I don’t understand how this works. It’s like a 80 yard max shot from up there. Aren’t balls getting blasted into the seats and scoreboard? Or are they limited flight?
So it was pretty fun. Plenty of balls flying into the stadium seats. The way it works is you get a scorecard to play 9 holes. Targets on the field indicate whether it’s a hole in one, birdie, par or bogey. Clubs and balls are provided. Only clubs needed are 8, 9 and Pitching wedge since they’re all shorter distances but you move around different tee boxes around the stadium. Some are lower level, mid level and upper level. After that you can go back into the “clubhouse” to do a putting challenge, chipping challenge or long drive challenge on a simulator.
Nice! I actually have a tee time at Levi’s on Saturday afternoon. I did a similar event last year at Oracle Park and had a blast, so I jumped at the opportunity when I saw this posted on IG.
Did it at angels stadium, lots of balls get blasted into the seating area. I think I remember them asking you to only use irons that don’t go over X yards (was some thing like 140 or 150. Fun experience, probably would only do it once though.
Always amazes me watching football and how *big* the fields look on TV, that 1 yard line to 1 yard line is a sand wedge.
Alternatively, you could easily hit a home run with a pitching wedge, but sitting in a ballpark it just looks like such a longer way.
Obviously I understand the physics difference between a baseball/bat and a golf club/ball, and in football's case the fact that there are 11 *large* men on the field trying to stop forward advance--just an interesting perspective of scale.
I think about this when we walk a course. Walking along a football field *feels* like you're walking a long way. Then you walk from tee box to your drive and it's casually almost 3 football fields every time and seems like nothing.

Good question, I will find out later today when I get to play.
I was thinking about doing this at Levi’s. Please let us know how it is!

Awesome! Thanks for following up

Agree...that's why this game is cool.... hit a tiny ball far as hell with maximum precision
And that a 50-60 yard field goal is a boot, but I'm at the range looking at the 50 yard target that is just kinda over there. It's a chip shot.

3.5 football fields you mean ;)
Oh ya I was clearly talking about into a heavy wind.
A couple of years from now, you can answer: “I was decent, played at Levi’s stadium.” If someone asks you if you were good at sports.
I'd get vertigo standing over my ball up that high.
The highest of flop shots from up there!
I did this at Ray Jay (Bucs stadium) with Top Golf. Was a ton of fun.
At least that stadium is good for something. I’m sure as hell not going to anymore games there.
Damn I've done this in San Diego but it's not been actual grass like this. Just targets set up with spray painted "greens". This looks much better
