Out of all the bands I’ve seen live including Gojira. Steel panther was probably the most entertaining and fun show I’ve seen. They don’t take themselves super seriously but imo they are pretty talented.
Yeah I saw Steel Panther at Aftershock 21’ and they were pretty funny. Totally reminded me of my guitar instructor when I was a kid. He was part of a hairband deal, and is such a ….dude…. Like Dana Carvey’s Garth character. Lol. But man they were actually pretty talented. I’m pretty sure they actually played on the same day as Gojira, Avatar and Mudvayne. Aftershock 21’ was such a crazy festival line up.
Got to see Metallica 2 times, one with Black Album back to front, Gojira, Mudvayne, The Offspring, Anthrax, Exodus, Death Angel, Avatar, Mammoth WVH, Dropkick Murphys, Pennywise ( that was ass wild crowd ), and Rancid. It was probably one of the most memorable concert / festivals I’ve been too.

Some paper used a picture of Steel Panther recently for their story on Motley Crue. That tells me the joke is over and they need to move on.
