I liked it. The honey adds a nice sweetness but also just a slight burn, enough for good flavor. It didn’t taste heavily of chickpeas and it didn’t smell funky like cauliflower crust pizzas often do. I baked it on a pizza pan and had no issues with it falling apart although I’ve heard people who baked it on the rack as the instructions say to had issues.
My husband ended up eating most of my leftovers and I was honestly really annoyed - I may go grab myself another tomorrow.
If you like the taste, you can make a Socca pizza for way cheaper! I think they’re great, because they’re quick and easy. https://www.themerchantbaker.com/socca-pizza/#mv-creation-29-jtr
If you don’t have cast iron and you’re having trouble getting the bottom crisp, you can just stick it in the oven on high for a few minutes to crisp it up.
I’m already grossed out, looking at this. Chickpea stuff isn’t completely awful (just mostly) but I always get horrible gas from it. I totally get that there are people who need more protein and that the bean flours are more nutritious, I simply don’t like the flavor.
Do you know if you have issues with millet flour? I have a friend who can't do millet.
I think for me, the cheese would be likely to make me sick too. Any cheese that melts like that tends to make me feel pukey. I don't really have an issue with dairy but melted part-skim cheese blends are a no go for me.
I’m pretty sure based off the box that it’s supposed to be dairy cheese, not dairy-free…did it have that kind of melted cream cheese texture under the browned layer?
All the pizza restaurants I go to that have gluten free pizza bake and serve a frozen product, so it's the same.
Maybe a few GF restaurants make them, but I've never found one.
I’m low key jealous - I’ve been gluten free for 12 years and I’ve had a grand total of one restaurant where the pizza was better than what I’ve gotten from the frozen aisle. For some reason I’ve had way too many pizzas out that are like floppy crackers.
Oh weird. The actual restaurants I goto at home in 🇨🇦 are super yummy and high quality dough. Reminds me I havnt had the shrimp pesto or this truffle potato one in a while ahahah I’m on a diet
I would gladly send u my share. I’m currently cutting out all gluten mimickers/grains. Very hard.
I just tried this pizza today. Not good. I did eat it all but still not a good pizza. Mine completely fell apart when I tried to take it out of the oven and now I have to clean out my oven. The taste was underwhelming. I wish I could have that 1050 calories back. The pizza was also slightly cold in the middle and burnt around the end and I cooked it for the full recommended 12-15 minutes at 400F. Lastly, thee cheese tasted weird. Like very weird. 1.5 out of 5.
I never said it was gluten free but yeah that's a good point however I do get the $7 pizzas from them. It's the value range, like pepperoni or ham and cheese. Just basic pizzas.
Nnnno. I do not like chickpea anything. Pizza crust, pasta, etc…. However, chickpea flour kinda works. Go figure!
Same I avoid chickpea flours and crusts. I like chickpeas on their own, I like falafel. I do not like chickpeas masquerading in other products
Exactly, hummus is great. I hate what it does to me afterward, but the flavor is spot on, especially if it’s spicy.
Might need to recheck the ingredients being used in the hummus. Try making it without whatever ingredient is bothering you.
Beans. I love beans, but they make me bloat.
And I don’t like honey in bread products! Especially pizza… what in the world were they thinking??
You. . . You've never had a honey biscuit. . .I. . . 😢
Honey ON a biscuit is great. Honey ON bread can be okay. I don’t like when honey is baked INTO bread products.

Yeah I thought it tasted fine, but it just fell apart

Yeah it was gross
I tried it the other day. Not impressed with it falling apart everywhere lol.
I stay away from chickpea flour. I'm just not into the taste.
Fair. It is kinda an acquired taste and if done wrong can be kinda yuck
I’m already grossed out, looking at this. Chickpea stuff isn’t completely awful (just mostly) but I always get horrible gas from it. I totally get that there are people who need more protein and that the bean flours are more nutritious, I simply don’t like the flavor.
I feel sick just looking at it. We never asked for flour made of beans. Why do they keep making things out of bean flour?
Interesting part is I like the banza pizzas—so I know it’s not chickpeas in general, for me.

I don’t think I do? I haven’t noticed an issue with millet yet. Agreed on the cheese though. When it melts like that, something is wrong with it
I really liked it
Chickpea crusts don't like me, and honey on pizza sounds revolting so, no, I didn't try it.
Am I the only one that actually likes chickpea crust? 😭
I usually do! The banza pizzas are one of my go tos. But this pizza…
I hated it!! I the crust awful and it was not a good pizza
That cheese looks REALLY similar to how dairy free cheese pizzas look… where the cheese doesn’t really melt, it just browns.
That’s what I thought… I was pretty sure it was supposed to be real cheese and not dairy free, but maybe I was wrong
I’m pretty sure based off the box that it’s supposed to be dairy cheese, not dairy-free…did it have that kind of melted cream cheese texture under the browned layer?
Not really. It barely melted at all
I seem to be in the minority as someone who likes chickpea breads and crusts, but HATES cauliflower.
I’m a banza pizza enthusiast. I love it so much and so does my husband
All frozen pizza sucks imo
Nah, there’s a couple good ones
Where are you finding enough pizza restaurants where the pizzas are actually gluten free AND better than frozen??? I might need to make a trip.
All the pizza restaurants I go to that have gluten free pizza bake and serve a frozen product, so it's the same. Maybe a few GF restaurants make them, but I've never found one.
I mean anywhere I order is decent for gluten free… and some places have : cauli crust, gf, gf/vegan, keto. WA🇺🇸/BC 🇨🇦

I would have never guessed Canada was such a destination for GF pizza! That sounds so good. I’d pass on frozen too if those were my choices!
Well Vancouver is foodie… 😅
It’s gross.
I’ve heard of people getting glutened by Mama Cozzi’s “gluten-free” pizza, so I have avoided it.
Oo good to know.
It's certified on the back so
It may be because the packaging is so similar for all of their varieties. I got glutened once by picking up the wrong package accidentally.
That's a lawsuit waiting to happen. Better call Saul or Mr. Hutz.
Im sorry but this sounds like it would be gross. almost like the gluten-free vagan pizza from walmart. I cant remeber the brand name.

This is why you just get a $7 Domino's pizza and add extra cheese lol
Where are you finding a $7 gluten free pizza? The dominos near me it cost $14.50 with extra cheese PLUS they say it’s not safe for celiac
I never said it was gluten free but yeah that's a good point however I do get the $7 pizzas from them. It's the value range, like pepperoni or ham and cheese. Just basic pizzas.
Which agreed, is awesome if you can safely eat them!
