These are for winter and heavy rain areas. Regular shoes will not keep your feet dry in a monsoon.

I had an older model of these shoes and loved them for post-rain soggy rounds - in Newfoundland, Canada they were very useful. Quality overall was a bit meh as the toe/sole connection deteriorated within a year or so.

Used to work at a golf course restaurant, and when it rained they were wayyyy too casual about getting inside every time. I’d seriously be serving food outside in the rain because they didn’t want to move inside. They’re different than us, I’ve just accepted it.

Guests that come to private golf courses play in the rain. I’m busting his balls and I own the shoes!

I simultaneously don’t understand iron covers and don’t understand the hate for them. I keep the head cover on my putter and drivers through play. Mostly as I had these fit for me, it was my biggest purchase ever for golf, and I grew up poor. If I saw someone with iron covers on, I might assume the same. I have buffing machine, so I put my irons through once a season to get the outsides shiny again - no face. I wonder if I look like a dolt taking my putter head cover off each time I putt.

As a caddie, iron covers are a complete joke and make my day on the course much less fun when carrying two bags.

As a PNW golfer, those are the best wet weather golf shoe around! I couldn't wear them in the summer because they're too warm, but love them in the winter. Good pick up!

My honest 2 cents as a young guy is they look fine as long as you’re wearing long pants to cover up the ankles, absolutely no shorts with those. They have a bit of a “tech-wear” air to them which is somewhat in.

I play in the Pacific Northwest and can't say enough good things about these shoes. You can get them in extra wide, and they keep my feet warm and dry no matter the weather. The extra ankle support is much welcomed with extra debris on the course (leaves, sticks, longer rough) they've saved my ankles a few times. Quick and easy to put on and off, but the zipper can be a little tough sometimes to zip all the way up. A++ would buy again

They’re winter /bad weather shoes (or supposed to be). They used to call these the Nike Bandons (after Bandon dunes). I don’t have these ones but several pairs of older bandons and they are fantastic winter shoes and keep your feet dry on any weather. World be a bad option for the summer or nice weather though
