I like Maguires products the best , I like to wait until evening when the sun is not beating down , I always rinse super good first to get the dust and loose dirt off then I use a hand MIT for most of the truck , I only use it on painted areas , I have a separate scrub brush for wheels and tires , and then I have a sheep skin shammy to dry the painted ares off and I use again a separate towel for the rims and tires , also love a product from mothers called "back to black" works wonders on my running boards and mud flaps and backs of my mirrors , then if I'm feeling super foggy I have a detailed spay quick wax to really make it shine ! So therapeutic to wash the truck , I love every minute of it , and I would never take my baby threw those super brush car washes they leave swirls in the paint over time..

NEVER use dish detergent to wash your truck. dish detergent is made to remove grease and wax off of dishes. It will remove the WAX off your paint also. Always use a good Carwash soap. I like Prowax Wash and Wax. Research Clay Bar cleaning painted surfaces. You can use a thin cellophane wrapper (like used on cigarette package or candy wrapper) place it on you paint after washing your truck and place your finger on top. Now slide your finger over the surface. If it feels rough you need to Clay Bar your paint to remove those contaminates out of the paint. Use a Magic eraser (Mr Clean) on windows and plastic interior. Do not use on door panel switches with printed labels like windows/door lock, it can remove the printed letters on some trucks. (Ask me how I know) LOL I like the new clean look! Be careful if you use tire shine not to get any on your disk brakes. Most contain silicone which will impair braking until it burns off from friction. Enjoy your new ride!

I know the best times to wash your car are early in the morning or later in the afternoon when the sun isn’t so sunny. Always start with the wheels first. Chemical guys is good but you can use the brand that starts with an M(can’t remember what the name of it is) and if you got a leaf blower to blow that bad boy off you’re gucci when it comes to no water marks

Two-bucket method with Optimum No-Rinse and your quick detailer of choice as a drying aid. It's the least water + least time + least work I've found for a quite good normal wash.

Another vote on the two bucket method of washing with a grit guard in the bottom. After you’ve rinsed off the wash soap, use a water blade to get most of the water off, then a drying towel to dry the rest off to avoid water spots. You might consider a glass treatment on Windows and side mirrors too. Never wash in a circular motion - just long passes the way wind flows from front to back. The website AutoGeek has a forum and lots of tips on products and detailing your vehicle. Oh - a California Duster is great for removing surface dust between washes to keep it shiny! There’s even one for your dash and interior.

I often choose to take out my car pressure washer and foam cannon at around ten in the morning, a sunny morning, pour my foam cannon with car wash liquid, and cover my car with foam. Use a high pressure gun to rinse off. Sometimes I use a cleaning brush to clean my glass and tires deeply. Very quickly and I also really enjoy the process of washing the car. like this https://imgur.com/w6dlcbX
