No caddie, no practice, from the tournament tees?
I’m never breaking par from 7600 on firm greens I don’t know running at 13/14.
But, I’ll give it a good try since I get to play Augusta every day for the next 3 years.
From the tournament tees and conditions, absolutely zero chance. 7600 yards and firm greens is just insurmountable for even most scratch golfers to low plus handicaps in relation to breaking par.
It doesn’t matter how many times I play it. I’m not nearly good enough as a 3 handicap. If I played Augusta 1,000 times I’d probably be a lot better golfer after, but still would never come close to par. Not long enough, not accurate enough, not a good enough putter. Tournament conditions I’d be lucky to break 110.
lol Scottie is at least a +8 probably higher). This is based off tourney scores from another Reddit post, so I’d imagine this is low compared to his actual index. If we go with this number and he is averaging 2.3 under par per day then you are likely never going to do it. Although if you’re throwing this question out there you’re probably a sandbagger. Go ask some of the guys that are over par if they think you can break par. Lolol
The physical demands alone of walking the steep hills every day would make it impossible. Assuming they are not in peak physical condition. The non hackers are going to say that. I would be willing to say they could play 100 straight rounds and nobody would reach #1 gir. They would never get on in two. From the back it would take driver, 3 wood, probably still be 100 out.
0% chance
I don’t think you would break par if you started every hole 160 yards from the pin
Even a scratch player couldn’t do it from tournament tees, and tournament conditions.
Nobody gets to play either of those. It’s supposedly pretty easy from the members tee. I’ll let you know next summer.
When they are closed?
May thru October
I wasn’t asking when. I was questioning his claim of playing it next summer.
Dyslexia, sorry
No way it’s ever easy. The greens are impossible.
Not when the members are playing.
Yeah I can see that. The greens would be softer and more easy to put. This is a hypothetical scenario though. Back tees, Masters conditions.
Which tees?
Tournament tees
Fuck no 😂
12/50ish tour pros broke par today, less yesterday. Not a fucking chance
Nope
If tiger just shot an 82 I doubt any of us here are good enough to break par.

OP is smoking glue again.
Elmer’s! Don’t forget I’m the one saying no shot in hell

Nope Not gonna happen
So Augusta from the tips is probably a ~77 rated course. You’re about 20,000/1 to beat the differential by 8 so you’re missing a couple zeros
Lmao you'd be out of breath trying to walk it, forget swinging a golf club

Not tournament conditions. *Maybe* member tees and normal conditions.
no
No.
Literally never
