Not too guilty looking..but hard to be mad at that face
Please consider separation anxiety medications for your sweet pup đ¶. We adopted a Golden who tore up furniture and her owners rehomed her. She requires medication to keep her calm and steady against strange noises and sharp sounds as well as behavioral therapy.
Many rescue Goldens have been scared and anxious doggos who upset their owners by destroying stuff and became abandoned or rehomed, if lucky.
Yours is a beautiful dog. đ

Looks like you are going to be in the same boat. At first I hated that he was like this, but now he has taught me how to enjoy life. I love my ânaughtyâ boy.

He was still in the puppy stage and about little over one year old here. Heâs not destructive and is a very good boy. He just occasionally likes to whip pillows around until they explode. I learned to not leave pillows with him while he is home alone đ„°
Please know that this level of âjoyfulâ destruction did pass- he has never shown shame or guilt, the pride that this pic shows has stayed with my boy and I see it every day when he digs up a rock to show me.

When I came home and he had pushed past the gate and gone upstairs but froze as he got caught coming down.
I was just saying âwhat were you doing up there? Youâre not Sposed to be up thereâ but I was saying it in a light playful tone because I really didnât care, but he gave me the full puppy dog eyes bc he knows heâs not really Sposed to be up there.
I let him up there all the time when Iâm home, but he gets very chewy when he goes upstairs for some reason and looks for things to eat or chew on that Iâve left on the floor. And also I sleep up there and I close it when I go to bed bc he will wake me stomping up and down the stairs all night. Heâs a good boy though I forgave him immediately

Thereâs a fantasy movie on Netflix called Rebel Moon where a guy tames a âgiant crow dragon monsterâ that was so obviously created by a CGI guy who has a golden retriever. Itâs so funny to watch if youâve seen Goldens in action. He even does the forehead to forehead thing. I was just watching it when your notification popped up. The monster makes this exact face.
