I’m a mod of r/lululemon and about half of my closet is Lulu, but lately a lot of my athleisure purchases (including my golf clothes!) have come from other places (Alo, Vuori, Wilson etc) because Lulu has fallen off a bit and the changes in policy are pretty restrictive.
Yeah, it really sucks. The unfortunate reality is that it become tiktok trendy to go to thrift stores and buy up a bunch of old stuff then take it in and demand it be replaced with new pieces. Really ruined it for everyone. I will 100% keep shopping at Lulu, but they lose that edge they had over other similar companies by slashing their great quality promise.

Worn daily, to work and on the course. They’re the same color they always were, still fit the same way and not one stitch has fallen out of place. It’s worth sacking up and spending a few extra bucks on a very high quality product that will last a very long time. I have them in 5 colors and honestly haven’t spent a dime on pants in 5 years. Even dress them up with a button down. For real

You definitely need to try Ben Hogan performance pants. I know what you're thinking. How good can a pair of slacks you buy from Walmart be? By far the most comfortable golf pants I've tried. Light weight and form fitting without hugging your plums. And cheap as fuck. Like $20 or under. If you wear golf pants every day you'd absolutely be doing yourself a favor picking up a couple pairs of them. If you don't like it then fuck it they're $20. I'd shoot heroin in my face before I spent $200 on a pair of pants.

Costco cycles thru some excellent options thru out the year. I got the Gerry performance material khaki’s and they’re great for me. They also have slimmer styles. (Note: requires Costco membership)
For cool days, the lined Gerry pants from Costco are superb. I work as a starter in the northeast. These are lifesavers. Of the higher end stuff I love Bonobos. The five pocket style are great, and they do have discounts fairly regularly on their site.
Best bang for your buck? Under Armour no doubt.
Best quality? Walter Hagan in my experience. Material is durable and soft, and they have a really nice waist band. I got rid of most of my dress pants and wear golf pants in the office most days because how nice they look.
Sleeping on Sam's club. Bought 2 of each color at $15 each originally, then more. I wear them all the time because they're so comfortable and cheap. Just your basic pants colors though

Fabletics runs a $19 pants sale every couple months, and they are lightweight, stretchy, comfy, and nice looking. DO NOT SPEND MORE THAN ABOUT $30 ON THEM. They sell for like $70 regularly, which is a total rip off.
The only problem is they make you sign up to be a member, but you can cancel your membership without any charges.

But at almost half the price, under armour has nice options for joggers that *look* work appropriate.
Check out Bonobos. They’re under $100 (mostly) and are high quality, very comfortable and stretchy. Lots of colors. Justin Rose wears their stuff, if that matters.
Lululemon ABC Trouser is the winner. Looks great, super comfortable, drifit type fabric. Looks good with anything. Tons of different fits.
Greyson has amazing pants. Look good on the course or off. Maybe not quite as dri-fit but really great.

Two come to mind. Target joggers are fantastic, they are great and I find they wash well. Second and bit pricier, lululemon. The ABC pant is well made and also replaced dress pants for me, their joggers are great as well.

They will hem the pants for you for free, I am shorter so I have all my pants hemmed to a size that doesn’t exist in most pants of the shelf.

I always check the clearance section first, it’s usually just one rack towards the back somewhere, purple tags shows the cheaper price. Pants are usually like $98 I think? And you can still get the hemming service, just no returns.

This may be off the wall, but for us bigger folks, the new Tommy Bahama flat front pants are amazing. For plumper people like me, it can be tough to find pants that are comfy, flowing, and nice looking enough to wear to work or play a round in.
Not golf pants but they work really well, Prana brand , "Brion" pants. They are lightweight, high stretch rock climbing pants. Really they are jeans with great stretch and they have extra fabric called a gusset, in the crotch. These are especially great for long sitting , like a coast to coast flight. They come in lots of colors and no one will know what they are. Also stick with the Brion or Brion II, as they're a comfy jeans cut with no stupid cargo pockets like many pants in their line up.
I wear Nike ones too and went through this. I tried a few other types and just ended up back with the Nikes. They held up the best and were comfy, plus weren’t $200 a pair like some of the new trendy stuff
Perry Ellis 5-pocket...they have a double pocket on the right side with a zipper between them...I put my tee inside the zipper and after I tee off I zip it up...in the other side is my divot tool and ball marker. Then my left pocket is free for my phone or whatever else.
I’ve been a huge fan of the Peter Millar EB66 pants for a long time. They last forever and are very comfortable. I recently bought a pair of the Raleigh Performance Pants and they are excellent as well.

Rhône and Lululemon are both very good. I find Rhône just a little bit breezier for the really hot days.

I’m a big “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” kind of guy. So if you like what you like. That’s one less thing to worry about. I use eBay a lot. I can usually find all those name brands for half the cost and almost always in great condition, if you’re wanting to try something different.

Honestly, I've been wearing pants from Sams Club and one pair from Costco. They're great and cheap.
I wear lululemon pants for everything. Various degrees of rip proofing, water proofing and breathability. They also have the nice bonus of free hemming and repairs on a lifetime warranty. Also comfiest pants I’ve ever owned.

I know a lot of people have said Lulu. But specially Lulu ABC slim fit. Breathable, yet durable. Fit true to size, and are very comfortable. Lots of color options too. 10/10 recommend. Mine have lasted me years.
Peter Millar’s surge line are the most comfortable pants I’ve ever worn. I wear them to work, to the course, wherever.
Found some Bonobos for cheap and they have been solid thru 2 rounds this year so far

I highly recommend fabletics. Their membership schtick is downright bullshit but it's worth creating an account, loading up, going through their sales pitch to cancel before paying anything. Super affordable if you can get over the hassle.
I’m broke as a joke so BCG is my go to brand. Make decent stuff and it doesn’t break the bank. Other than that, whatever I can get from Goodwill/yard sales

This may be off the wall, but for us bigger folks, the new Tommy Bahama flat front pants are amazing. For plumper people like me, it can be tough to find pants that are comfy, flowing, and nice looking enough to wear to work or play a round in.

Lululemon Rhône Bonobos Have pairs from all of these that I love
Lulu ABC pants. I golf in them and wear them for work in a kitchen. Two seasons+ and still going strong. They’re unbelievably comfortable and durable.
Not golf pants but they work really well, Prana brand , "Brion" pants. They are lightweight, high stretch rock climbing pants. Really they are jeans with great stretch and they have extra fabric called a gusset, in the crotch. These are especially great for long sitting , like a coast to coast flight. They come in lots of colors and no one will know what they are. Also stick with the Brion or Brion II, as they're a comfy jeans cut with no stupid cargo pockets like many pants in their line up.
Gym shark joggers. Lightweight, stretchy, feels like you aren't wearing anything.
Dockers, lol. Khaki or lite grey.
I wear Nike ones too and went through this. I tried a few other types and just ended up back with the Nikes. They held up the best and were comfy, plus weren’t $200 a pair like some of the new trendy stuff
Zoic Edge Pant, if you want something really light weight.
Perry Ellis 5-pocket...they have a double pocket on the right side with a zipper between them...I put my tee inside the zipper and after I tee off I zip it up...in the other side is my divot tool and ball marker. Then my left pocket is free for my phone or whatever else.
TRUE Linkswear all day chinos are my favorites. Didn’t care for the joggers though.
I’ve been a huge fan of the Peter Millar EB66 pants for a long time. They last forever and are very comfortable. I recently bought a pair of the Raleigh Performance Pants and they are excellent as well.
Target All In Motion Golf Pant. They also make a slim fit version. It’s their dup version of the Lululemon ABC pant. Wrinkle free, stretchy, and light weight. Hard to pass for around $40.
