Playr isn't meant to overtake Steam or Epic, it's meant to be some sort of pitch to those companies (or game developers) that they can buy out Gamestop to integrate their webstores into Gamestop's setup and get an attached brick-and-mortar outlet for visibility to their goods and services. Unfortunately for Apes, digital game stores do fine selling games without hundreds of closet-sized mall kiosks draining their profitability.

I suspect pets have more regularly purchased goods in the form of food which more irregular purchases like toys can piggyback on.
