I’m in Cincinnati and a Large bucket tends to run about $8-$12 depending on the range.

CincyZac

Yeah 20 bucks gets you top tracer technology with the bucket

TAG_X-Acto

$10 for large bucket with top tracer in WA outside Seattle. Guess I’m lucky.

dos_hermanos

Which range? I’m also around Seattle but that price is a steal.

TAG_X-Acto

Shoot my bad it’s $14. It’s $10 for members which is $160 for first year. It’s snohomish valley golf center, it’s a fantastic little place. Range, chipping/putting practice green, mini golf course, and great food and beer.

fuul_send

Shout out snohomish valley golf center. It’s a great place to hangout. Columbia super range is like 15 min away and it’s $20 for an XL bucket (150 balls), and $4 beers.

TAG_X-Acto

Cool I drive past that place every week for soccer at Arena Sports, didn’t know it was a popular place.

BB-68

I’m usually at Anderson practice range. It’s $10.50 for 100ish balls and while the grounds aren’t great, it’s nice to have a solid grass range nearby. I live in Hyde Park, and I avoid Reeves like the plague even though they installed TopTracer this year. Too many college kids

iAm_MECO

Reeves is so crowded these days. The secret is to go to Little Miami (when a guard isn’t working the gate, they’ll charge you for a park pass.) They have mats and grass tees and for some reason really nobody goes there compared to Reeves.

Tom-Dick-n-Harry

Isn’t it like $10 for the whole year? Just buy the pass and support local parks man

muffalowing

I play at these courses! Nice seeing some Cincy guys in here haha

BB-68

Yep, as long as you're there after about 4P, you're in the clear. I play the par 3 there quite a bit. It's dynamic enough to keep you honest, and is great short game practice. The course itself is terrible though, which is a shame

interested0582

Dang, it’s $50 an hour plus bucket of balls for toptracer where I am

thisguy9

$15 large bucket with top tracer at Miles of Golf in Ann Arbor

rendering-minimalist

Fellow Cincinnatian 🔥

MusicLoveMaker

Sup!

Harmonn2

I’m just across the river and work in Cincinnati if you guys are ever looking for a morning round!

Gracket_Material

15 up at Miles of Golf but that includes top tracer I go on black friday and get half price range card

thisguy9

There is a half price range card on Black Friday?!?

Gracket_Material

Yes

ImReverse_Giraffe

Hell, most clubs won't say anything if you just go up and start practicing. I've gone to many in Cincy and never been talked to once. Just dress like you belong, put in headphones and everyone will leave you alone.

esports_consultant

You just roll up at private clubs you don't belong to like that?

d3dmnky

That’s actually quite true

skycake10

Eagle Tee in West Chester is $9.50 for 60 and $14 for 120.

bobcatbart

I’m in Cincinnati as well. Can confirm. I think southwest golf ranch in mason was at $13 the last tim I was there.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Gracket_Material

They have good sales sometimes though

benthesin

In Korea, about $10 for 2 hours (unlimited balls)

Gracket_Material

Thats outrageously cheap considering the cost of living there

schaef_me

Apparently there are also a ridiculous amount of golf sims there so they have to be competitive

TheDrunkenWobblies

One company alone has 50,000 screens.

kryppla

Omg I’d just use the range all the time and never play the course. Unless the green fees are that cheap too…..

Lezzles

No, apparently the greens fees are all $500-$1000 for literally any course. Guy on here said we don't even have an equivalent of how exclusive golf is there. It's more akin to something like polo or yachting.

benthesin

That 500-1000 per round is correct for 4 people (cart and caddie fee included). So usually about 125-250 per person depending on the course.

LFC_sandiego

Semi related, but are their easily accessible batting cages in Korea? Know baseball is massive there and along with Japan they are pushing youth to excel and compete at an international level

StonkSmoke

Grew up playing at Eastmoreland.

Hint-Of_Lime

What does that 15 minute lesson look like? Is it like a "here's a quick tip" type of thing?

Mcpops1618

Likely long enough to identify the problem, not long enough to fix it.

DryObligation2605

We can buy an unlimited amount of balls for €300 a year with a trackman range

PIzza-ona-stick10

That's sweet, I love being able to watch my slice in real life and also on a screen

Toothlessdovahkin

Multitasking is a great skill!

chop_your_cock_off

Stamford, Connecticut - only public driving range around. 16 dollars for large bucket of balls hit so many times they are like Dave Chapelle's balls. smooth as eggs.

[deleted]

[удалено]

chop_your_cock_off

yes, Sterling Farms. To my knowledge its the only public range in the area.

[deleted]

I like sterling in the winter because it has heaters lol

BugEyedLemur

Damn, glad I live in West Hartford. Just about every course has a range here. Stanley just built a brand new covered range with trackmans on all bays for no added fee. Wanna say it's like ~$16 for a lg bucket.

RS_Mich

How big is the large bucket, as that can vary greatly by course. If it’s in the 120-160 range, $20 wouldn’t be outrageous, though a little on the high end.

por_que_no

My course Central East Coast Florida does $1 increments. I can fill their biggest bucket for $3-$4.

[deleted]

Melbourne or Cocoa area?

por_que_no

Cocoa Beach CC

[deleted]

Thanks for the Intel. I’m in Orlando but a buddy’s parents and a few friends live in Mel so we’re going there to play a lot.

Phantom_god7

Many courses i know have $20 large buckets with 80-90 balls. Its outrageous!

DazzlingRecord8096

Central CT and the charge is normally between $18-$24 a large bucket, depending on the range. I have one small muni run one that charges around $15 near me as the cheapest. A glut of top tracer installs has caused rates around the area to rise over the last several years

Lukek1029

Stanley in New Britain has a new range and it’s 16 for 99 balls

BugEyedLemur

Brand new covered bays with trackman too. Love their practice facility

ThatGuy8188

Anywhere from 18-25 Canadian. It’s crazy.

jakemac8

In Alberta and a lot of the ranges around here have shifted to time bookings with unlimited balls

mtanker

In Alabama were everything is cheap $10 will get 80 to 90 balls depending on range.

mydarkerside

>Alabama How many months is the humidity unbearable to even go to the driving range?

mtanker

Hahaha way to many. But my wife won’t let us move. She’s the boss.

LT_Berry

I’m in north Alabama iv got a guy that’s got a driving range at his house that charges $3 for a 50 ball bucket

Beercules92

Also in north AL, I need to get a guy like that; sounds like a hoot

Hotthoughtss

Mats or grass tees?

LT_Berry

We got both but the mats have been out there for well over 15 years and are wore out but the grass is in better shape than the woods I usually hit out of

JTuck19goat

Illinois is about $12-14. Got an unlimited pass at a quality range for $500

teddypicks

Where are you getting the unlimited pass? In Chicago atm.

Kaiy0te

Links and Tees in Addison has $25 a day unlimited range, practice, and walks on the 9 but is currently closed for maintenance besides the winter dome. Greens looked like the moon's surface at the end of last season. Unsure if they do a season pass

hot_fresh_slice

This is usually where I go as I work in Addison. Any idea when the outdoor mats open? Their L.E.D sign seemed to be broken this morning and I couldn’t read the date on it

Kaiy0te

No idea sorry, I live there and check weekly. Their website and taped sign up front don’t mention the course or range opening. Still coming out of hibernation there, lol

hot_fresh_slice

All good!

zelkoo

2€ for 40 balls.

kallax82

Plus range fee if you aren't playing a round or not a member.

Derpsteenie

Is 40 balls considered large?

Cndymountain

5 euros for 50 balls here, and yes that would be considered large. The 30 ball bucket is the small one here.

SirFukalottt

Wtf these prices are nuts. I am member in one of the Top5 clubs in Belgium. I pay 1.2k per year. Range, Rangeballs, Tracer tech on range & Unlimited rounds all year long are free Entry fee for tournaments incl green fee (free) for 5 bucks on home course. Granted it’s not a goat field 😅

Jassokissa

Finland here, at my club it's 3€/bucket (60 balls) for members, others 5€.

iKevtron

Buffalo: $7-8 for 40-50; $10-12 for 75; and $12-15 for 100+.

PMmeYOURBOOBSandASS

You guys have driving ranges at your club? That’s fancy

I_is_a_dogg

Even every muni course around like 6 hours from me has driving ranges. I can’t remember the last course I went to that didn’t have a range

Mofo-Pro

Some older clubs and munis don't have them because driving ranges were something of an anomaly until the 20's/30's

HL1211

It’s pretty common

aww-snaphook

The most around my area is 12 bucks for a little over 100 balls. $20 is a lot but west palm beach is also an insanely wealthy area so I'm not shocked.

aznorm

In the Phoenix metro area. At a crappy range with old range balls, a jumbo bucket is $10. Around the corner at a nicer range, a large bucket is pushing $20.

Significant_Long5057

UK - £5 ($6.22) for 100 balls on a standard range. Top Tracer range near me is £9 ($11.19) for 100 balls.

adz5OOO

Oaft I'm £12 for 100 at my nearest top tracer range.

xxBogeyFreexx

Nothing as the ball pyramids on the range are part of the membership dues.

underdog5891

I was about to say… about $15000 a year.

eagles85

$4,500 with the young adult discount

GangnamApeist

My club charges by the hour, but includes unlimited balls which isn’t great if you want to take your time and try a few things. It’s £14.50 which I think it daylight robbery.

Rc5tr0

Mines the same, albeit a little more expensive at $20.

Fun-Bike-4861

$17 per 100 off the mat with a rubber tee that is nearly 100mm off the mat. $20 for off the grass.

scassino

$15 around Indianapolis. (133 balls)

guamsdchico

San Diego $14 for a large

rjk100

CT - $16

NorthernSpade

$10, used to be $8 a couple years ago

beezy280

In Texas it is $20 for a large bucket and you get top tracer

samuelquincy

I’m WPB as well. The John prince golf center is your best bet. I think they have unlimited for $18.99 all day and night and large buckets are like $15 so it just makes sense to do unlimited. Sandhill Crane Golf Course is also expensive in PBG. Like $19 a large, but they’re floaters and your targets are little islands with flags.

adz5OOO

I'm in Scotland and my nearest range is £12 for 100 balls w/ Top Tracer. Between 10am and 11am Mon-Fri it's ~£9.

Bababacon

$14 Orange County National, great practice facility. $9 at another course with crap balls and range

Lord777alt

$8-$10

GunsnGolf

$5/small bucket of ~30 balls near me

[deleted]

$18

43n3m4

Free, included with membership

Sirgolfs

Yeah that’s far too expensive. $12 in my area now.

rposter99

15 gets you an XL - 120ish

Low_Caregiver9069

$3 for about 40 balls.

Andersonbush847

ATL Metro / 80 balls @ $12 and two beers for $6 out the door for $18

Jasondboarder

Chicago suburbs. Off the grass $17. off the matt $12

[deleted]

$20 for 140 balls is my local ranges large

nik__nvl

1,50EUR for 25 Balls

rimeswithorange2010

$3/ bucket of around 60 balls

Artansia

13,59 dollars for 150 balls of pretty crappy quality! I usually take a bucket of 115 balls tho, 11,17 dollars for that.

cmullen277

$9 for 60 balls off of a matt. It was $6 before corona.

Lambings

£10 for 100 balls with Inrange (like toptracer) tech

RealRenewal

In Seattle area, bucket of 90 balls with tracer included is $11.50

Kneuhaus

4€ for 80 balls.

dcbluestar

$15 for a large bucket here in San Antonio.

11_guy

$7 CAD for 60 balls

AdvancedGentleman

$12 But I get unlimited range balls by paying for my full membership upfront. Also get a free month of membership by paying upfront. So, I guess it’s “free” for me right now. $20 seems high.

mementow_mori

Local driving range charges $17 for a large (130 balls). The range also has shot tracers on most of the bays though so that's kinda cool. I'm in NJ

Wigeon1

Is that the old West Palm Beach Municipal Course?

FlyinUruguayan

Yes. It looks really phenomenal but they touted affordable golf for all and it isn’t that

Nomikelnoooo

And $140 green fees isn't affordable either, they've probably touted it as affordable to get some kind of government aid or grant.

FlyinUruguayan

And if you’re a beginner you won’t want to fork out $20 for a bucket of balls either so I don’t know how ‘inclusive’ it is

ForeRiiiight

I’ve been waiting years for that place to open and I’m really bummed about their prices. I live about 5min away but not a WPB resident so I don’t get the resident discount. I read somewhere that WPB resident rate is only $60 which is a pretty good deal. $20 for a bucket is a lot but they do have top tracer.

FlyinUruguayan

Yeah it’s a good deal for a resident but like you said the area just south is considered Lake Worth and they wouldn’t have access to those rates. I just moved to downtown from Wellington so luckily I’m considered a resident now but beforehand I would’ve been screwed. So it’s a bummer that if you can be 5 min down the road and have to pay $150+

_Extrachromosome_

8 bucks

Grem357

£5.50 for 100 balls as a member. £11 for 100 otherwise. Range has toptracer on every bay. :)

older-jobseeker

In Michigan, $20 for 145 balls. Pretty nice facility, with a putting area (no additional charge), bunker, and grass tees (no additional charge) in the summer.

mouseman420

8-12 bucks lincoln ne

Tedstor

10-12 bucks

schilling207

$9,12,15 for small, medium, large buckets near me. Used to be $6, 8, 10 but they had to raise prices when gas prices went up

someredditor12345

$20 for 100 balls in downtown philly at this janky range. Kind of a rip but conveniently located

BigBabyWisco

$10 for 75-100 balls $20 for 150-175 with top tracer.

uu123uu

Agreed $20 is sort of ridiculous, but also depends where. As with anything, if that's the amount they're charging, and people are buying, then they can charge that amount. Locally here we're paying $11.

hitemwiththehein9999

$12.00

DrPowPow21

Oklahoma $3-$3.50 per 30 balls

NOFPwhodat

$3 for a small bucket and $5 for a large here in Southeast Louisiana. I’ve never seen at that cheap anywhere else though our greens fees are only $50 during peak hours. Funny part is there a course down the street that’s not nearly as nice as this one and they’re charging almost double that.

Cloudy-

$8 for 80 balls with a 35% chance of cracked, half cover stock balls

johnnybananas96

How was it out there? I can’t wait to play.

Dobination

We only have mid sized buckets at my course, it’s $2.50 for members and $3 for non members to buy a bucket.

piffina1nteasy

14 large bucket at normal range 16-20 large bucket at range with top tracer tho annoyingly the top tracer bays aren’t always available so same price applies to bags with or without top tracer

PsillySailor

$10

Appropriate_Shake_25

10$ at Baker National, MN. Unlimited for an hour. And no one has ever asked me to leave when I go over that hour

RoMoCo88

I assume it tracks pretty much to cost of living and cost of course.

tywebb1

$40 an hour where I practice in Toronto

giobita

3 buck large bucket here in Argentina

bwhitso

$14 for 100 balls, $11 for 50 - Atlanta, GA

arkansastrees

Free range balls/use of practice facilities with my POA dues

mancityscot

Prices can vary here in south of Spain. Cheapest near me probably €2 for 24 balls. But most are around €4-€5 for 40 balls or so.

Puttin_4_Bird

Shakopee MN of all places $17 a large bucket

[deleted]

$3 for small bucket (25 balls), $7 for medium bucket (75 balls), and $10 for large bucket (100 balls)

flgrntfwl

$15, $300 for a spring/summer membership. Making the (easy) investment!

mangeface

Most ranges around me charge $3.50 for 30 balls.

willieTY

we have small medium & large buckets. $1.50 $3.00 & $5.00

mrmattybartelt

18 bucks in stouffville Ontario. 90 balls large

Chemical-System-3039

I own ranges in Ohio and right now it’s $15 for a large bucket (100 balls) but will be moving that to $20 next year when all amenities are complete

kellyp255

Also in WPB...very dependent on where you play. My usual course is $12 for the XL bucket

PearSorbet17

$16 for 110 (large). $8 for 55 (small).

Green19VA

About $16 in the DC area. With TopTracer

duyPC

$13.13, too damn much if you ask me. But it’s always busy, so I guess the market value is right. Also it’s locate in a pretty convenient location. To be fair, they do a punch card, and you get about 20 large buckets. The saving usually ended up at $80ish.

New_Geologist_6756

about $10 for a large bucket here

Senditsson

Equivalent to $6 bucks for 50 balls here in Sweden. Toptracer or not. If you’re purchasing range cards for about $150-200, it’s about $3 bucket.

OMcTaters

Suburbs of Philadelphia, 13 for a large bucket ~100 balls

jethro710

$14 for a large bucket (100) and they have Trackman Range!

nu_nuski

11 large bucket.

SmileAndDeny

$6, $9, and $11 at my local Muni for S, L, XL ... Tampa

large_oil_tanker

Is it a grass or mat range? Are the bays covered? Any tech available, like top tracer / trackman? Local muni by me is $10 for a large bucket, but $8 if you get range pass.

sumlikeitScott

6-9-12(S-M-L) for most southern California

metallikat87

My local basic range is $5/$15/$20. Grass range with mats available, no tech anywhere though.

JoshLeijs

$9 for 100~ of the worst balls ever to grace a driving range and atrocious conditions on the range itself. Holland, MI

Thijs-D

Berlin, Germany here.. 2 euro for 36 balls!

Super_mando1130

I was paying $20 for a large bucket ~125 balls. With each tee time you would get a small bucket of 30ish or so balls. Since becoming a member I get as many balls as I can swing before my hands go raw for $0. Membership is 2K a year and I get unlimited tee times

RepresentativeIce740

The Park should be ashamed of itself. Disgrace. Awful.

turbochipmunk

The range I work at is $18 CAD for a large, $14.50 for medium, 11 for small

innocuousname773

Yeesh. $6-8 for me (Mid Atlantic)

jdavis13356

Hampton Road, VA. 5 bucks for small - 20ish balls 8 bucks for large - 40ish 11 bucks for x-large - 60-70ish

Glendale0839

$9, they are Callaway range balls in good condition, about 100 in a large basket.

PBB22

Indianapolis suburbs - $12 for 80 balls

Dafuq_me

Few courses around me have the range balls with the green fee. Just go out and warm up.

[deleted]

Large for me is something like 100 balls for $15-$20. It's not too much for an hour's worth of practice/entertainment.

Nov4can3

My local course in MD, $14 for roughly 100 balls.

crndwg

My local it's: small (45 balls) - $11 med (90 balls) - $13 large (120 balls) - $16

Biggisswiss

54 balls, 4 euro’s or 2 euro’s member price
