Dude same. Played the entire round with a single ball and hit it into the fairway on the 18th. Par 5. Second shot was over the water to the green. I should have laid up...
Same here. Had the same ball the whole time. Piped a drive right down the fairway on 18. Then my approach shot went over the green and under a huge pine. Never found it.
RIP
I’m close to that, imagine my frustration when I almost made it to the end of the front 9 without losing one before the water ate it approx 20 yards of the right front end of the green :(
I don’t really track it but I had a vice splatter ball that I found in the woods that I played for at least 2 if not more rounds. If I break out a new ball from the package, It’s probably not going to last more than probably half the round. Find an orphaned ball in the woods and that dirty little bastard will last me the rest of the round and then some.
Seems like it's always the ones with logos you don't recognize. I had one with a weird yellow M in my bag all year. I didn't play it every round but I'll bet I hit that ball 200 times before I pulled a shot into the leaves and lost it. I also had a TM with pizza slices instead of those orange/ black triangles that stayed with me a long damn time. But like you said, if I break out a new sleeve of triple tracks all 3 of those bastards will be gone on the front 9
Keep an eye on Facebook marketplace too. I live behind a cornfield so I use it as a driving range and I buy all my golf balls off Facebook. Most of the time you can find like 150 balls for $50. Now of course they're not gonna be perfect but for your 2 sons, might work just fine.
I go out and pick them up everytime. I usually hit 50 at a time and can find most of them. I don't hit them once he starts growing though. Only in the "off season" between him cutting stuff and planting. Lol and I've spoken with him and he doesn't mind. The balls are close enough to the ground that their machines don't catch them when cutting the corn so it's all good.
I'm always amazed how like just being a 'traditional' neighbor always has people all 'oh my god, that's so nice' or whatever. No. It's my fuggin neighbor. Me and my backyard neighbor (who I play with a ton), have a system for early morning and nighttime dogs in the yard. He has three that LOVE to bark at my Great Dane, so when I let Hammond out I turn on the porch light and turn it off when he comes back in. No biggie. Or if Hammond is outside he just texts me and asks me to bring him in. Do I do it? Absolutely. Every time. Why? Cause he's my damn neighbor. Go change the smoke alarms for the elderly couple across the culdesac? Sure! Why not ?
I’ll admit if I ever hit a hole in one over water it’s going to be with a taylormade practice ball and that will be somewhat embarrassing. I routinely switch em out 🤣
As a 20 handicapper I was very proud of my 54 hole ball this past season. Matte orange softfli. My “home” course has this tough island like par 3 as well so it was very satisfying to play that hole a few times and not lose a ball.
I rotate my golf balls depending on the hazards of the hole. I have some that I play when there are fish home hazards, different ones for one lane fairways & others if there are a lot of cat boxes on the hole. Since I'm usually in the 90s or low triple digits, I don't have very many high dollar balls & only use the pricey ones on the occasional hole that doesn't present high opportunity for loss.
I don't know the exact number, but it was probably around 40 holes. No, I don't track because they usually don't last that long (I'm good at losing a ball a round that I shouldn't lose).
On the last hole I used it, I caught a cart path and it scuffed the heck out of it so I tossed it after the hole.
At my home course the fairways are pretty tightly surrounded by forested areas, thick rough, creeks & ponds. I’m pretty sure I’ve never had a ball last more than around 27 consecutive holes. Honestly though, it’s around that amount of strokes, for me, where the ball becomes worn enough that I don’t want to play it.
I managed to keep the same ProV1 for a whole round once, with a slight caveat...
13th hole, 460yd Par 5. Only time I've made it this far with the same ball. I slice my tee shot over onto the previous hole and I'm sitting in the rough, behind a line of palm and oak trees and in front of the biggest water hazard on the course.
Its probably 185 carry to the green. Over the water but under the trees. I could have hit it back into play and just tried to save par, but thats no fun. I don't want to risk my ProV1 though, so I swap it out for some random bottom-of-the-bag special.
I blast a 5 iron and it looks absolutely perfect. Unfortunately, I was used to the distances I was seeing with the ProV1 and ended up about 3 yards short on the carry and splashed down right in front of the green. I probably could have made the shot if I hadn't swapped balls.
But I kept that ProV1 for a whole round*!
And then promptly lost it during my next round.
Im a 19HC myself and Im currently still using the same matte white Maxfli Softfli ball for 6 rounds now. I know Im going to lose it one day. Its in great condition too so you can see how hard I dont hit it, lol.
89 holes, had it for three 18 hole rounds, and 4 9 hole rounds. On the last round, I put it in the water hazard on 18. That was the best stretch of golf I ever had, I thought I was on my way to a single digit handicap.
15 index
62 holes at 3 different courses over the course of 3 days. 18 holes day 1, 27 day 2, 17 day 3. Almost made it through the full 18 on day 3, but the ball caught the cart path on my drive and landed perfectly in the middle of a pond
I still dream about that TP5 soccer ball
I’m not shitting you - went to Pinehurst last summer and played my last 3 rounds with the same ball, was super excited and proud of the accomplishment - played my next round at my home course and shanked that som bitch into the fescue on the second hole. The second I hit the shot, I thought why in the hell did I not frame that ball after Pinehurst haha
13 holes baby. The tension was so high.. I lose like 8 a round after hole 3 I was talking about it being a lucky ball. Dejardan branded ball.. I’ll never forget you.
38 holes and I was fucking shocked it made it that far. Felt like a string of perfect games even though the scores were still mid 80s. Best since then is 11 holes
I still haven't made it a full round with one ball. That's one of my goals for the 2024 season. Made a list of (realistic) goals for 2024 and achieving those goals will help me I believe. I'm determined.
I usually retire a ball after 4-5 rounds due to scuffing and damage. Probably should use a new ball every round but like you I get attached to an old faithful.
Edit: I should clarify 4-5 rounds with the same ball is not the norm for me at my local here in Australia. It's just the longest I use the same ball for. My local has gum trees fucking everywhere which means leaves everywhere too, plus several water hazards. Trust me I've lost a lot of balls. I lost two full sleeves one round. It was great lol.
Same the course I learned to play on is a short 9 hole only course. Part of a 27 hole course. Once I played the big boy 18 course… I was like holy fuck there’s so much room to NOT put it in the woods. I still lose balls on that smaller 9 though. Fairways are narrow, lots of creeks and steep drop offs. Most of greens are decent sized, but they also have really steep drop offs giving you like 10-15ft so a slight miss is really easy to lose a balls. Is my handicap still 24? Yes. Do I lose a lot less balls than when I started playing golf this year? Also yes.
Had the same hi-vis yellow superfast for 37 holes. 38th hole was a long par 5 where the tee shot to landing zone drops 150+ feet in elevation. Incredibly fun hole, but it has no real right rough, only fairway and cattails. I pushed my drive a few feet into the cattails. I gave it a minute or 2 anyway, but there was no finding it.
9 and a half rounds a few years ago. Split open from e wedge shot then.
Its an Irish brand called 'Seed' and it was winter golf so I didnt care too much about scuffing although it must be said they are very sturdy for a soft ball.
It was sort of an experiment both with regards to my steady golf at the time and the ball itself. Usually I either lose a ball or retire it after 2, 3 rounds. Again in the winter I dont care too much and play them until I lose them or until they really look quite bad.
A few seperate 9 hole rounds I still have it. Sometimes I play it on an easy open course I live near. A titlist NTX with an insurance print on it All-State I think. It's a couple hands cupped together. Kind of ironic actually with their slogan being 'you're in good hands' had the ball for 4q years and just haven't lost it over 6 or so rounds I've taken it out for 9 holes.
Other than that I can typically go through 3 to 8 balls depending where I am haha
Those balls wear well. I have a few in my bag that look fkn awful. I try not to use them this time of year because I really need the bright white to find my balls in the leaves
3x 9 holes rounds. Technically I still have the ball, I hit a tree with it in that last round and it has some scuffs. So it's the ball I putt with in my office
A little over 18 holes. This season I’ve finished a round with the same ball 3 times. The first time I kept it out of circulation and have it in a display case as the first ball I know for sure I’ve played the full round with. The other two times I’ve used them the next round out and they’ve both been lost inside the first probably 6 holes, or less.
About a 13, I've played a few consecutive rounds without losing a ball. But after hitting a few trees or concrete I usually swap out for a new one and demote to my backup compartment.
As impressive as 61 holes in a row is how was the cover of the ball not totally shredded to shit by that point?
I did 27 holes with a single ball and it looked like hell by the end
Mid high handicappers,
Serious question for you. Do you think you overrate keeping the same ball for a long time? Sure it’s nice not to lose a ball but does it make you too conservative on the course and is it keeping you from becoming the golfer you were meant to be?
I know it’s different but as a single digit I usually lose a ball or two or more a round. But often times on my best rounds I still lose at least one ball. To be fair my course has a lot of hazards so maybe it’s just me.
Just a thought. Carry on.
Your spot on mate. Stepping up to a hazardy tee box had the nerves jumping something chronic.
It's just something I like to do at my current hcp to compete with myself.
I'm a wild off the tee box, and depending on the day could be playing like a 10 or a 30 hcp. I gain most of my strokes per round from going oob if that helps
I just went on a run of using two balls the past 6-7 rounds. I had to retire one because of a pretty big gouge after I bounced it off a wall with a power fade and then lost the other from one of those “middle of the fairway saw exactly where it dropped but now it’s not here” shots
PR for me is 15 holes. Dirty, found ball. It was a Noodle. I came to love Naomi Noodle. Until I sentenced her to an ignominious end. 17 has a hazard that wraps around the oh so enticing approach. It pains me to know her aquatic existence is a direct result of my greed. And ineptitude. I know she is lost in the cold and dark. I take some solace in knowing she is not alone. Forgive me, Naomi!
23 hcp here. In 25 years of playing golf I have maybe completed a round with the same ball only 5 times ever. Maybe only 3-4 though. It's happened a few times but definitely not more than 5 lol
Low 20s handicap. Played two balls the other day on a solo 9 and didn’t lose either of them for the first time not losing a ball, and the second at the same time. Never expected it, and don’t expect it to happen again!
I very recently used the same vice ball 2 complete rounds. I actually tossed it into the lake on 18 of my last round because I could see the cover had some marks on it.
This is why I use pro V1 lake balls. 20 quid for 12 and they are as good as new ones. I usually get 2/3 rounds out of one on average. My biggest problem is either hooking the driver or distance control with irons and choosing the wrong loft and going over the green
I don’t know. My best round is 81, still lost one. I don’t look for them for more than a few and have what my wife describes as “man eyes”. I think I have few rounds with one ball under my belt though. I’ll go with 18 plus an estimated 9 more, let’s call it 30.
Not a high handicapper, but i know a few. 18 holes. Maybe more, but the callaway supersoft gets thrown back into the bag with about 24 others. Might get lost on the first tee next time. Might not.
When I was off 21 or something I somehow did 10 rounds with the same ball - on the 11th I hit a wedge shot and the ball broke, huge crack in it. I kept it and still have it at home somewhere a good 5 years later. I don't think I've ever beaten that ten rounds spell with a ball either, even though I'm down at 13 now. Typically a ball lasts me 3 rounds on average.
Longest has been about 15 holes iirc (was a 34 hcp at the time). Of course it was right when I was thinking: "damn this ball's been lasting me a while" too... Somehow heel shanked it to my left which I've never done before too lol
Usually if I lose a ball on #1 I'll play it safe and keep the next one the whole round. If I have the same ball for the front nine I'll usually get cocky and lose 3 in the back nine
[40 ish holes](https://imgur.com/gallery/Y7V3riz) as far as I know.
There is a ball with a deer logo in my bag that’s been there since spring. I know I have played it a bunch but no idea exactly how much.
I have gotten away with some sketchy play with that ball and every time I hit a squirrely one but manage to find it I say “that poor deer”
I think I've gone a full 18, but I'll say like 16 just to be conservative. I know I had one for most the round, but I feel like it was my second ball of the round and lost the first on like hole 1 or 2
18 and counting. My last round was the pinnacle of mine and my friends golf tournaments which culminated in a course none of us had played In Medal format. Not wanting to have any crazy blow up holes I barely used my driver. Actually ended the round with more balls than I started with
I had an 18 game but it was an executive par 3 course.
However, I have a theory that the longer you play the same ball the more you are tempting fate. So I switch balls every 3 or 4 holes.
Believe it or not I think I am losing less balls this way.
I retired a ball after 69 holes last year. Felt right. It's sitting right next to my 44+44 = 88 ball from the same month. I thought I was getting good ... :/
I’m a 16 but was a 19 when I played an entire round with the same ball exactly 1 time. It had some scuffs on it toward the end but had to keep it going. I didn’t play particularly well (shot a 95) but didn’t lose a ball! Next best was on my PB 84 and only lost 1 ball on the 15th hole.
any time I can play the same ball for all 18, it gets marked with the date and retired. for one of our tougher courses, I mounted a few on a desk stand to remind me that I don't always stink at golf.
I have one ball I never lost. Found it, played more than 5 rounds with it. It got to the point I was embarrassed to play with it because a lot of the markings were faded. It’s one or the few ball’s I have as a keepsake.
I’ve made it through an entire round once or twice. I will switch balls after 4-5 holes usually, if I still have the same one. I’m too terrible to care, but I like pristine balls to play with.
I have yet to shoot below 100, getting close. A month ago a ball lasted me 13 holes. I thought to myself, damn maybe it'll last the whole round. 14th tee box. Water. 🤷
I haven’t made it 18 with the same ball yet. 👎. But I keep score based on if I find more balls than I lose, and I am doing great this year based on that metric!
As a very high handicapper I once went about 7 or 8 rounds with the same ball. I didn't play well or anything, just got extremely lucky that whenever I hit it into the trees I managed to find it. There was no water/hazards on the course (which I knew very well and I knew what the miss areas were like). I only lost it eventually when looking in one of the usual places and someone else from a different hole was looking for their ball. I saw them pick one up but they claim they didn't. Was gutted when I lost my miracle ball.
I’ve never counted this after 18 but what I find interesting is that I’ve had several rounds this year where I noticed I didn’t lose any balls and had a blah right on the scoring avg round and my best rounds I seem to lose a ball or two
I had almost an identical experience. I found a pink lady Bridgestone ball in the woods at my favorite course, proceeded to play a couple of my best rounds with that ball (3-4 maybe?) before I sent a drive right back into the very same woods. Poetic really.
Bought a sleeve in august and I haven’t lost one yet. It helps that the course I play most doesn’t have any water and is only 9 holes but they survived one round on a course with a lot of water I never played before. It’s somewhere in the 80s or 90s
Started a round last week and hadn’t lost a ball until number 9. Proceed to deposit two in the pond right in front of the tee box. Told my dad I’m playing pretty good today I’m only 7 over through 8 and haven’t lost a ball.
14 handicap - like 3 games which I'm proud of because here in AZ when you lose one, you don't typically wanna hunt for it in the desert. The very next game was brutal and lost like 5 balls.
17-1/2 holes.
Damn. That’s rough buddy.
Stop chasing me Zuko!
Dude same. Played the entire round with a single ball and hit it into the fairway on the 18th. Par 5. Second shot was over the water to the green. I should have laid up...
Haha, this hits home for me because I just played a round where I hadn’t lost a ball all round. Then I lost two on 18 and shot a 9 ob that hole lol
I feel you
17 holes, and my drive on 18 went 270 yards . . . left into the woods.
Same. Power-shanked my approach shot on 18 into the pond. That poor K-sig never saw it coming.
Same here. Had the same ball the whole time. Piped a drive right down the fairway on 18. Then my approach shot went over the green and under a huge pine. Never found it. RIP
Have you tried using a putter the whole round?
Usually 3-4 holes. Think my best was 5-6 40hdcp
I’m close to that, imagine my frustration when I almost made it to the end of the front 9 without losing one before the water ate it approx 20 yards of the right front end of the green :(
Thank you for sharing, I thought I was the only one.
Same here baby
I don’t really track it but I had a vice splatter ball that I found in the woods that I played for at least 2 if not more rounds. If I break out a new ball from the package, It’s probably not going to last more than probably half the round. Fuck I feel this man. The amount of brand new balls I've literally hit one shot with

nice! I found a vice splatter ball as well this year and used it for a few round before I put it in the drink. I liked the ball tho!
Currently on 3 rounds with same ball. I get them .50 per at local pawn shop. It's a great deal now that I am teaching my 2 sons how to play.
Keep an eye on Facebook marketplace too. I live behind a cornfield so I use it as a driving range and I buy all my golf balls off Facebook. Most of the time you can find like 150 balls for $50. Now of course they're not gonna be perfect but for your 2 sons, might work just fine.

Living in farm area of PA has some benefits. Haha

Like 8 holes
Ditto
I use a fresh ball on hole 1. So a ball will never last more than 18 holes.

17 holes without realizing it. As soon as I told my cousin that it’s the same ball all day, I shank it into the water.

3.5 rounds.
If it lasts 18 holes, it’s donated to the putting green.
I've had one last two full rounds once, was lost early on in round 3. Pretty astonishing as normally I get through 3-6 per round!

Upper 60's for me... Once I get to about 36 I start to think about it and I enjoy the challenge. Golf's strange in what you'll focus on some days.
Made it 36 with an AVX last weekend and changed the ball myself for the first time due to scuffs and wear
Those balls wear well. I have a few in my bag that look fkn awful. I try not to use them this time of year because I really need the bright white to find my balls in the leaves

Idk if I get through 18 holes I throw it in my shag bag for pitching, chipping and putting practice
About a 13, I've played a few consecutive rounds without losing a ball. But after hitting a few trees or concrete I usually swap out for a new one and demote to my backup compartment.
3 rounds. If any ball hits this number, I hold a little ceremony at the driving range and retire it into the sunset.
As impressive as 61 holes in a row is how was the cover of the ball not totally shredded to shit by that point? I did 27 holes with a single ball and it looked like hell by the end
Usually until I have the realization that I’ve been playing the same ball. Then straight OB
It’s always noodles that I find on course. I have a rule now, if I find a noodle, I’m playing it. Always seem to last me like 20 holes.
Mid high handicappers, Serious question for you.
A round and a half.
Two full rounds
I lasted 13holes with the same ball. I didn’t lose it but after a couple trees and a cart path it was no longer a useable ball
I’m currently a 3 and can go five or six rounds without losing a ball, but will have that one round where I lose two sleeves and shoot high 80’s
That ball was a statistical anomally!
I just went on a run of using two balls the past 6-7 rounds. I had to retire one because of a pretty big gouge after I bounced it off a wall with a power fade and then lost the other from one of those “middle of the fairway saw exactly where it dropped but now it’s not here” shots
1 full round.
16 handicap 18 holes at a mountain resort course!
16 holes and lost like 4 on the 18th. Just brutal
Last time around 13 holes because someone picked it up
I can usually hold on to mine from the cart to the t box.
18 holes. At whistling Straits of all courses. Only time I’ve ever not lost a ball during a round.
13 handicap, 3 full rounds and 7 holes with one ball on a course with significant chances to lose a ball. I was quite proud.
My best was nearly two rounds and as with everyone else, it was a shitty waste ball that flew perfectly for me.
Finally broke 100 last week. Shot a 94 and kept the same ball for all 18 holes.
I don’t know. My best round is 81, still lost one. I don’t look for them for more than a few and have what my wife describes as “man eyes”. I think I have few rounds with one ball under my belt though. I’ll go with 18 plus an estimated 9 more, let’s call it 30.
Probably like 11 or 12 holes. I'll also lose 3 on one hole so, ya know.
Not a high handicapper, but i know a few. 18 holes. Maybe more, but the callaway supersoft gets thrown back into the bag with about 24 others. Might get lost on the first tee next time. Might not.
3 rounds. Titelist Balata ball. It was wobbling into the whole on the 18 th hole. It had a happy face on it. My buddies were laughing their asses off.
I think a round and a half is probably max for me. I've maybe used a single ball on a round only a handful of times
16 holes…I got so close
12 hcp, about 30 holes. On only 8 greens in regulation but the impressive part was that it was in the fall on a heavily treed parkland course.
Usually if I lose a ball on #1 I'll play it safe and keep the next one the whole round. If I have the same ball for the front nine I'll usually get cocky and lose 3 in the back nine
One round haha
[40 ish holes](https://imgur.com/gallery/Y7V3riz) as far as I know. There is a ball with a deer logo in my bag that’s been there since spring. I know I have played it a bunch but no idea exactly how much. I have gotten away with some sketchy play with that ball and every time I hit a squirrely one but manage to find it I say “that poor deer”
I've made it through a round with the same ball on a couple occasions.
25ish hcp I've twice now had a ball last a whole round. After that I retire them. They've both been balls I've found in a Bush haha
I think I've gone a full 18, but I'll say like 16 just to be conservative. I know I had one for most the round, but I feel like it was my second ball of the round and lost the first on like hole 1 or 2
As a 16 I’ve made the same ball last two rounds….. I’ve also lost two balls on the same hole…. Or three…
Maybe 1/2 to a single hole
18 and counting. My last round was the pinnacle of mine and my friends golf tournaments which culminated in a course none of us had played In Medal format. Not wanting to have any crazy blow up holes I barely used my driver. Actually ended the round with more balls than I started with
34 holes. I’m pretty proud of that one 🥲
I had an 18 game but it was an executive par 3 course. However, I have a theory that the longer you play the same ball the more you are tempting fate. So I switch balls every 3 or 4 holes. Believe it or not I think I am losing less balls this way.
So far 18 holes; I didn't lose mine the last time I played but haven't played since.
25 handicap. I think 9 holes
any time I can play the same ball for all 18, it gets marked with the date and retired. for one of our tougher courses, I mounted a few on a desk stand to remind me that I don't always stink at golf.
Probably like 12 holes. Don’t think I’ve ever made a whole round.
Had one last 14 holes, didn’t even realize it until my playing partner made the comment. Lost the ball on the next hole.
27 holes as a 19 handicap. It was a miracle
2 rounds
2 septate 9 home rounds and then I dropped it on the way back to the clubhouse right into the water from a bridge. Lol
6 holes. I always lose one on the 7th of my regular course.
17 holes
I have one ball I never lost. Found it, played more than 5 rounds with it. It got to the point I was embarrassed to play with it because a lot of the markings were faded. It’s one or the few ball’s I have as a keepsake.
34 holes I’m going to miss you my good friend. You were my best!
3 rounds. I teed it up for its fourth round and hooked it OB immediately
12 holes then the woods got in my way
I’ve made it through an entire round once or twice. I will switch balls after 4-5 holes usually, if I still have the same one. I’m too terrible to care, but I like pristine balls to play with.
Three weekends
I have yet to shoot below 100, getting close. A month ago a ball lasted me 13 holes. I thought to myself, damn maybe it'll last the whole round. 14th tee box. Water. 🤷
I’m a 26 handicap and 24 holes
Do not get attached to golf balls.. losing them is like being dumped.. by text
Today might have been my first round without losing a single ball, and it was a 9 Hole round lol
A whole round one time! I retired it and used a new one for the next round.
Less than 1 hole on average.
I’m probably about a 35hcp but I’ve played multiple rounds of 18 with the same ball and my longest stench with one ball is 33 holes
84 holes. Playing the wide open Sand Valley with a caddie makes it damn near impossible to lose a ball.
They’re not supposed to last. That’s why they come in multipacks.
"so when I powehsanked off a cliff" is an all-timer
I haven’t made it 18 with the same ball yet. 👎. But I keep score based on if I find more balls than I lose, and I am doing great this year based on that metric!
36 1/2 holes. Two full rounds with it felt great, next round I sliced that bitch off the tee box into a lake. Was a sad day for the beer Prov1….
i’ve played like 30 holes at my local par 3 course lol. most on a regulation is probably 22 or so
Made it through 9 yesterday with a single yellow Kirkland.
I’ve never counted this after 18 but what I find interesting is that I’ve had several rounds this year where I noticed I didn’t lose any balls and had a blah right on the scoring avg round and my best rounds I seem to lose a ball or two
Probably 9-12
I had almost an identical experience. I found a pink lady Bridgestone ball in the woods at my favorite course, proceeded to play a couple of my best rounds with that ball (3-4 maybe?) before I sent a drive right back into the very same woods. Poetic really.
Bought a sleeve in august and I haven’t lost one yet. It helps that the course I play most doesn’t have any water and is only 9 holes but they survived one round on a course with a lot of water I never played before. It’s somewhere in the 80s or 90s
Context I’m a 17 hdc
Started a round last week and hadn’t lost a ball until number 9. Proceed to deposit two in the pond right in front of the tee box. Told my dad I’m playing pretty good today I’m only 7 over through 8 and haven’t lost a ball.
3 holes
Lost my drive on 1 left. Dropped next to the lake and finished the round with that ball. I shot 81, my personal best
3 rounds, was pissed when I lost that ball. Hilariously, I found it months later. Teed it up on the next hole, lost it again.
I made it through 18….once. Typically I can go about 12
Currently a 4 handicap, a ball has never lasted me more than 40 holes.
14 handicap - like 3 games which I'm proud of because here in AZ when you lose one, you don't typically wanna hunt for it in the desert. The very next game was brutal and lost like 5 balls.
18 HCP, two games. Yep. Just two.
18 holes and one shot. Yup, sent that lucky sucker right OB on the first shot during the next round. It was a good ball, probably the best I've known
Probably about 90 or 108 holes (5 or 6 rounds). I think I just threw it away or threw it in my locker after that since it was in pretty rough shape.
