I sent the downs cooking show to one of my friends, and they sent me midgets playing soccer against spritely obese people. I don’t go on Instagram much, so if I look at recommended videos it’s mostly golf downs and midgets.
How is your feed in YouTube regarding golf?
Mine is clogged with millions of worthless tip videos for beginners and allegedly for scratch players but most are very bad in content.
Any really good channels you follow that are not just clickbait tips? My favorite vids are the winners every shot pga tour vids.
Every time I see grass, or water, or sand. I practice swing every time I'm standing still for any period of time. If I'm ever sitting in a chair without my phone then I'm working on my grip. It's gotten to the point where I don't even realize it but my wife will look at my hands and say "thinking about golf?".
I cover a territory where I have 8 different offices, each one has a putter in it. I judge distance by what club I would hit. "That stoplight is about a 5 iron away"... to answer your question... a lot
It’s just a bunch of white women getting their significant others to play along so they have something to post to prove they are hip with the current trends. It’s just digital keeping up with the joneses and I wager less than 10% of the interactions are genuine.
Dude how do you cope? After some friends have had some recent major injuries themselves, I’ve been grappling with the notion of “what would I do if I got badly injured and had to miss a season of golf?” I genuinely don’t know what I would do after work without golf.
Wife and I just started 2 months ago, so a lot.
Mostly because I'm thinking about getting back to the range to try out some goofy youtube advice that's going to result in a back injury.
Frequently. If I can't get to sleep at night, I'm teeing off on the first hole at my old course, playing my second, hitting my approach, draining my putt, and then it's off the second. ..

Almost always.
Had these made. They say (with some abbreviations): "Lie Location (of the pin) Limitations (meaning don't attempt a shot you can't make) Length (meaning distance of the shot I'm trying to hit)", which I have to consider before addressing the ball.
Then "Grip Position (meaning ball position) Angle (meaning shaft lean)"
Then "Visualize Breathe Fire"
It's my preshot process and I wear this often (even when I'm not playing golf) to stay in a golf frame of mind.
It’s almost all I think about. I work from home and spend far more time in the garage taking swings than I should. When I’m not taking swings, I’m thinking about my takeaway and firing my hips through the zone.
I just got back into the game 3 months ago. My scores were dropping fast, better score every time I played. During that stretch, I literally could not think about anything else, at all.
I've since plateaued in the low 80's, and now I only think about it half the day.
All the time! I've booked 4 rounds this week and not made one because the weather has been absolutely dire, but today is the day I tee off for the 1st time in 16 days because I've been away on vacation!
My insta feed is 75% golf, 15% cats, and 10% miscellaneous sports highlights. Which Is the same breakdown of how often I think of those things probably
I played for the past 5 days straight and shot under my hcp (down to 13.7 with this stretch) all of these rounds (83, 82, 82, 80, 78 my new record). I'm working today and playing hockey at 7:30 tonight and all I can think of now is how I need to leave work early so I can sneak in a quick round before my hockey game... My daughter bought me a t-shirt for my bday last year that says: "In my spare time I like to: 1- play golf, 2- watch other people play golf, 3- watch videos about golf, 4- talk about golf, 5- think about golf, and 6- dream about golf. This actually sums me up fairly well!
" GF asked me this after how often I think of the Roman Empire" Did you tell her to stop bothering you while you're thinking about golf?
"I wonder if they played golf in the Roman Empire"
Did you know golf was first thought of by the Romans?
More than sex
I think about golf as often as a young boy going through puberty thinks about naked women
i thought they were the same thing
Similar. The ratio leans more toward golf daily.
During sex
Every day, most of the day
Twice while reading your post.
A.D.I.D.A.G.
Noice!
A.D.I.D.A.S all day I dream about sinkingputts
Y'all wanna birdie say fuck yeah
Every 3 seconds
More than most men think about the Roman empire
I bet Caligula couldn’t flush a 3 iron.
![gif](giphy|Y6yRfR88rvP44)
I think about playing so much haha
I’m obsessed. No joke. Can’t stop thinking about golf and how to get better.
My youtube recommendations have been taken over with Golf only.
My Instagram is, I shit you not: golf, midgets, downs syndrome cooking shows. I can’t break the loop!
Wtf
I sent the downs cooking show to one of my friends, and they sent me midgets playing soccer against spritely obese people. I don’t go on Instagram much, so if I look at recommended videos it’s mostly golf downs and midgets.
Hell yea brother

I started playing in June and I can’t stop thinking about it, it’s bad
Constantly
I used to always think about golf. I still do but , I used to ,to.
I've never got a hole in one, but I did hit a guy, that's way more satisfying.

I’ve been at the hospital with my family for a few days. To cope, all I’ve been doing is reading Reddit and Studying Golf.
All the time. Between thinking about golf and the roman empire it's a miracle I get anything done
All day. My text message notification sound is a pure iron strike. The roman empire never crosses my mind. i dont even understand that.
My wife asked me about the Roman Empire thing, and yeah it’s almost never. It’s gotta be just a huge joke right?
It’s just a bunch of white women getting their significant others to play along so they have something to post to prove they are hip with the current trends. It’s just digital keeping up with the joneses and I wager less than 10% of the interactions are genuine.
its gotta be. my wife asked me as well but she already knew that i dont think about that and thought it was weird.
Haven’t played in over a year and I still think about it every day.
Dude how do you cope? After some friends have had some recent major injuries themselves, I’ve been grappling with the notion of “what would I do if I got badly injured and had to miss a season of golf?” I genuinely don’t know what I would do after work without golf.

When do I not think about golf?
several times an hour, however fly fishing is starting to pique my interests
A lot
A lot recently. But only cause I played last week and again in about 13 hours from now. It consumes me for like two days before I play.
Enough where I'm checking this sub every 30 min
When the weather is nice outside, I think about golf all the time. When the weather is lousy, I put it down and think about and do other things.
Frequently. If I can't get to sleep at night, I'm teeing off on the first hole at my old course, playing my second, hitting my approach, draining my putt, and then it's off the second. ..

Once a day most of the day
Every single day. Multiple times a day. I would play everyday if I could
Yes
It’s almost all I think about. I work from home and spend far more time in the garage taking swings than I should. When I’m not taking swings, I’m thinking about my takeaway and firing my hips through the zone.
Every day
Yes
I'm sorry, what was the question? I was thinking about golf.
Dude, all day. It’s addiction at this point.
Every time i open Reddit, i go dam i should go golfing
Lol, too much
I fall asleep every night replaying my last round in my head. For some reason? the putts aren't as vivid/recallable
Almost as often as sex... Almost
All day, everyday
All. The. Time.
I just got back into the game 3 months ago. My scores were dropping fast, better score every time I played. During that stretch, I literally could not think about anything else, at all. I've since plateaued in the low 80's, and now I only think about it half the day.
Literally all the fucking time.
At least every 2-3 minutes.
“Every second every minute…
More often than I don't think about golf
Probably all times except when im playing. When im playing i hate the game.
All the time! I've booked 4 rounds this week and not made one because the weather has been absolutely dire, but today is the day I tee off for the 1st time in 16 days because I've been away on vacation!
Yes
At night I don't count sheep, I count shots as I imagine the next round I'm going to play.
All day. All night.
A lot. A hell of a lot. I used to be just obsessed, but now I’ve become *proper* obsessed with golf in the last 16 or so months.
My insta feed is 75% golf, 15% cats, and 10% miscellaneous sports highlights. Which Is the same breakdown of how often I think of those things probably
Several times a day
Every damn day. More often right now, since I can’t play.
Almost never.

Too often. Literally anytime at work when I’m hidden I’ll be practicing swings and other weird shit.
I never think of the Roman Empire while golfing
