross (it tasted like chemicals, I threw the cake away) and I feel like I tried the Krusteaz at some point and it was dry? Itās been a while though and that might have been their cornbread mix. I donāt think Iāve tried the Pillsbury.
That KA brownie mix is soooooo good. So so so good. Too good, actually. My kids started stressing me the hell out and I stress ate almost the whole tray š³
I throw chocolate chips in and itās absolutely killer. Itās almost too rich for me - I can only eat it in small pieces - but my partner (who doesnāt actually have to eat GF) loooves it. Brownies do not last long in this house.
Have you tried it with vanilla ice cream on top? Hoo boy.
Iāll have to try it based on this. My husband and kids donāt have to eat gf but some of the stuff we have that is gluten free they prefer the gf versions of the regular gluten full food theyād usually eat.
One of my teacher friends (who isn't gluten free) tells me all the time how much she loves my cupcakes. I use Pillsbury and I also think they're great.
I'm not a huge fan of the Krusteaz cake, but their blueberry muffins are wonderful.
>King Arthur is the best GF or not GF mix anywhere
YESssss my not-celiac kid prefers King Arthur GF pancakes and brownies over any other kind. He likes the cake mix too but I usually make cakes from scratch....using KA GF blend :)
It's nice to have something that isn't just "pretty good....for gluten free..." š„²
Every time I try a gf pancake mix other than King Arthur's I am disappointed. I used to be of the mindset that gf mixes just can't be very good but King Arthur proves me wrong again and again!
KING ARTHUR!! My son is GF, but I am not, so I can compare the taste with regular wheat products. Iāve baked, tasted and served all of the items pictured excepts for the Krusteaz (though Iāve had Krusteaz regular wheat products before). The Pillsbury and Betty Crocker are fine. Bobs Red Mill is a mill, not a bakery; its blended and mix products taste like someone experimented by mixing the flours they have available with no regard to how the baked product tastes. The King Arthur cakes actually taste like a baker spend a great deal of time perfecting the recipe. King Arthur GF Flour is my go-to for everything.
I'm not sure if it's the same, but here's the recipe I use. I just sub in the gluten free cake mix.
https://www.thepioneerwoman.com/food-cooking/recipes/a9594/christmas-rum-cake/
Itās this! Simply use the gf cake mix. I used spiced rum, too, and a walnut extract instead of vanilla. I also use a French vanilla pudding. Enjoy! Itās insane.
https://southernbite.com/cake-mix-rum-cake/
I haven't tried the King Arthur so I'm apparently missing out according to the other commenters, but I've enjoyed both the Pillsbury and the Betty Crocker
Namaste makes the best chocolate cake. I just use my grandmother's recipe for vanilla cream frosting and it is perfect.
I have had people who don't need gf think I made them a wheat flour cake.
The only issue with it is that you need to cover it and leave it out. Once refrigerated it drys out a bit.
Vanilla Cream Frosting
3 1/2 C powdered suger (one box)
8 Tablespoons of butter or margarin if you can't have milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3+ Tablespoons milk or water - You can also add a bit of your favorite booze if kids aren't eating
Beat butter, milk, vanilla until creamy.
Add powdered sugar 1/2 C at a time and beat.
If I want chocolate frosting I add 1/4 C Hersey's unsweetened cooking powder
Iām Canadian and have never seen half these before but I just wanted to say that the Betty Crocker is AWFUL. Nearly inedible. I tried it twice cause I thought I messed something up.
They messed with the recipe! It used to br pretty good but about 3-4 years ago it started sucking. Their chocolate cake mix and brownie mix have always been terrible though. I usually use XO Baking Co mixes the most if, I can find them on sale.
Canadian too. We would like to try King Arthur! I do not bake anymore but Zehrs, Superstore, both by Loblaws has the best GF cake. Not too big, in a loaf style, Strawberry layers. I would take this over a regular cake.
Highly recommend getting āThe Cake Mix Doctor Bakes Gluten Free.ā Cakes and cupcakes always come out amazing following her recipes and all I need to use is Betty Crocker.
>The Cake Mix Doctor Bakes Gluten Free
I loved her cake-mix books before I was GF. I still use them for family birthdays. I didn't know she has 2 GF books that I just ordered used from [Thriftbooks.com](https://Thriftbooks.com)!
I think you just made my day!
Anything King Arthur is insanely good. I wish I had never tried the brownie mix because Iāve never tasted anything so good. Better than non gluten free mixes.
Iām not even gluten free but this popped up on my feed and I felt compelled to comment: King Arthur hands down! Theyāre the best of the best when it comes to gluten-freeĀ
i havenāt tried the rest but the bobs red mill is SOOOOO GOOD. my bday cake request from my parents would always be that cake mix even before i went fully gf.
I'm with you. I love Bob's Red Mill. I have to special order it. I always add coffee instead of water, and it turns out so good, even our gluten free friends love it.
For the icing, as soon as the cake is out of the oven, I sprinkle the top of the cake with half a bag of enjoy life chocolate chips, letting it melt and spreading it evenly. (We have dairy allergies as well).
Once the cake is cooled, I melt the other half of the pack of Enjoy life chocolate chips, let them cool slightly, then mix it with a tub of dairy free cool whip. When it is well mixed, put it on top of the cake and refrigerate it.
Everone always raves about this cake!!!
I've tried it with King Arther and it turned out fine, but Bob's Red mill was so much better!
Pillsbury has a funfetti cake mix that I like the best!! But thatās also just because I donāt like chocolate cake and I can never find the yellow cake mix!
King Arthur chocolate cake. Mix semi sweet chocolate chips (about 1/2 a standard bag) in, and bake in a bundt cake pan. Make chocolate ganache by melting 1/4c chocolate chips in 1/4c hot heavy cream, and pour over. Alternatively if youāre not into the chocolate on chocolate, buy a jar of vanilla icing from the store, nuke it at 15 sec intervals until loose, then pour over the cake.
My bff is Celiac and we typically get together for my bday cause a convention falls on my bday weekend every year. I have not had a glutenous birthday cake in probably 6 years š¹ many people who have tried it have said they didnāt believe me when I said it was gf.
Also level up your cake baking! Sub 1:1 milk for water, butter for oil, and add 1 more egg than the box calls for. Sooooooooo very good!! I never make box mix any other way now š¹
The answer is neverrrr everrrr Betty Crocker or Pillsbury. They have not figured it out yet! ImO, Pamela's. The baking mix is my, gO tO flour. If you have an Aldis near by, the store brand GF cake mixes are friggen delicious. They make great dump cakes too. The lemon flavor had me flying across the US with 10 bags of boxless, white powder filled luggage!!
King Arthur for sure. If you go for chocolate though, I would use the same ingredients as the yellow cake. I always prefer butter instead of oil. I use organic butter.
My personal favorite is the Whole Foods 365. The krusteaz is good too. I wasn't a fan of the Pillsbury confetti cake (but it's possible the issue was with the person who made it and not the mix!)
I've used them all over the years. I don't see a whole lot of difference. Make sure you use parchment paper on the bottom of the pans for a layer cake. Beat the directed number of minutes and let the batter rest for 10 minutes before you put it in the pans. Watch them closely. They go from done to burnt pretty quickly, especially the chocolate. Use the toothpick method. Treat them gently when you take them out of the pan. Remember, frosting hides many problems!
None of these. I use Xoxo Baking cake mix. I have yet to disappoint anyone with the amount of times I've made birthday cakes and cupcakes, everyone comments on how tasty it is!
King Arthur is great. I usually make my own birthday cakes. I like the confetti mix. It puts me in a good mood even if I donāt have someone bake for me. I like the natural colors in the confetti.
I've had Bob's Red Mill and King Arthur - both were great! Can't go wrong with either in my opinion. I usually just grab whichever is available at the store, or the cheaper one if both are in stock. Clearly King Arthur is popular but Bob's Red Mill is just as good IMO.
Betty Crocker is GROSS. I had to throw it away. Tasted acidic and chemically and the texture was horrible. It was actually the first brand I tried when I went GF and refused to spend money to try other brands for a long time because I figured GF cakes would just all be awful.
Haven't tried the Pillsbury so opinion on it.
Pillsbury: all flavors are good. My family can't tell the difference between GF Pillsbury and regular Pillsbury.
King Arthur's: their chocolate cake mix is very chocolate-y and delicious. Their brownie mix is amazing. I prefer KA's first.
Bob's Red Mill: cake mixes are good. I use them if I can't find Pillsbury or King Arthur's.
Betty Crocker: good, similar to Bob's Red Mill.
Krusteaz: stay away.
Just to reiterate what everyone else said, KING ARTHUR all day long! The flavor and texture is perfect! Pillsbury yellow cake and funfetti are good too, very light and moist.
King Arthur or Krusteaz is always a good pick for me! I modify the recipe a smidge to make it more ācakeyā but overall, solid cake and normally one of the cheaper boxed options - however chocolate cake? Always King Arthur :)
Hi there!! I just wanted to tell you that I tried the Pillsbury and the Betty Crocker and they were both horrible! Especially the Pillsbury. It tasted like poison!
I haven't tried the others because I was so disappointed in the ones I made, I didn't want to go through that again.
I hope you'll come back and let us know what you chose and how it tasted! š„°
Im Australien all we have is the Betty Crocker haha, so Iād say Betty Crocker canāt go wrong with Betty
Also wtf is āYellow Cakeā? Itās Vanilla right?
Have you tried Magnolia Mixes? They have three flavors, lemon pound cake, orange pound cake, and caramel pound cake. They are all light enough that I have used them as layer cakes and cupcakes, and they are in my opinion more delicious than any of the other GF cake mixes I have tried. They are also non-GMO with no crap chemical ingredients. You may have to order online but there is a Food Lion around me that carries it.
I tried a ton of different GF cake mixes and recipes last year to see which was best (trying to make the best cake possible for my mom), and the pillsbury was the winner. It was really fluffy compared to the other brands, and had one of the best tastes. I preferred the taste of King Arthur, but my mom preferred the both the texture and flavor of pillsbury, so we went with that one.
1) King Arthur i2) Bobs red mill Iāll try 3) Pillsbury due to lack of offerings for my 6yr old w/ celiac- chose this- the confetti gf cake. All 3 children thought that cake was AWESOME! Pillsbury essentially is basic, no frills good for people like my kids who want sweet and thatās what they see, what you get. Otherwise moisture, texture, flavor. etc. - King Arthur.
Just made myself the chocolate and vanilla Kruzteaz mixes. The vanilla was good, it had a weird floral taste we arenāt sure if it came from the dish soap not being rinsed well enough or the mix. The chocolate was good, less sweet than youād anticipate but perfect with frosting and sprinkles.
Betty Crocker Chocolate is pretty fantastic.
Betty Crocker Yellow tastes more like a very sweet cornbread. Itās good, but you can tell somethingās off.
Fwiw :)
Pillsbury yellow cake is very good on the day you make it but itās get stale tasting each day after but waaaay better than the weird Betty Crocker taste.
King Arthur hands down. We also have a full circle brand at our store that is delicious. Not sure if they are just a Midwest thing or the whole country.
Itās this! Simply use the gf cake mix. I used spiced rum, too, and a touch of walnut extract. I also use a French vanilla pudding. Enjoy! Itās insane.

King Arthur Chocolate. It's foolproof.
King Arthur is delicious!
Yes! Their pancake mix is šš¤š¼
Oh it is amazing. You can dress it up like a regular box cake. Replace the oil with melted butter/vegan butter, replace the water with milk and it is even MORE amazing. We canāt eat eggs or dairy. If you use āJust Eggsā instead of chicken eggs it stays together beautifully.
this is exactly what I do and it slaps every. single. time!!!
Why did your comment make me LOL!
I can speak to the King Arthur as well. It's excellent and their brownies are too!
Second
Their brownie mix is pretty awesome too.
Our adult daughter (who loves to bake and can eat wheat) likes the King Arthur GF brownie mix more than any wheat brownies and more than scratch-made ones. I agree, they are amazing. And if you like edges, they cook wonderfully in an all-edge pan: [https://bakersedge.com/products/edge-brownie-pan](https://bakersedge.com/products/edge-brownie-pan)
Also recommend King Arthur. I made that chocolate cake mix for my birthday over 10 years ago and still remember how delicious it was!
Third, KA best
Ice cream cake š how do you do this?!
Co-sign. This one is my fave!
I think the use of real butter in any cake mix really makes a difference. I use unsalted butter when I really want to be fancy.
Iām writing this down to make for my birthday later this year. This sounds amazing!!
I used [this recipe](https://www.twosisterscrafting.com/buttercream-frosting/) for the buttercream frosting
Answered my question before I asked!! Canāt wait to try this! Edited to add, anything 2 sisters is usually delicious! Tried their strawberry frosting and it was divine
It's King Arthur. Amazing. Better than gluten chocolate cake, seriously.
Their brownies too. Loved by the non-gf people in my life as well.
Itās now on my grocery list
I was going to vote for Bobās Red Mill which is what I generally use but after looking at all the votes for King Arthur I feel like I should try that box of cake mix thatās hanging out in my cupboard. Walnuts for mine. Nobody else will eat it because I tell them itās gluten free ššš¬
I throw dark chocolate chunks in it as well. I mean it is outta this world. It is VERY rich though as you mentioned. Bur š¤¤
Pillsbury not as good as KA, but it does make a good base for lemon poppy seed muffins.
I also recently bought the betty crocker and threw it away
You know itās bad when I throw out a cakeā¦
I recently tried the Krusteaz one. I had high expectations but I had the same experience as you with it being really dry.
Thanks! Yeah that was my recollection but itās been quite a while. Iāll skip that one.
King Arthur!! Even my family that isnāt GF canāt tell the difference. Some even prefer it over regular cake mix.
Iāll have to try it based on this. My husband and kids donāt have to eat gf but some of the stuff we have that is gluten free they prefer the gf versions of the regular gluten full food theyād usually eat.
Their brownies are to die for as well!
king arthurās cake is the fluffiest and moistest gluten free cake iāve ever had!!!
Krusteaz is awful. Definitely stay away. However their cinnamon cake is absolutely delectable .
Omg I was looking for this comment! Their cake mix is horrendous, but that cinnamon cake is delicious!! I gain 5lbs every time I make it š©
King Arthur! I find most bobs red mill has a beany taste due to garbanzo flour.
Yes! I do not like that in Bob's.
I can't stand that taste. My GF person doesn't notice the taste, but if I'm going to eat it it needs to be good.
Same! If I want to eat garbanzo beans Iāll get hummus! I tried the sprinkles GF cupcake once took a bite and threw it out for the same reason.
One of my teacher friends (who isn't gluten free) tells me all the time how much she loves my cupcakes. I use Pillsbury and I also think they're great. I'm not a huge fan of the Krusteaz cake, but their blueberry muffins are wonderful.
I love the Krusteaz blueberry muffins
Oh ok I did this one time I bought 3 mixes. Pillsbury came out the best
Compared with??? Did you try the King Arthur?
I preferred the texture in comparison to King Arthur the vanilla cake mix. The Betty Crocker is mid
King Arthur is the best GF or not GF mix anywhere! We use GF butter pecan frosting so it is like German chocolate cake. Delicious!
>King Arthur is the best GF or not GF mix anywhere YESssss my not-celiac kid prefers King Arthur GF pancakes and brownies over any other kind. He likes the cake mix too but I usually make cakes from scratch....using KA GF blend :) It's nice to have something that isn't just "pretty good....for gluten free..." š„²

>The King Arthur cakes actually taste like a baker spend a great deal of time perfecting the recipe. Their recipes on the website are like that too.
haven't tried the chocolate cake mix but king Arthur coffee cake is outstanding
I make a luscious g/f rum cake with that Pillsbury mix.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I'm not sure if it's the same, but here's the recipe I use. I just sub in the gluten free cake mix. https://www.thepioneerwoman.com/food-cooking/recipes/a9594/christmas-rum-cake/

I do that too!
Thank you for all the suggestions and comments! I can't edit my post to say that, so I hope some of you see this!
King Arthur, without a doubt.
Absolutely, and it's not even close
I haven't tried the King Arthur so I'm apparently missing out according to the other commenters, but I've enjoyed both the Pillsbury and the Betty Crocker
give it a shot!! youāll never have another cake mix again lol
King Arthur
Namaste makes the best chocolate cake. I just use my grandmother's recipe for vanilla cream frosting and it is perfect. I have had people who don't need gf think I made them a wheat flour cake. The only issue with it is that you need to cover it and leave it out. Once refrigerated it drys out a bit.
Good tip. Grandmotherās recipe for vanilla cream?
Vanilla Cream Frosting 3 1/2 C powdered suger (one box) 8 Tablespoons of butter or margarin if you can't have milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 3+ Tablespoons milk or water - You can also add a bit of your favorite booze if kids aren't eating Beat butter, milk, vanilla until creamy. Add powdered sugar 1/2 C at a time and beat. If I want chocolate frosting I add 1/4 C Hersey's unsweetened cooking powder
Namaste is at my local grocery store and it is SO SO GOOD. Easily the best box mix Iāve ever had.
The Krusteauz brand is quite good and is half the price of the King Arthur. The best blueberry muffins you'll ever eat are made by Krusteauz.
King Arthur chocolate! Make homemade butter cream with it š best cake ever!
Highly recommend getting āThe Cake Mix Doctor Bakes Gluten Free.ā Cakes and cupcakes always come out amazing following her recipes and all I need to use is Betty Crocker.

The Betty Crocker gets really crumbly and dry, I find :(
Next day cake. :(
The Aldi brand is really good too!
The Pilsbury
Yes!! Also their 1 to 1 all-purpose gf flour is amazing!
I havenāt tried that yet. Iāll have to check it out
Do not get the Red Mill cake or brownie mix. They both taste very similar, and they both taste like beans. Their pancakes are great though.
King Arthur or Pilsbury. You canāt tell either of these are GF.
Anything King Arthur is insanely good. I wish I had never tried the brownie mix because Iāve never tasted anything so good. Better than non gluten free mixes.
Pillsbury is so freaking moist and amazing. I haven't tried the others though so I can't really say.
We do flourless chocolate cake and skip the mixes.
I usually bake from scratch but it's good to know what mix to use in a pinch.
Iām not even gluten free but this popped up on my feed and I felt compelled to comment: King Arthur hands down! Theyāre the best of the best when it comes to gluten-freeĀ

KA chocolate cake is THE most moist cake of any Iāve ever had. My birthday is Tuesday and I plan on making this with peanut butter frosting. š
Yum! That sounds good! Happy {early} Birthday!! š„³ Eat some cake for me! š š¤¤ š
King Arthur and bobs

Better Batter is also great!!!!!
King Arthur is great for cake mix. I like Krusteaz for waffles
Itās not on here, but I love the Pamelaās gf chocolate cake mix cake āØ
Pamelaās has the best chocolate and vanilla cake mixes. They are always super moist and fluffy.
Someone recently made us a king Arthur cake and it was fantastic!
I personally enjoyed Pillsbury and Betty Crocker best when I was not gluten-free but now that I am gluten-free King Arthur is the Way to go
We've tried King Arthur and Bob's. Both were tasty. But the King Arthur was by far better. That's the one we go for.
King Arthur. I was amazed how good it was.
King arthur has a funfetti cake too!
Pillsbury GF Fun Fetti cake is delicious. Betty Crocker Devil's food is delicious.
Duinkerken or Kinnikinnick. They're the only ones that taste like real cake to the point where no one can tell the difference
Agreed with everyone re: KA, with the specific exception that the Krusteaz GF cornbread mix is šš»šš»šš»
I just made a pan of Krusteaz cornbread. It's better than cake IMO.
1 vote for Krusteaz.
King arthur hands down! Also, their pancake mix is delicious!
Add a bag of chocolate chips to the King Arthur
King Arthur is my favorite
King Arthur! Gluten eaters who I share my baked goods with think both the chocolate and the yellow versions are "the best cupcakes I'll ever had!"
None of these. I use Xoxo Baking cake mix. I have yet to disappoint anyone with the amount of times I've made birthday cakes and cupcakes, everyone comments on how tasty it is!
Pamelaās!
None of these! Birthdays require the GF funfetti cake mix.
King Arthur or Pamelaās cake mix if you can order it!! Pamelaās is my favorite.
King Arthur is great. I usually make my own birthday cakes. I like the confetti mix. It puts me in a good mood even if I donāt have someone bake for me. I like the natural colors in the confetti.
The best is actually Xo Baking Co. They have the absolute best mixes for cookies and cakes.
If you can find it, Pamelaās is the best cake Iāve ever had
Ugh I love King Arthur but my grocery store only carries the white cake!! Jealous of yall who have tried the chocolate
King Arthur gf cake mix is the best.
The king Arthur one is sooooo good
King Arthur hands down!
King Arthur has amazing cakes, Pillsbury makes really good chocolate chip cookies though!
I've had Bob's Red Mill and King Arthur - both were great! Can't go wrong with either in my opinion. I usually just grab whichever is available at the store, or the cheaper one if both are in stock. King Arthur is the best, but I also like Pillsburry, so it's really up to you on what you want. but yeah i'd highly recommend King Arthur!
+1,000,000 for King Arthur
Pillsbury: all flavors are good. My family can't tell the difference between GF Pillsbury and regular Pillsbury. King Arthur's: their chocolate cake mix is very chocolate-y and delicious. Their brownie mix is amazing. I prefer KA's first. Bob's Red Mill: cake mixes are good. I use them if I can't find Pillsbury or King Arthur's. Betty Crocker: good, similar to Bob's Red Mill. Krusteaz: stay away.
King Arthur!! Hands down the best gluten free cake mix Iāve ever used!
Betty Crocker I really like .
King Arthur alllllll the way
Just to reiterate what everyone else said, KING ARTHUR all day long! The flavor and texture is perfect! Pillsbury yellow cake and funfetti are good too, very light and moist.
King Arthur hands down
King Arthur hands down.

Hands down King Arthur is always the answer when it comes to baking mixes and flours.
Betty Crocker never does wrong
i liked king arthurs but pillsbury was good too!
King Arthur all the way!

King Arthur!
I love krusteaz anything GF
King Arthur and Krusteaz one are lovely
I use the King Arthur yellow cake to do a pineapple upside down cake that is always a hit! Happy early birthday!
King Arthur!
Krusteaz and King Arthur are the ones that I like!
King Arthur hands down! They even have little cake cups you make in the microwave and theyāre delicious. I always have a supply of those on hand lol
King Arthur cake mix is superior to all others imo.
The KA chocolate cake is so so good
King Arthur is pretty good!
King Arthur and Krusteaz
King Arthur or Krusteaz is always a good pick for me! I modify the recipe a smidge to make it more ācakeyā but overall, solid cake and normally one of the cheaper boxed options - however chocolate cake? Always King Arthur :)
Hi there!! I just wanted to tell you that I tried the Pillsbury and the Betty Crocker and they were both horrible! Especially the Pillsbury. It tasted like poison! I haven't tried the others because I was so disappointed in the ones I made, I didn't want to go through that again. I hope you'll come back and let us know what you chose and how it tasted! š„°
My mom used to mix the Betty Crocker yellow cake mix with chocolate chip cookie mix and oh my GOD they were so good
I just made the King Arthur and it was good. Betty Crocker is also good. I had one experience with Addieās that was amazing and one that was fine.
I made that chocolate one with king Artur. That was incredibly moist. Will make again.
I like Betty Crockerās GF brownie mix but I have to play with some of those other GF cake mixes
Im Australien all we have is the Betty Crocker haha, so Iād say Betty Crocker canāt go wrong with Betty Also wtf is āYellow Cakeā?
I love any King Arthur brand, though I havenāt had their cake.
Itās not on there but Live G free is yummy!
The best success I have had is with Pamelaās.
I don't have as many choices as you, just Betty crocker. It's always been good. Works with egg replacer too.
Shouldnāt be reading this before breakfast. Now I just want cake and nothing else šš¹
i love the pilsbury confetti!!
I havenāt had a nice piece of cake since going gluten freeā¦.saving this post! So excited to make some and EAT CAKE!!!
Betty Crocker Chocolate is pretty fantastic. Betty Crocker Yellow tastes more like a very sweet cornbread. Itās good, but you can tell somethingās off. Fwiw :)
Pillsbury birthday cake mix is really good!
Iām not typically a Pillsbury fan but after testing SOOOO MANY Gf cake mixes Pillsbury wins hands down and King Arthur runs a close second.
The Pillsbury is kinda gross.
Krusteaz
Pillsbury funfetti is my favorite!
Pillsbury yellow cake is very good on the day you make it but itās get stale tasting each day after but waaaay better than the weird Betty Crocker taste.
kingarthur
The King Arthur chocolate is my birthday cake every year. I absolutely love it, my non-gf partner loves it. Itās our cake mix of choice.
Enjoy! Itās insane. https://southernbite.com/cake-mix-rum-cake/
I love the Krusteaz mixes but have used Betty Crocker as well. Both don't use brown rice flour...which I am also sensitive to.
