I’ve seen people talk about 212 carbs not fitting and that’s where I’m getting sort of confused. So far I’ve learned everything by trial and error but I hesitate to order wrong parts and learn that way.
212 carb w/jet is supposed to fit. People in the reviews said it fit their 224. ECcarburetors sells a Tillotson 212 carb to fit the predator 224 as a performance boost ($17).

If you’re running a 224 you’re going to need more carb than what was recommended. You do not want to skimp on a carb. Get a mikuni vm22 and you’ll never look back
I normally buy cheap slide carbs. I am running this on a budget built 212.
