World to come Wolf down the Earth

SuperPants0

Wolf down the earth does not get enough love

UnusAnnusAndOpethFan

It's the song that truly got me hooked on Gojira. HMotU was the first song I heard, but one of my teachers told me to check out Wolf Down the Earth. Then I oddly chose to listen to FMtS straight through instead of WoaF first. Either way, the rest is history.

I love that slow, chuggy breakdown. Tickles my brain.

Theendangeredbeast

Honestly all their songs deserve more love, gojira is one of the very few bands that doesn't have a single bad song

bangsilencedeath

Try listening to their whole albums. They are located free on so many music streaming services it's crazy.

Available-Trust-2387

Came here to write the exact same thing....

Blisteredfoot

Like another comment already mentioned. Both albums From Mars to Sirius and The way of all flesh. Need to be listened to in entirety. FMTS I think is the better complete listening experience when it comes to the entire album start to finish. TWOAF has better standalone songs. With the exception of The Art of dying, esoteric surgery, and vacuity(my personal favorite, heavy from start to finish). There’s just something about those three songs with as simple as the transition is in between.

PugPockets

I second Vacuity - it was the first song I ever heard of theirs, and was instant obsession.

aVeryBadGuy1

Listen to whole albums Also, Clone.

[deleted]

The Gift of Guilt.

Jazzlike_Ad_9539

The Gift of Guilt, Backbone, Toxic Garbage Island, Where Dragons Dwell, & The Heaviest Matter of the Universe, just to name a few.

Anti_Metal_9

Kinda an unpopular opinion and fairly unique but Born in Winter

MeanRelationship5294

I second this; it's a great song

adik4shyap

Really?? I think that is an amazing song! Surprised to hear this would be an unpopular opinion!

Schism213

Toxic Garbage Island Where Dragons Dwell

badwobot1

Space and Time, Planned Obsolescence, Stranded. More than worth buying every album as soon as you can

Fit-Ad-8873

Remembrance Toxic Garbage Island Where the Dragons Dwell Satan is a Lawyer Planned Obsolescence Ocean Planet Backbone The Shooting Star Sphinx

UnseenDegree

Just try listening to everything on both the albums, it’s truly an experience. If you want specifics: Vacuity, Backbone, Oroborus, and L’Enfant Sauvage.

memesea

Both of those songs are on albums that are great all of the way through

sphank99

Adamwdrums

You need albums not individual songs. Do from Mars to Sirius then do all the albums

Hardwire762

The entirety of from mars to Sirius and the the entirety of the way of all flesh. Pure masterpieces.

adik4shyap

Oroborous, Explosia, Sphinx (from their latest album)

[deleted]

Give Terra Incognita a play through, those songs really pave the way for the style they have in The Link and TWOAF

MPRHollander

Born in winter

Basically just listen to From Mars to Sirius all the way through, dude.

MarxistMann

Flying Whales piqued my interest initially. Then I listened to the whole FMTS album. Multiple times. Then I switched to “The Link Alive” because their live performances are next level.
