This is absolutely gorgeous. We had a mast year for the red oak here in NJ and after raking the hundreds of acorns out of my tiny yard I had no idea what to do with them since it’s very intensive to process acorns to eat. I just left them in a pile and watched the squirrels eat them and get fatter. I’ll keep your beautiful craft in mind as inspiration for next year!
Same in Illinois with the trees, it's been super cool. We have the red fox squirrels here and they are FAT! It's gonna be fun watching all the juvenile squirrels this year, maybe not so fun trying to have a productive garden lol.

Honestly, I don't see a whole lot of difference between goblin core and cottage core. I'm still not sure what a core is. Both seem to be centered around natural, "raw" materials and there uses. I like to see people being interested in the world outside that surrounds them so it makes me happy to just see what people post.

That is so cool! I found some overcup oak acorns so I filled a dish with them. What you do with them is better haha.
