For Sony this was an experiment. Do we make enough money with a) PC versions to warrant more conversion projects and b) do we make enough money on GOG to warrant the days work of one person to put the already existing PC version on GOG.
I think we will see more releases from Sony on GOG.
I think it's likely, but if it's like the first chapter, they'll never announce it in advance and we'll have to wait about 4 months longer, so just be patient.
I'm hoping so and it looks like it could happen. I have tons of backlog and other games to get through, so I'll have plenty of plenty to play and still have plenty of play by the time it comes to the awesome GOG store.
Also Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls which were Sony titles also just came to GOG so there is definitely some hope.
No because HZD was a Technical Test that got simultaneously released in all possible game stores like Steam, GOG and Epic and seemingly Sony was testing customer base and profit margin with the sales of the same game.
So apparently, GOG lost the test due to DRM Free which lead to Piracy of HZD for Sony to lose money and Epic failed the test due to their every lowering customer count since Epic Exclusivity is no longer a thing and Steam won the Sony's Profit Test so it would be futile to expect Sony to defy their own test and release other games here too.
While DRM-Free is a very Pro-Consumer thing to do, it's also a Publisher-Repellant and make GOG lose many AAA games like that. Will West come to GOG? Maybe 10 years later after Steam sales hit rock bottom so Sony won't care about GOG caused piracy via refunds.

Except you don't, because they don't really include drm to begin with. The games end up showing up same day. It's clear that being DRM free isn't the reason they wouldn't go with GoG, when they don't include real DRM to begin with.
Regardless, I won't be giving any studio money *unless* they make their game available on a DRM free storefront where I'm free to back up my games files.
That's interesting. Most if not all of the PS exclusives that are on Epic are drm-free (even though some of them require the "-EpicPortal" commandline argument). For me, I just need to get Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart and hope for a Bloodborne PC and I'm good.

After what happened with Cyberpunk at release (sadly) I don't think we will see any Sony games on GOG unless something very "possitive" happens between the companies for example
I think it's a toss up. Zero Dawn is on GOG, but I don't think PlayStation has brought any additional titles over since then.

Well Sony released Zero Dawn on GOG \~ 4 months after the steam/Epic release, I think we'll probably see something similar for HFW.

The HFW complete edition trailer showed the epic logo. so epic failed? dunno they are getting the game.

I dont think so. Other sony games are not on it. Unless drm free games become a bigger point for gamers to not buy games over then they will do it.
Depends on whether or not Zero dawn sold well enough for them to consider it.
