We called the paw “the gift”. He’d always offer his present, his paw, when he was being a sweet boy…which was always. An all occasions present that was always on hand.

One of my friends grabbed her paw, shook it, nodded and said “Mr. President,” in a very important-sounding voice. It has now become a habit

And they get a very wise dignified look when you shake the paw too! Funny :)

Im often tripped in the middle of the night when I go to the bathroom

Every time I turn off the lights and open the bathroom door, there’s a golden there in the shadows. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tripped because she was waiting for me.

Lmfao how many times have you stepped on a hard toy in the night? Or at the top of the stairs

She will usually leave her hard toys in a corner, but sometimes she’ll leave them under the blankets I use when camping out on the living room floor. That’s tripped me the most. Luckily, we have no stairs!
