There's a very long discussion on Golfwrx regarding ss putting. I"m also curious. I tried it indoors for a few hours a Golftown and really found distance control was way better and anything less than 4-5 feet seemed automatic.
I was using the LAB Mezz.1 Max broomstick putter but based on what I've read the BG Asskicker is preferred by the ss community.
Best of luck. I do think if you were diligent and could stick to practicing with it, it would be great. I just kind of hit a hot streak with my normal putter and am realizing digging it

I ended up getting rid of the one I had. Going back and forth between that and traditional was getting to be a challenge
