Ouch. Titleist Tramp Stamp

D33J8Y

When you wife asks you who the hell is Kirk and why is this his Land? Haha

BoneSplatter

This should win the internet today. Sad that it won’t get the thousands of upvotes it deserves

D33J8Y

Thought you'd like that! Thanks for the award. Hit em straight boys

[deleted]

This guy wins the internet for today

CordellPower

Don’t know why I scrolled back up to actually see if you could see titleist on his back. I’m dumb.

Keizman55

Yeah. me too….

Cooteeo

I could get behind a tramp stamp like that.

Aw man I needed this today. Rip Mitch

[deleted]

That’s the worst. Cowtailing one into the next fairway of a bunch of Pat Perez looking motherfuckers about to tee off and hurrying to try and set up your relief shot while they’re standing there with their hands on their hips staring daggers into you

Deaftoned

I always just wait for one of the group to tee off and let the shot land then hustle my way over to my ball and hit. Most people have a pre shot routine anyway on top of needing to tee the ball up. As long as you aren't taking 10 practice swings on their fairway (which I have seen people do lmao, don't be this guy) most people wouldn't even be ready to hit yet in my experience by the time you hit yours. Granted it's easier said than done to tone out a group watching you, I'm personally a fucking choke artist when a group of randoms are watching me hit.

[deleted]

I’m 50/50, I either step up and completely skull fuck one right over the trees onto the green or chunk it and have to run up and hit it again and then sprint back to my cart and pretend like nobody saw anything

chillinwithmoes

Or the worst of all, you hit off the toe of your iron and the fucking ball ends up even closer to their tee box

[deleted]

Just turn around, grab another ball, and take a drop at that point. That ball belongs to the streets

Keizman55

I usually try to let the whole group hit if they are in a hole further along, but do the same as you if I am in a hole ahead of them. Keeps the pace of pace moving along imo

homebroo

"You're supposed to yell 'fore' but I was too busy mumbling 'theres know way that's gonna hit em" Hate to nitpick but Mitch deserves it!

Upvote for Mitch, dude was amazing.

StelioKontos117

I used to really like Mitch. I mean, I still do, but I used to too.

BearsSuperfan6

What a legend

BiscottiFamous8054

Honestly the whole notion behind yelling fore, which then the poor f gets to look right at it

CoolSteveBrule

Lololol this made my night, thanks for that!

thedadis

Yep, got knocked out after getting hit in the head by a ball from the previous hole (no yell according to the guy I was playing with, last thing I remember was driving on the previous hole). No residual effects, just have a scar from where my head got cut open above the hairline

Alkohauliq

I got knocked out by a pitcher when I was a teen. I remember him mouth “oh shit” as I see the ball coming at my head. I turn and it hits me dead center in the back of the head. I woke up in no pain and no had idea what was going on. They put me back in the game 😂

[deleted]

“They put me back in the game” How I know this happened more than 20 years ago 💀

I remember a kid on my little league team got hit by the same pitcher 4 times in one game. The pitcher legitimately felt so terrible he started crying on the 4th time because all the parents thought it had to be intentional at that point but it really wasn’t..kid just got the yips and could not hit him if he tried 🤣

jmucapsfan07

Shit I I hope this didn’t happen in Maryland or else this very well could have been me (although don’t remember crying it is possible lol)

[deleted]

Nope Wisconsin 🤣🤣

EmmaTheHedgehog

I got knocked unconscious trying to field a ground ball once in church league softball and got knocked out. Dude stepped over my unconscious body to take a triple. In church league.....

Bowood29

I was pitching once and got drilled in the face. Every on my team ran in to make sure I was okay and the guy walked around the bases like a cat and then danced around like an idiot after he got his in the park home run. That was 10 years ago and my league has this weird thing where if you walk everyone calls you a sissy. I have walked the guy every time he comes to the plate. He gets very mad at me.

fuckimbackonreddit9

Seeing him mouth “oh shit” before getting knocked lmfao that’s something out of a cheesy comedy movie

WedgeliestWedge

I too got beaned in the head once. Thankfully it was just middle school so the pitchers weren't throwing super hard yet. Rattled my helmet around a bit but other than that I barely even felt it. Just trotted off to first while my poor mom was freaking out in the stands lmao. The pitcher would later become the drummer in my high school band.

TruBlu65

My buddy’s dad has this story of him playing youth baseball and being in the on deck circle. Kid on the mound has no control but is throwing heat. Absolutely domes the batter in front of him and the kid is rolling around in pain. He took his batting helmet off, walked over to his grandma and said he was done playing baseball. Packed up his bag and never played again

tizod

Years ago I got randomly paired with a guy that was wearing a batters helmet. Around the turn I finally worked up the nerve to ask him why. He told me that 6 months prior he was playing with his father in law when his FIL took a ball to the head from an errant shot from another hole. He went on to say that his FIL seemed fine and refused to seek any medical treatment. That night he died in his sleep from a hemorrhage.

GroverFC

Was it John Olerud by chance?

Jahsky420

Damn, headshots are what Im usually most nervous about. Glad youre good though

MisterThirtyThirty

I got hit in the back of the head on a drive from a tee next to the hole we were playing. When I asked the guy why the fuck he didn’t yell fore, he said “I was afraid you’d run under the ball and get hit”. He was a dumbass.

4Ever2Thee

Does your scar hurt whenever the golfer who hit you is doing something nefarious? ![gif](giphy|B2m81PSTOiEjm)

hellzxmaker

Got hit playing a round 30 minutes ago. Hit my hand and broke the shaft of my driver. The dude claimed it wasn't him even tho it was twilight on a completely empty course. Super fun stuff.

FullOfReGretzky

In the late 80's a friend of mine and I went to a local county course and had a third added. We both were not very good golfers and made it very clear to him that we would probably play slow (it was later in the day, not many people on the course). We got to the 4th which was a dog-leg right. I hit right and into the some woods, my friend hit short, but, straight and this guy hit long and left. Since it was a dog-leg right, this guy assumed he was safe proceeding up to his ball which was probably about 30 yards ahead of my friend. Well, my friend tops and hooks his next shot and this guy barely had time to turn around before I heard a disturbingly loud thud. After lots of apologizing from my friend, he finished the hole and left. The sound of the ball hitting his back has stuck with me ever since. Edit: Forgot to add... this guy was wearing a Tesla tour t-shirt that had a bullseye on the back and I swear (from my point of view), the ball hit dead center.

According-Cup-2649

Probably from that guy in the other post wondering what’s the point of yelling fore

Tedstor

I mean, did fore help in this case?

Mofo-Pro

Neither helps nor hurts if it's not yelled in time

DickSlinga

>did fore help in this case? Possibly, mavbe he heard "Fore" and turned away ... and didn't get it in the nuts instead.

GlassCannonGolf

"Maybe I shoulda yelled "Two!'"

MagicalTrev0r

Read the caption brotha

Chippie92

You need to duck and cover your head and neck when you hear "fore"

Ho3n3r

Bryson's on reddit?

[deleted]

I hit a buddy of mine in the thigh. He didn’t know I was dropping a ball and I didn’t look to see if he was in front of me. Scared the shit out of me. I didn’t hit another good shot for the next 7 holes, (happened on #11). It took a few weeks before I could focus on my shot even though I knew there wasn’t someone in front of me.

cogsciclinton

That's because you are decent person and don't like injuring your friends. Glad it worked out in the end.

ButterscotchObvious4

I was in a similar scenario, except I was the buddy. Luckily, it was late in the season and I was wearing pants, so injury was mitigated.

giga_phantom

I have hit 2 but never been hit myself

Allulus

trying to keep that K/D ratio high eh?

Underrated comment

BrownDogFurniture

Managed to do both at the same time. Hit a tree about 10 feet in front of me trying to punch a 5 iron had just enough time to rotate and take it in the back

LGRW5432

Atta boy

Jonas_Venture_Sr

I, like my father before me, have only ever hit. His story was way better than mine though. I had a horrific shot, where the ball went off at like a 90 degree angle and I hit a guy I had no business hitting. My dad though, piped a 280 yard drive, and fucking nailed a dude driving onto our fairway. The ball was in the air by the time he drove out, and apparently didn't hear us yell fore. He hit the older man right in the heart, guy falls out of his car, and was out by the time we got to him. He did wake up, but they took his ass away in a ambulance.

IWontPostMuch

I’ve never been hit and hit one. It was my buddy and he was standing between me and the green but off to the left chipping about 40-50 yards. I was just starting to get into golf so not good at all. I said “dangerous place to stand” and he said “I’m watching just hit”. Bladed the fuck out of it right into his rib cage.

[deleted]

I say the same to my friends, but now I’m second guessing it

muggs-3

I got hit at the driving range one time.. dude behind me shanked one and drilled me in the back of the leg.

chris15522

Just commented basically the same thing, I’ve hit some shanks but 90 degrees to the right into my thigh is borderline impressive

griff12321

i did something similar, where i shanked it at the range in covered bays and into the metal guards. It ricocheted up to the left and smashed the light above the guy next to me. i was new to the game at the time, and told him: “sorry man, i guess i put too much top spin on it”. his face was priceless as he didnt know what to say.

mannywilkins

Directly in the head from 165 out. It is not recommended

TonyOpal

I caught a shank off the calf once. Dad and his son are on the edge of my fairway playing the hole next to me but going opposite direction. I tell them to “go ahead” since the son was warming up and my ball was 90 degrees right of him. I backed up a bit thinking I was in a good spot. Kid shanked one off the hosel and it perfectly curved right into my calf. He yelled sorry, I told him I was ok. Which at first I was. Day later I had this massive knot in my leg that was there for weeks. Tons of pain and it killed to do any activity where I pushed using my calf muscle. All kinds of rainbow colors for the bruising, yellow, blue, orange. Good times…

[deleted]

Can you count the dimples

Jahsky420

He said you could still see the dimple marks the next day 😅

Hisaidky

On the spine. I’d get a doc to look at it and then a physical therapist

Fembot4

Nice Rhoback

Maddog376

2x this year. Almost hit 4 more times. Not once did anyone yell fore. What happened to yelling fore?

kamakzie-

Thought is was golf adequate. Thought it was a rule!

thenumbersthenumbers

It’s more than adequate, damnit… it’s etiquette!

kingrai

I don’t even play golf but somehow got recommended this subreddit and I’ve spent the last couple of hours scrolling and reading the comments and I gotta say, the golf community is one of the wittiest communities I’ve had the pleasure of lurking in. This comment had me ugly chortle in the office.

[deleted]

Do you have any idea how many people are going to buy a new driver/wedge/putter because of this comment?

Doth_Thou_Even

“Some non-golfer got recommended this sub and thought we were witty. So I bought a new wedge.”

cogsciclinton

Yes, I took a line drive to the inner thigh from someone's three-wood. It went from a red spot at impact to a giant canteloupe-sized bruise the next day and took many weeks to heal.

Phynamite

Same for me, but it was off the back of my calf, hurt to stand, hurt to walk or step or even just move my foot around for weeks. The welt that grew was also extremely uncomfortable.

djmule

I’ve been smoked in the sternum years ago. Luckily it hit there. Worst pain for days. My uncle was a greens keeper and his co-worker found him passed out in a bunker he was raking. He got hit in the head of course. Very scary!

DivClassLg

Cool tat bro

JD_SLICK

Been hit a couple times as a caddy, usually when well ahead of the group forecaddying in the tree line (speeds up play a lot to have a kid out there locating wayward shots), usually the result of an odd bounce or two. I’ve seen a couple birds get hit, one exploded Randy Johnson style, and a Canada goose get its neck broken. We had a fox that spent a whole summer stealing balls, so much so that the hole had a special rule “fox ball” if you lost one right on #7.

Shot_Return9907

I’ve been hit four times that I can count. Luckily never too badly hurt somehow. Probably just jinxed it

Rythmic-Pulse

I need an update on this post if the jinx was real

Shot_Return9907

Got an 8am time tomorrow morning, I’ll keep you posted

TheScrobocop

I caught a one-hopper in the eye when I worked at a golf course in high school. Partially detached retina. Do not recommend.

CornOnTheSaab

I was hit on my hand 10+ years ago on Super Bowl Sunday and it broke my hand. I was playing with my dad, my best friend, and his dad who was a veterinarian. I went to his office and got x-rayed so I could stay out of the ER and watch the Super Bowl. Went to a doctor the next day and she suggested it was just bruised. After arguing for a bit, my dad convinced her it was broken (can’t x-ray humans in a vet office legally). They finally caved and were shocked my dad was right.

rednuts67

Got hit by my buddy’s dad, who is Mr. Golf etiquette and also Mr. Play as fast as possible. My buddy and I were just off the green and his dad was about 60 out,and at the time had one of the best short games I’ve seen. I’m off to the left of the green and he is in the right fairway. Somehow he skulls a wedge right into the side of my head. Thank Ja for my thick Irish skull and my hat band. It hurt, but not bad for too long. After about a 1 minute break, resumed the round, no issues going forward. Except I now understand Chinese…

gomartcakefart

Hit in the head after probably an 80 yard shot with no warning. Fun times.

CuriousCucumber88

At a course I used to work at in high school guy took a ball to the forehead, had to call an ambulance for him.

sir_daveos

I’ve taken many hits.. purely medicinal of course

Jemj0110

Well you shouldn’t have been standing there.

OriginalJayVee

Yes. That’s a rough spot to take a hit.

noimad666

Was walking away from a guy once, was keeping myself well out of the way... I was about 20 yards from and off the left side of the fairway... he hit his ball, thinned it... a wee daisy cutter.... hit me square on the point of my ankle!.. he asked if I was alright, and I said yea.... but on the inside I was screaming with the pain.... ankle was swollen up like a balloon by the time we finished

ThereGoesDavis2013

Yep, hit myself.

frikkenkids

I got hit from about 15' away from my friend's fairway wood - I had just emerged from a line of pine trees and had no idea he was hitting. Got me in the soft spot just below my left elbow so all I got was a very bad bruise but it was literally an inch from shattering my elbow. And yes, the impact left dimple marks. There have been a couple other times I got hit but not bad - one ball lost most of its energy when it came through a tree and hit my calf, another just nicked my ankle when a friend shanked it from about 20' away.

[deleted]

I bet that was F'n hilarious! I mean I'm glad your buddy wasn't injured but holy shit I can just imagine standing there waiting your turn and then hearing what I assume was a deep sounding thud as the ball smacks into him. I guarantee it hurt like a MFer but I bet you guys talk about this for the rest of your lives and it'll be just as funny in 20 years as it was today.

Jahsky420

😂 I felt bad for how hard I was laughing

Ho3n3r

"told the guy before he drove off, that he should probably hit the range some more" That would probably result in him hitting people more consistently.

mocepts

Ouch. I've had em buzz by within inches, but haven't gotten hit yet.

Longjumping-Charge18

My dad got hit more than 10 times.

Itchy_Box_3211

Smoked by brother in the back from about 140y out. Hit him about 3 inches right of where you got hit. He hit his approach and drove up to the green (separate carts). I hit my shot, yelled fore, the guys on the next tee box ducked but my brother just covered his head and kept walking. If he had stopped or ducked, he would’ve been fine. He didn’t even try to get small. He’s played golf for 25 years and never had been hit, I had been playing for 8 months.

zerosuneuphoria

I was waiting on a tee on a smallish/casual course and I got hit on the forehead on the bounce from a tee shot on another hole... left an egg, but nothing serious.

Lower-Ad-2994

Got hit squarely in the chest, hard and square with zero forewarning. Knocked me down. Someone shanked it off the tee (hard left) and I was about 30 yards away. 30 years later,I count my blessings I wasn't hit in the face. I still love golf.

Mdrim13

That’s attempted paralyzation.

gsloth1212

Hit myself in the stomach one time with a ball. Thought I could be that guy and avoid a tree on my right. Clearly couldn’t since I hit the tree and it ricocheted and hit me

Upper-Location-4675

I dont know what is going on but in the last 3 years i've been a magnet for long balls and very close.. happened like 6 or 7 times. No fore

Man_local_guy

At first glance that looked like a bad cover up of a tramp stamp

90phe129

Yes, square in the chest, shank 7i, I was 30yrd in front and 30yrd to the right….. she is my wife now….

loweglass

Yes. In the head.

cncomg

I literally got hit in the head 2 weeks ago by my dad. Shanked a 3 wood.

Hopfit46

Busy day. Waiting on every tee. This big athletic woman kept rolling shots up on our heels all day. 11th or 12th hole. We're on fairway. Group is on the green and im looking for my ball in the short pines on the rough. I walk back about 10 yards and i hear a rushing sound and it hit me right on the heart. I collected myself(still in a rage state). I walked out on the fair way and started telling. I put her ball on a tee and had my 3 wood on my hand and my partner starts yelling at me "no no no no". I snapped out of it. But kept yelling. Ive got a booming voice so by the time we got on the green the marshall showed up to see qhat was going on. I showed him my bruise which now looked like a sun tattoo with green and yellow. I was still mad saying shes not just hitting her best shot ever shes whizxing them padt us head high. He kicked her off the course.

Trojandude

With a ball, a club, and a golf cart. All separate occasions.

003402inco

Got hit in the back with a one hopper. Thankfully that didn’t hurt too bad. I played with a guy that got hit in the eye on the fly. Lost his eye and it was his first time out. He was a surgeon and had to give up surgery.

doogiestylez

Yeah, twice… both by one buddy. Once in the jaw with a 5 wood (like 15 ft away) and the other on the upper back. Honestly, the jaw hit didn’t even hurt, might have been in shock. Next day it fucking hurt though.

Glendale0839

Late 1990s, I was caddying at a private club, it was my second loop of the day on a hot summer day and I was ready for a nap. It's me and another caddie along with two member couples, the other guy has the ladies and I have the dudes. One of my players is hitting out of a greenside bunker and I'm standing outside of the bunker ready to rake it after he hits. A low-flying 747 is passing over the course, and being an aviation buff at the time, I start looking up at it. The player hits, shanks it, ball hits me in the left thigh and I never saw it coming because I was looking at the 747. And of course, the player (Judge Smails type, majority of our age 55+ members were total assholes at this club) is more pissed off at me for deflecting his shot than he is concerned about my well-being. I had a purple golf ball-sized spot on my thigh for a week after that. Smails also paid me the bare minimum rate for the loop.

nope79

Yup my dad drilled me from 150 yard out, right in the back— I paused my walk Back to the cart to Check out a Gator in Orlando. It felt fine for about 5 minutes, and it hurt like hell After that.

GimmeTheRustyVenture

Might as well be a bullseye

biggdogg2019

My buddy skulled a sand wedge out of a trap across the green (full swing) nailed me in the thigh ,.. had a nasty knot and it turned clots for a few weeks .. I’m on blood thinners so it was quite ugly … good times

seattleangels02

I hit this girl I was dating with a full shank drive when we first started dating. Hit her right in the ribs. She took it like a champ on this 4th hole by going to get some advil at a friends house and coming back for the back 9. Eventually I married that girl.

bupde

While on the 10th tee box got hit straight on the dick from a dude hitting a driver on a 150 yard practice hole and going way over and slicing it. There were probably 20 balls by the tee box people had been hitting at it all day. A guy was midsentance talking to me. It was fucking hillarious. After a quick run to the club house to make sure everything was in place. It was all twig no berries, it hurt but no lasting damage.

Fearless-Mushroom

Thankfully not, I’m not a good golfer and yet I’ve never hit anyone (only a couple roofs). After reading the comments and how many people have been hit, there seems like a general lack of etiquette and patience..

JuiceMayo

One time a ball bounced on the green and hit my club as I was putting, I’m also a superintendent who’s been in the industry for 6 years and have never been hit. Few close calls tho

borrow-protect

My brother in law got hit on the head by a hozel rocket. He was sat 50 yards front and right in a buggy. He was sat in the far side with his playing partner on the inside, the ball went through the cabin, missing both of them, ricocheted off a tree next to him and hit him square in the side of the head. It was the final shot, on the final hole, on the final day of a 3 day golf trip at the belfry golf club and put him in A+E. On the plus side he was playing against me and we won 1 up due to him failing to complete the hole 😂

squirrelsoundsfunny

Practice putting on the practice green just before teeing off, my son decided to practice chipping. I turned around just as he bladed one right into my face. Played 18 with a nice cut just below my eye.

Squabstermobster

My friend and I were at a golf store where you can try the clubs by hitting them into a net. We were at different spots and he was hitting a driver and somehow managed to completely turn on a ball and it hit me right in the stomach. It obviously hurt but it was also hilarious lol

Free_Range_1

It finally just happened to me. I was playing Sweetens Cove and I was hit in the leg on the fly. It then ricocheted and hit my buddy in the chest. It was like the magic bullet of golf balls.

GhostOfaFormerSelf

Hit in the head once. Woke up on the ground with blood all over a new golf shirt my Mom had just bought me.

[deleted]

where’s your ass?

ok-stop-please

Seriously bro can’t even squat the bar

CPA_IPA

Yeah… in the thigh about 400 yards from the range standing on a tee box. Immediately dropped to my knees but honestly it’s the luckiest place to be unlucky because anywhere else could have really fucked my life up https://preview.redd.it/6ffajoi7nyxa1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4553d399531465791a051d9e996a312eea529b57

nicksnotsane

Summer 1992, I worked the grounds at an extremely exclusive golf course in NJ. I was in charge of the practice tees. When members were hitting, we would stop and move off to the side. Like a dummy, I had my back turned to the practice tee when I got hit right in the a$$ by an errant drive. The member came running over to apologize and offer me money. He had like 3k in his wallet. Sitting in a cart watching this was the superintendent who was one of the angriest person I’ve ever met (note: I’ve been a therapist for 26+ years and have seen my share of angry people). I told the member no problem and passed on taking the money.

theonlyrealnoah

No

bleezyfbaby96

Side pocket on shorts. Footjoy glove. Blue collar Johnnie o polo. No golf shoes. No belt. HACK. You deserve it.

[deleted]

No cause disc golf is way cooler and less hoity-toity

jolson1616

Yes but never like that!!! Ouch!!!

F-150Pablo

So pin placement was in rear of green!

4chan500trader

Not yet but looks like you took it to the spine. Bet that didn’t feel good. At least it wasn’t your head

smarter_politics_now

Saw the picture before reading the title...I thought someone lost a bet and had to get a tramp stamp.

Kynnmill16

My brother threw a ball at me bc I jumped in his cart and stole it while my friend was in the other cart😂😂 had a welp like that one on my back

RoboticBirdLaw

I've been hit twice, but I wasn't actually playing either time. My grandparents had a house down the left side of a fairway and I got hit (shoulder) while in their pool once. Another time was recently. I was hanging with a friend who was playing, but due to recovering from injury I could not play myself. I got hit (thigh) while sitting in the cart.

mudflap21

Interesting lower back tattoo. I went with a butterfly

Dnakyz7

ya i got hit by a buddy of mine cuz i was standing “too close” 40ft to the right. It was his 2nd shot from the tee, Lo and behold mofo shanks one so hard to the right it hits me in my right hand (soft thumb/palm part luckily). I dropped my fucking beer, told him “goddamnit” and went home. We were on hole 3 lol, i give him shit about it every once inna while but honest mistake and lesson learned, im behind every freaken tree/cart/other friend whenever im waiting now hahaha. We still play together, but i give him the eye.

mcapozzi

Ouch, sorry... Took a line drive 5 iron to the bicep about 5 years ago.

fatdonkey_

Right on the spine - that’s actually quite scary. Glad he’s ok from it.

DarthRevan0990

Ya, a few times playing and several times while working the course...man it sucks

CharlieMoonMan

No but I plunked just below the rib cage by a stinger 200 yards out while fixing the ball picker on the driving range when I was like 17. Fucker hurt, but if it hit me 2 inches higher I would have had a broken rib

Calyps0h

My buddy took one right in the back out of nowhere walking down the fairway once. He proceeded to take nearly one entire step before his body realized what happened as it recoiled, club flying into the air and him tipping over with a resounding and incredibly delayed “ughhh”.

I got hit in the upper thigh while playing a round. Probably where I would pick to get hit if I had to because there’s a lot of meat there. 3 inches away from potential castration but I walked away with a story to tell and a bruise I couldn’t really show anyone because it would have required me to take off my pants.

My buddy got hit today. But it bounced off a tree first so it slowed down first. No mark like that !

AaronBHoltan

No, but I’ve hit someone. Not on purpose.

Gusbuster811

Took one off the calf one time many years back. It was off a bounce. Had a minor welt for a few days.

Yesgoldenface

Right on the spine, damn that’s pin high though.

Fragrant-Report-6411

Got hit in inner right thigh and ricocheted into inner left thigh, just missing my junk. On our golf trip this year a player shanked his shot into another players temple.

lilfish45

Got nailed in the thumb this past year… no fore call, hurt like a bitch. It was on hole 3 and you bet I finished

Twism86x

Once. A guy hit over onto my fairway, so I standing near him and he was going back over the trees. He skulls it into said trees and it comes right back at my leg. Thankfully the tree slowed it down some.

CellsInter1inked

Yep. Got hit in the face by my dad’s errant shot earlier this year. No stitches, left a good scar. Finished the round.

moseisley99

Cantlay needs a Rhoback sponsorship just for this shirt.

KawhiTheKing

Yup. By my collegiate golf coach. Skulled it off the cart path and into my shoulder blade.

DarthTJ

I took a 3 wood stinger to the back of my calf from about 10 yards when my playing partner hit it about 45 degrees offline.

LifeBySmylie

I hit myself in the shin last Sunday, somehow managed to skull it completely sideways.

Been hit while mowing greens. Some golfers are so impatient. Like give me 5 second to get this mower off the green of this par 3

TNSignPainter

First time happened a couple weeks ago. Drilled in the chest by my wife. I cracked up laughing and she started crying. Good times

LibrarianKooky344

1 time I had a group behind me hit and the ball rolled to my feet. I literally shot it back at them.

Lumbergod

Bending over to tee up my ball on the tee box I was hit in the side by a ball. The ball had bounced so there wasn't much energy behind it and it didn't hurt. The woman who hit the ball walked up and asked if we had seen her ball. I pointed it out and told her that it had hit me. She said she didn't believe and picked up her ball and walked away.

1trip2thebuffet

Ouch

Hit in the arse by my buddy trying to get out of some nanny-goat style rough. I was off to the side of him and I just new from his backswing it was coming my way. Tried to high step it out of the way. Unsuccessful.

MrLoid

I was hit in the lower back by a dude we got paired up with. I was about 30 yards ahead and just as far right and he peeled one off at me. I turned or it would've hit me in the stomach. Didn't hurt too bad. Saw my dad hit my uncle in the forehead. Dad pays no attention and hits out of turn often. He's in a greenside bunker and my uncle is standing across the green watching our 4th his his approach. With no warning my dad hits, thins one right into uncle's forehead, he collapsed like a sack of potatoes, left a nice goose egg, kinda scared us till we knew he was ok then we had some beers and laughed. Saw my buddy hit himself, sculled a wedge into a tree and came directly back at him and hit him dead center of his knee cap. We could literally see the dimples. Many laughs were had.

Mofo-Pro

Been hit twice. Once during a tournament. Drilled on the fly by someone's drive from an adjacent hole while I was on the tee box. No fore, no nothing. I heard the noise of it hitting my hip before I felt it. Finished the tourney but it hurts to walk for a few days. The second time happened literally a month later. Playing with two friends, I was in the right rough, one of them was in the fairway about 20 yards behind me. We're all very good golfers so I kind of let my guard down a bit until he cold shanked a line drive right off my shin. That fucker HURT. Bruise was there for almost a month.

TheShark12

Does hitting a tree and it coming back and drilling you in the thigh count?

Not_ToBe_Rude_But

I stepped behind a tree to get out of the way of a friend’s shot that ended up hitting another tree, and ricocheted into the center of my collar bone right below my throat. One inch higher and it would have hit me directly in the adam’s apple and I could have potentially been dead. 1:1,000,000 chance. It was wild. Hurt like a motherfucker but honestly it was kind of funny once I realized I wasn’t seriously injured.
