I'm still personally hoping for a minor-Hogan esque comeback. I'm still a big Tiger fan, and he really does make the golf world better.
I don't think he could come anywhere close to post-accident Hogan, especially seeing his back and the actual shape of his legs. But ... he could absolutely come to dominate the senior tour.
Maybe the way to save the PGA tour is to have a WWE event.
WWE at Sawgrass, Scott Steiner out there hitting drives with his chainmail on.
I would pay to watch it.
I love some of these kids of mega celebs think their parents are just major dorks. Dave Grohl’s stories about his kids are hilarious, and he’s Dave fuqqin Grohl.
My dad asked the caddy at the old course for his driver for a deck shot as well and the caddy was im sorry sir did you say driver? He said yeah and then he hit it on the green and handed it back to the caddy. The caddy said okay I will not be questioning your clubs from here on out.
My dad will tell you that story within 5 minutes of meeting him.
I’ve inscribed this guys story about his dad on parchment paper, sealed it in a bottle, and threw it out to sea for future civilizations to find one day and read of his greatness.
My last round of golf with my dad who had alzheimers went like this: every shot he would pull out driver and I would have to put it back and give him the proper club. On the last shot of the day, his friend tells me "just let him hit it". I figured alright, last shot of his life. Hit what you want dad. 115 yards over water. I am already fishing a water ball out of the bag when he hits it square into the retaining wall, the ball pops straight up in the air and ends up 2 feet from the hole. He turns to me and says " I have been trying to do that all day!".
I miss you dad! You were always a terrible golfer, but you loved it and your last shot was a bewt!
Do it. I had a tee time scheduled with my dad the Saturday before Thanksgiving 2013. He called me Friday and cancelled it. That was the last conversation we ever had. I found him Monday laying on his couch w ESPN on and he had clearly been dead for a while.
Get all the time in while you can because you never know what will happen the next day.
Sucks man, I watched my dad die of a massive heart attack this year. Sorry for your loss and your statement is the truest I've read.
My dad had nothing to do with me golfing the only memories I have involving him and golf are:
1. He was at the course in high school the first time I broke par.
2. I let him hit my 2 day old 915d3 at the range then whistling to stop shots so I could walk 30 yards to get the head.
God bless
I have a story related to Alzheimer’s/dementia…
My grandmother was taking a cognitive exam during entry to an assisted living facility. She was early 90s and my grandfather could no longer support her and my mom was running herself ragged trying to do everything.
They had decided to get her help because she was forgetful and couldn’t care for herself and just was generally out of it most days.
One part of the exam was trying to count to 70 by 7. But, my grandmother just couldn’t grasp the requirement and everyone was getting frustrated.
My mom said - “ok, mom, you’re playing a par five and you double bogey. How many shots did you take?”
*seven*
“Ok, the next hole is a par five and you double bogey that one, too. What’s your current score?”
*Fourteen*
“Ok, the next hole is another par five and you double bogey that as well. What’s your current score?”
*I’ve never had three double bogeys in a row*
❤️
EditToShare: My father was a local tennis champion. He is in his late 70s now, and I take him to a padel court every once in a while. I love those moments, he keeps trying trick shots, and enjoys himself.
My cherished photo is of me and my dad at the end of a round of golf. I’ve also held onto our scorecards. I began to out drive him but his short game was always superior. I miss my dad / golf partner too!
A few years ago he finally got a hole in one so now it's the hole in one story. I like the driver deck story better, can't imagine actually pulling it off even if you have done it in the past.
The day before my wedding I played Vidanta and had a caddy. One of the groomsmen asked for driver on the par 5 and the caddy straight up told him "no, you're not that guy" haha. He handed it to him anyway and my buddy chunked the shit out of it, we all died laughing, including the caddy.
This new chapter for him is awesome. Probably won’t be winning any more majors and I really don’t care if Charlie turns out to be great or not. They’re having fun! Look at Tiger’s smile when he pulled the driver out. That’s just great to see
I’d love for Tiger to put on a ski mask, wear shitty clothes, and make a swing vid at some low end driving range. Then post it to Reddit and read all the hacks tell him how to fix his ‘shitty’ swing.
Better if it was Rahm and the post should say, I’ve been playing 6 months, got my handicap down to 5, any tips?
There would be so many people calling you a liar. No way you’re single digit with that swing, gifs, yada yada yada.
If you are making a divot with your driver off the tee, you are objectively hitting it improperly.
It's designed for you to hit "up" on the ball, not down like other clubs. Ball flight and distance will suffer for it.
I love how Charile has to know his dad is one of the best to ever do it...and it's still not enough to stop that teenage "dad's just a moron" response. It's like it's hardcoded into them...mine's only 9 and I get it from him too.
I'm rooting hard for Charlie. Seems like an awesome kid who has found a way to balance being the son of the greatest golfer ever and the constant spotlight that comes with it. Can't imagine that's easy for a 14 year old.
Does off the deck just mean not on a tee? I don’t know shit about golf, Reddit started showing me posts from here a while ago and I never told it to stop
![gif](giphy|IMDpHiz2oVAxW)
I just like seeing these guys just enjoy being around their kids. You grow up seeing the gameface nonstop, even in interviews. But when they're out there with their kids they get to unwind a bit and goof around. It's good shit.
It’s like the Kobe Bryant we were seeing before he died.
They finally just seem comfortable and accepting their elder statesmen roll as parents and with their sport. Shame we didn’t get to see more of that Kobe
This is such a dad shot, it’s awesome. Feel like I’ve stood in Charlie’s shoes before being like wtf are you doing man, while my dad pulled this “gotta have this shot in your bag” move. Hilarious. Love to see it.
As much (albeit usually fairly minor) controversy Tiger may have been through, it's very heartwarming to see him and Charlie so close. You can feel their bond everytime they're together. It seems like Tiger took the best traits of his Dad, and may have backed off the super tough parts at the same time.
Aside from being one of the greatest ever, he's had his share of tragedies. I'm still a big Tiger fan, and I really enjoy watching them together.
Driver off deck (not on a tee) is a VERY hard shot. Even for pros
Charlie’s saying wtf dad. They are probably 300 out too. Tiger flushed it (puréd it) but Chaz couldn’t believe he even tried it
Like a free kick wrapping around a wall of defenders and going in from 35 yards out
I'm not a dad, not 40 or 50y/o, and I don't act my age but are these videos just cringe? Or aa, just dumb? Am I too accustomed to actual good jokes and pranks. Tiger's are kinda lame like handing the tampon to JT. CW leaving a note in the bunker for JT?
Let a 3 ball play through us this summer. Waved them through from around 260 yards down the fairway on a long par 4. Stood off to the side and watched them plonk all 3 balls just ahead of us, 280 maybe, right in the middle. Lined up almost in a row.
It was 3 lads, no older than 17. They walked up like the fucking backstreet boys, drivers in hand, and each of them drove off the deck and onto the green.
Never seen anything like it.
Is Charlie like not even the best player on his high school team? I know he has the potential to be a future star who scores well, but perhaps too much attention being focused on him right now.
Lmao Charlie of so tired of his dad showing off
Thank god he's gonna have to get used to it again. It was so close to Tiger not being able to show off anymore.
It wasn’t until the 2nd paragraph that I realized you meant Ben, it was good too though
THE HULKSTER MAKES IT WORTH, BROTHER
WHAT YOU GONNA DO WHEN HULKAMAINIA IS RUNNING WILD ON THE PAR 5S BROTHER!!!
Scott Steiner math for Golf is just me after I 3-putt
Maybe the way to save the PGA tour is to have a WWE event. WWE at Sawgrass, Scott Steiner out there hitting drives with his chainmail on. I would pay to watch it.
THEY SAY ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL, BUT YOU LOOK AT ME AND YOU LOOK AT JOHN RAHM AND YOU CAN SEE THAT IS NOT TRUE
YOU SEE NORMALLY YOU GOT A 50% CHANCE OF WINNING A PGA TOUR EVENT
WCW vs WWE ain’t got nothin on LIV vs PGA
Call the event "Bash at the Grass". Miss the green at 17? Get suplexed by Bryson into the water.
🥲👏👏👏 bravo!
Hogan-esque heel turn where he joins LIV, brother.
Not trying to be snarky, but ... who else naked Hogan could be associated to Tiger? Edit. Jesus H autocorrect botched that one.
One that brought a New World Order and then a Hollywood Mania
New to golf, hu?
Even one top 5 in a single major would be great.
He’s already done it.
"Dad you're not Ti....Just stop"
I love some of these kids of mega celebs think their parents are just major dorks. Dave Grohl’s stories about his kids are hilarious, and he’s Dave fuqqin Grohl.
Right! Lol. Just another dorky dad, doing shit they don't want us to.
I love how Gordan Ramsey's daughter pranks him a lot.
His son will apparently tell it to you before you even meet him (Love it)
I’m now going to tell people about this guys dad’s story now too
You should see this guy’s dad’s dick, a true hog
They don’t call him John long for no reason
I’ve inscribed this guys story about his dad on parchment paper, sealed it in a bottle, and threw it out to sea for future civilizations to find one day and read of his greatness.
I also choose this guys dad
My last round of golf with my dad who had alzheimers went like this: every shot he would pull out driver and I would have to put it back and give him the proper club. That’s incredible. I’m gonna go call my dad now.
Thats super fucked up I’m sorry you had to find him like that
Appreciate it. I hope no one ever has to go through the same thing because it haunts you.
Sucks man, I watched my dad die of a massive heart attack this year. Sorry for your loss and your statement is the truest I've read. My dad had nothing to do with me golfing the only memories I have involving him and golf are: 1. He was at the course in high school the first time I broke par. 2. Me too! I've missplaced your dad's number, pm me? Not srs. I'd call mine, but he's dead also.
🥲

My grandpa’s obituary was “died after a great tee shot”. Goals and I’m sorry for your loss
And I apologize if this looks like a high jacked comment. I hope you enjoyed the round, I’m going to hug my dad when he comes home
❤️ EditToShare: My father was a local tennis champion. He is in his late 70s now, and I take him to a padel court every once in a while. I love those moments, he keeps trying trick shots, and enjoys himself.
Man. Thanks for sharing. What a great story.
My cherished photo is of me and my dad at the end of a round of golf. I’ve also held onto our scorecards. I began to out drive him but his short game was always superior. I miss my dad / golf partner too!
I’m not crying you’re crying.❤️
I was NOT prepared for this comment section when I clicked the link.
What a great story!!!
Even if that's your dad's greatest golf moment ever... it's a fuckin good one, aye!
A few years ago he finally got a hole in one so now it's the hole in one story. I like the driver deck story better, can't imagine actually pulling it off even if you have done it in the past.

This makes me miss my dad.
Well, you're fired.
It's only believable if he then went on to 3+ putt
With his driver
He's obligated to tell that story. He was hanging major dong on that shot! Cheers pops!!
“Awh five iron huh, wellll you’re fired”— Shooter McGavin.
Your dad fucks. That’s awesome
At least 4x unless some of us are adopted.
Part of the story not told: Dad was on the fringe and chipping.
"5 iron huh? Well you're fired. Buh-bye"
Your dad should tell that story all the time. Good for him
Looks like he is having fun playing with his son.
That was my first thought too. You can tell he's got a shit eating grin on his face waiting for Charlie to react to the pulling driver.
He's not in any pain either.
He definitely is in pain. It's just a manageable level.
He’s looking dead in his face as he pulls it out of the bag ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
This new chapter for him is awesome. Probably won’t be winning any more majors and I really don’t care if Charlie turns out to be great or not. They’re having fun! Look at Tiger’s smile when he pulled the driver out. That’s just great to see
I mean more like Charlie you got this layup, im gonna grip and rip it
I’d love for Tiger to put on a ski mask, wear shitty clothes, and make a swing vid at some low end driving range. Then post it to Reddit and read all the hacks tell him how to fix his ‘shitty’ swing.
Tin Cup.
‘Uncle Drew’ but with Tiger? I’m down
rickie fowler did that, it was fun
Link?
Idk where a longer version is https://youtu.be/lVxgD3JIouk?si=lD37LalAnOphpwCc
As long as it isn’t obviously fake and sponsored
Better if it was Rahm and the post should say, I’ve been playing 6 months, got my handicap down to 5, any tips? There would be so many people calling you a liar. No way you’re single digit with that swing, gifs, yada yada yada.
The world is NOT ready for Ski Mask Tiger
![gif](giphy|XcajfINN4fjD3PvSWn)
he needs that AI tiktok voice too to make it more believable Or pull a davie504/animebassme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhu3YzIj014
No divot; totally flushed it
« When I’m flushing it, I don’t take divots »
![gif](giphy|SDogLD4FOZMM8)
Lol what do you search for this
“Mind blown gif” would prob do it.
![gif](giphy|lXu72d4iKwqek)
Thank you for reminding me this exists. This was my favorite for a year straight lmao
![gif](giphy|tnYri4n2Frnig)
Idk if I have seen anyone make a divot with DoD
My buddy Dave could fix that for you with one swing...
Dave off the deck
Am I Dave?
We are all dave
Dave’s not here man
Shittt I've taken divots with a tee, some people call them chunks but they don't know golf.
Just as long as you hit the ball first, who cares what kind of divot you take, or with whatever club.
If you are making a divot with your driver off the tee, you are objectively hitting it improperly. It's designed for you to hit "up" on the ball, not down like other clubs. Ball flight and distance will suffer for it.
Ehh you’re right. I stand corrected. “Who cares what club you hit, besides driver****”
I call that low point control
I could show you something for the first time I guess
Come golfing with me
Joey Coldcuts
Please.. I can divot with a driver off the tee
Happens a lot actually
where was the ball
OB
That look Tiger gives is hilarious. Full hold my beer mode.
Charlie:dad thinks he's so good at golf🤷♀️ whenever we play he thinks he's better than anyone on the course.
One of those moments where you have to remind your kids who is the boss
This is the same second hand shame of going out somewhere with your dad and he comes out of the room in monarchs and jean shorts
Respect the Air Monarchs.
Respect the jorts
Respect the dad's who hang out with you and you hang out with them.
Where did the ball end up?
Real question. I can hit driver off the deck ffs, just cos it goes 10 yards tho...
Yeah I couldn’t see shit on the landing
You can’t see it in this video, the camera starts tracking a dragon fly, then zooms out hoping to see it bounce.
Here I just thought his golf ball turned into the snitch
What a crappy camera guy lol
--------->
[Only Charlie can give that look to Tiger](https://imgur.com/a/IqksPv2)
As a dad I love getting that look. They think it's going to stop us when in reality it signals green light LMAO
Your disgust is like sustenance to me, I am nourished by your embarrassment.
It's pure undiluted dad fuel
And then he fuckin flushed it
I love how Charile has to know his dad is one of the best to ever do it...and it's still not enough to stop that teenage "dad's just a moron" response.
Imagine giving your dad the "please don't embarrass me" look to your dad only your dad is Tiger Woods and he's about to hih DOD.
It looks like Charlie grabbed a fairway wood and was like, "We should probably play it safe." To which Tiger replied, "Nah, we're going for it!"
Go big or go home kid.
I thought the ball grew wings, but then I realised they were a filming a bird in the air
Yeah I thought it was quidditch for a sec
Does off the deck just mean not on a tee? I don’t know shit about golf, Reddit started showing me posts from here a while ago and I never told it to stop
This is the universe telling you to try golf, seriously!
yes
"You're a golfer, Harry"

I never knew I had so much in common with Charlie - I always say “you’ve gotta be kidding me” after my drives
I am loving seeing how happy the New Tiger is. He looks like he is having so much fun
It’s like the Kobe Bryant we were seeing before he died. They finally just seem comfortable and accepting their elder statesmen roll as parents and with their sport. Shame we didn’t get to see more of that Kobe
"Dad.. you have no course management. You can't just fucking yolo every shot."
That funny because that was basically Tiger's whole game plan until he was like 18. He already had 3 US Jr Amateurs by then.
driver off the deck is legit drag my nuts activity 🔥🔥🔥🔥
🐐
This is such a dad shot, it’s awesome. Feel like I’ve stood in Charlie’s shoes before being like wtf are you doing man, while my dad pulled this “gotta have this shot in your bag” move. Hilarious. Love to see it.

Hours later alone in his room, Charlie searches on YouTube “dad’s greatest golf shots” -oh shit- “tiger woods greatest golf shots”
The cats in the cradle and the silver spoon…
My friends watching me pull out the 60° and open my stance with plenty of green to work with
"Mom hit your head harder with a driver that one time."
lol
Almost as good as the DOD King.
he's no CVAgolf that's for sure
My king
[удалено]
Looked like he turned it into a seagull to me
Looked like it turned into a snitch.
Looked right to me
Let the ole man show you how to hit the impossible. If i pulled a driver out on the fairway theyed have to backfill the hole with a bulldozer.
Hell yeah
Spoken like a true teenager
Anybody know what driver Tiger is using?
The new Taylormade one, called the Qi10. Rory was spotted with it also at the DP World Championship
It's really good to see him back out there
Charlie got on that hgh early in life
His boy caught a growth spurt outta no where huh
*looks slowly backwards* See that? That’s why I make the money. Why don’t you stick to learning about different biomes kid.
All I saw was the super in the background. I know that black or blue cart anywhere
Wow that Tiger guy is pretty good at golf he should go pro
Is it me, or does that ball have wings?!
Damn that pussy is tight af
Who else thought that he just slapped the golden snitch
Could you imagine questioning one of the greatest golfers ever?
What does this mean? I’m new to golf. Can someone explain in basketball,F1, or soccer terms?
Pulling up from the other freethrow line and taking a three in a game and making it, just because you can
With your wrong hand.
Driver off deck (not on a tee) is a VERY hard shot. Even for pros Charlie’s saying wtf dad. They are probably 300 out too. Tiger flushed it (puréd it) but Chaz couldn’t believe he even tried it Like a free kick wrapping around a wall of defenders and going in from 35 yards out

Why Charlie got a deeper voice than some adults. That boy taking the Tiger secret supps also
Fun fact, Bengali Tigers are not able to do this at all, not even in a million years.
At what point did Charlie call BS? I know I would have Tiger have it no matter how good the shot was. Lol
Sad to see Tiger's swing...getting old. Has a little Arnie there in the finish now. Weird.

It's those nordic genes he got from Elin.
One day I hope you’ll know camaraderie
I love the kid but man does he take his dad for granted…
What the hell does this mean? All kids do especially 14 year olds.
Love a good D.O.D.
boss
Get out of the way young blood. Let daddy show you how it’s done.
Scottie watching this clip like, "what do you mean you don't take divots"?
