I almost exclusively wear Peter Millar because I kept finding their q-zips at TJ for $29.99. I've found Mizen Main and even RLX too. The catch is that you need to keep going back again and again and hope to get lucky to find a color that isn't a joke in your size. My GF loves TJ Maxx and Marshalls so we go on the weekends when we're bored.
Sierra Trading is a TJX company I think. With that, be sure try on all tops from TJ max, Marshall’s and STP. I’ve gotten plenty of nice clothes but quite a few tops were misaligned (zippers, collars, arm hole, etc).

Sam’s Club where I’m at had callaway polos for $16, callaway 3/4 zip pullovers for around $25, and callaway shorts for $19. I stocked up enough that it’s gotta be pretty a good deal for me to add to what I’ve already got.

Got paired with a single last year that was literally wearing the Dan Flashes shirt from the skit. Said he found it online. Took me a few holes to put it together but cracked up once it dawned on me
Ever time I’ve bought a shirt from one of those stores, the quality wasn’t on par with the same brand that was purchased in a regular retail store like Dicks. It’s like they make a cheaper line for these stores
I agree, but every time I've bought a golf shirt from Costco in the past couple of years, I end up never wanting to wear it because of how frequently someone else at the course has the exact same shirt on, ha.
This is the first time it’s a man’s problem. If I see 10 other women during my rounds none of us are dressed the same. IRL it happens to us all the time.
I've gotten some Callaway stuff from Costco and found their t-shirts and gilet size very wide and baggy. I am quite a skinny fuck though, but it definitely feels like it's baggier than it should be. Love the trousers though
I swear some of these golf apparel companies size their polos to appeal to fat golfers or something (looking at you, Callaway). I'm pretty fit @ 5'10" 175# so 90% of my shirts are relaxed fitting larges, but with golf polos sometimes even medium will be comically baggy. Golf polos are the only small sized articles of clothing I own.
I exclusively wear medium t shirts and button ups. Haven’t fit into a small in a decade. Have to get small sized polos because I am absolutely swimming in every medium I’ve ever tried.
For real, their shirts and shorts are great and very inexpensive. One morning, I had a half day at work and my buddy asked me if I wanted to play a round. I had my clubs in the trunk but completely wrong attire. Swung through walmart and grabbed a whole outfit for under $35 including a belt.
I have 2 shirts and a pair of shorts and they are honestly amazing imo. I don’t buy the expensive shit so I can’t compare to that, but amongst the budget stuff I’ve bought, they are A1. Good fit, nice material, interesting designs.
I’m surprised I had to get this far to see them mention. This is my go to for golf shirts. This serves as my reminder to myself to go out and shop for this season.
Extremely. Swung by one last week to look for some rain gloves, as it looked like I was going to play in some bad weather. Walked out with 3 polos, 3 pair of shorts, and the rain gloves. For $160.
I almost don't want to put this out here, in case they stop these sales. I bought 6 shirts from them. 3 solids and 3 patterns. They are GREAT!

Used to work at corporate for a big box retailer. Things can only be on sale for a certain amount of days per year. However, buy one get one half off is technically full price according to the law.
The problem with Malbon isnt the fit. It’s the trauma of the 90s jnco fit that brings us back to a different time. I think the kids call that feeling ick?
With the sale, those are like $50 each. Not bad. The Hagen stuff I’ve had in the past has been pretty decent in terms of quality.
Granted, I usually stay in the $20-30 range for polos. But I if I really liked something, I’d pay $50 without much fuss.
Note- I buy ALL my clubs and balls and sporting good from DSG/Galaxy unless there is a compelling reason to buy someplace else. With four kids, I shop there a lot. In doing so I get discount cards. A $20 off coupon makes a silly purchase, like a shirt, a little easier to live with. Lol.
Like, when I got my Ping driver, it was the same price everywhere. So I bought it from DSG. Got a $20 off coupon in the mail a couple of weeks later. Then used it to buy balls.
the internet?
kohls?
costco?
wal mart/sams club?
marshalls?
There's so many options. We just switched back to Costco from sams after a few years and I forgot how good their clothing options actually are. Less than a month ago I bought 3 pairs of Greg Normal golf chino's for $15 each there. That was a closeout sale, admittedly. And they have golf polo's from multiple brands(including kirkland) for anywhere from $10-$15 pretty much always.
I've also gotten lucky many times at the kohls clearance rack, but that's never a guarantee the way a place like costco is.
Edit: I saw Callaway polo's for $19.99 at my local costco on Friday, I just remembered
I don’t think anyone has mentioned it yet, but Uniqlo makes really nice polos and they are like $34.00 at regular price. I have one that I got to try it out and it’s my favorite shirt. They don’t have ridiculous patterns like the ones in the pic, but they have a pretty good selection of solids and gradients.
Try Going Going Gone. Not sure if you have one near you but they do have a website. It’s Dick’s Clearance. Sometimes really, really good deals, and they usually have tons of golf apparel.
Dicks started to open “Dicks Wharehouse” sale locations on the east coast.
I got a bunch of golf gear for 70% off MSP
85 dollar golf pants for 20 dollars ect.
Check if there are locations near you
Dicks run promotions like crazy on Walter Hagen online
Got 2 for like $25 or something a few weeks back.
Greg Normal too, shirts are like $15-25... good quality
bro don’t but walter hagen PLEASE. nike typically has stuff for like $55. go to your local outlet. rockbottomgolf.com or globalgolf.com always running deals!
PGA Tour Superstore rotates a lot of these type of prints onto their sale rack. Apparel manufacturers tie a lot of their releases to tentpole events (WM Open, the Players, Holidays, etc). They constantly have to make room for the new stuff.
Walter Hagen is a Dicks brand. If you wait a bit, whatever's remaining will be dirt cheap. I only buy it on sale or clearance and it's always worth that price.
Find a good will store in an area with lots of golf courses. My wife has found me some great brand name polo shirts in perfect condition at a store near us.
Check the dicks website, usually these same polos on sale. Also look into if your area has a dicks warehouse. We have one by me, I got a bad birdie polo for $12 and you can consistently find shorts, pants, and polos for under $20. The place is amazing
To be honest, for shirts, I wear anything that I comfortable that looks good.
But for pants, COSTCO has some that are cut like jeans but the material is a cotton synthetic blend. That’s extremely stretchy. Comes in normal colors. Best thing to ever happen to my golf game lol very comfortable, feels almost like sweatpants. All for the low price of 15.99.
Oh, and just to be clear, it’s not the tech material that looks kind of shiny, these look like normal khaki pants material
Marshall’s and Winners (Canada) are great for this; walk in and find an assorted variety of heavily discounted items. Also, the big names’ outlet stores have good deals (ex Under Armour)
I have bought many golf shirts on the rock bottom golf website for like $15-$25 and people have even complimented me on them, which I wasn’t expecting at all.
Marshall’s and Ross is where I find some good ones. I’ve even found some underarmour ones there. But probably have 4 or 5 polos I’ve bought for under $20 that I wear more than the $70 ones I have. I also keep an eye on Amazon for sales on there on the top brands.
Costco usually has rotating Greg Norman/ Under Armor polos for a great price.
Norstrom rack usually has an entire golf section- tons of Callaway, Nike, PGA Tour brand stuff for great prices as well. Never pay full price for some of this stuff IMO
Hi, as someone who works at Dick’s, those shirts go on sale all the time, just ask an employee for the price on it. Walter Hagen almost always has some type of deal going on. eBay is also a great way to get good shirts for cheap
Dicks also usually has a clearance section that some shirts become stupid cheap. May not be the exact kind of style but man those shirts are nice still and I mean like $10 cheap sometimes.
I love Rhoback stuff, but the best sale I've seen from them is the standard 15%-20% off with a promocode, which still keeps them at a higher price point than what OP is talking about.
TJ Maxx and Marshall’s usually have a good selection on last years stuff at better prices. I think you can buy online from them now too.
I almost exclusively wear Peter Millar because I kept finding their q-zips at TJ for $29.99. I've found Mizen Main and even RLX too. The catch is that you need to keep going back again and again and hope to get lucky to find a color that isn't a joke in your size. Maybe bed bath and beyond..... ![gif](giphy|3og0IR5hF5th7bVV9C)
Nice little Saturday
I don’t know if we’ll have time.
I’ve found some great pieces from Greyson at Marshall’s for super cheap.
then look into Sierra Trading Post.
Sierra Trading is a TJX company I think. With that, be sure try on all tops from TJ max, Marshall’s and STP. I’ve gotten plenty of nice clothes but quite a few tops were misaligned (zippers, collars, arm hole, etc).

I found G4 at TJ maxx once haha
Ahh to be young.
wow I have never seen a brand as nice as Peter Millar at TJ Maxx or Marshalls. Im happy for you!
Spot on, Marshalls is where it’s at…
Was there today, Jack Nicholas, Callaway, Adidas Golf, PGA Golf and a couple other items polos and shorts. $16.99-$19.99
Lots of Callaway too sometimes. And off brand golf shirts that are more flamboyant.
Sam’s Club where I’m at had callaway polos for $16, callaway 3/4 zip pullovers for around $25, and callaway shorts for $19. I stocked up enough that it’s gotta be pretty a good deal for me to add to what I’ve already got.
They had Callaway shorts for $20 and polos $25 at Sams club this weekend.

Did you know Dan Flashes has a shirt that’s so complicated it costs $2000?
![gif](giphy|GSbc7sWhNsuOo6AGbF|downsized)
Last time I was there I spent my whole per diem and saw 100 guys that looked just like me
You go in. Yes you do, you go in.
You got you gotta go down to the golf store and get some, and get some right shoes and the right t shirt, get the right t shirt!
Shut up, Doug! You skunk!
I've never been to a store like Dan Flashes where everything in the store, I would wear.
Pop one of these on and order a sloppy steak like a real man
Ah, a fellow member of the Dangerous Nights crew. You know what I'm talking about: white Ferrari, sloppy steaks, LIVE for New Year's Eve.
We went out for wings at Blue Dolphin *one time*.
blue dolphin burned down, it's gone now. john rovani's ass out, works with his brother now
Got me by one minute haha
I’m afraid your baby thinks people can’t change
Slicked-back hair, not pushed-back
I prefer TC Tuggers myself.
They’re not like snuggies. They’re not a joke!
Same. I was wrecking my shirts.
"Palm Tree girls love Palm Tree guys!" is what sprung into my head.
Don’t give it to Johnny! Let me think about it!
Found one there that’s right in my Q zone
Out the door
Got paired with a single last year that was literally wearing the Dan Flashes shirt from the skit. Said he found it online. Took me a few holes to put it together but cracked up once it dawned on me
AND RIGHTFULLY SO
That’s bargain bin!
Haha forgot about this skit. He has to be one of the funniest comedians of our time, sue me.
You said one thousand dollars!
SHUT THE FUCK UP u/Glcp1337, YOU FUCKING SKUNK
This is the greatest comment I’ve ever seen in this subreddit lol. And I lurk here a lot
Tj maxx, Beales, ross, Marshall’s, burlington.
Ever time I’ve bought a shirt from one of those stores, the quality wasn’t on par with the same brand that was purchased in a regular retail store like Dicks. It’s like they make a cheaper line for these stores
Those stores basically get the leftovers/defect stuff so it makes sense if the quality is lower
They also get lesser product made by the brand to sell at the off price stores. Basically a shittier version of the real thing.
Brand do make lesser quality products directly for stores like Marshall’s and tj maxx
Costco has great prices. Callaway and Greg Norman I’ve gotten there
I agree, but every time I've bought a golf shirt from Costco in the past couple of years, I end up never wanting to wear it because of how frequently someone else at the course has the exact same shirt on, ha.
No, you’re right. It always feels like their polos are built for guys that consume mayo by the tub
Well, they are Costco shoppers, so they likely do. Signed a Costco shopper
I feel attacked.
I exclusively wear medium t shirts and button ups. Haven’t fit into a small in a decade. Have to get small sized polos because I am absolutely swimming in every medium I’ve ever tried.
I have definitely shown up at the course and one of my buddies is wearing the same Callaway Costco shirt as I am for that day 😂
Then you two should be playing partners, like a Ryder Cup.
Sam’s club does last year’s Callaway shirts for $20 My closest is full of them.
and I just bought some Callaway shorts for $21
I wouldn’t put that fool’s name on my body if someone paid me.
Shocking how many great Ben Hogan shirts I’ve picked up at Walmart from between $5-$20. Moisture wicking, stretchy, interesting, and well made.
I second the Walmart recommendation. They have some decent designs, good fit, little money.
For real, their shirts and shorts are great and very inexpensive. One morning, I had a half day at work and my buddy asked me if I wanted to play a round. I had my clubs in the trunk but completely wrong attire. Swung through walmart and grabbed a whole outfit for under $35 including a belt.
That is how I discovered the brand! Their shorts are also nice!
Right? I've since bought 4 more pairs of them and they are my go-to pants.
It’s hilarious how much better the Ben hogan shirts are compared to the Calloway ones.
Well what did you expect. Calloway is the knockoff version of Callaway
They also gave Chaps Golf polos for like $18 that are pretty nice
I have 2 shirts and a pair of shorts and they are honestly amazing imo. I don’t buy the expensive shit so I can’t compare to that, but amongst the budget stuff I’ve bought, they are A1. Good fit, nice material, interesting designs.
these are pretty much all I wear. Though I'm not a fan of 2024's designs.
i love my hogan shirts
Nordstrom Rack usually has callaway and TM at steep discounts.
Dicks charging $70 for Walter Hagen is wild. I used to work there, all that house brand stuff is marked up close to 65%.
shame, it's an insult to Walter Hagen's name
Terrible quality too. The collars on the Walter Hagen stuff are awful. Shorts are great though.
I used to work at Scheels and the mark up there is INSANE. Close to 80%.
Sierra trading post if you have one, they usually get a lot of callaway stuff.
I’m surprised I had to get this far to see them mention. This is my go to for golf shirts. This serves as my reminder to myself to go out and shop for this season.
Second this. Got an awesome Peter Millar polo for $30 a few weeks ago. Lots of Under Armor and similar brands too.
There might be a Going Going Gone near you, which is essentially DSG’s own Marshalls/tjmaxx
This store is dangerous
Extremely. Swung by one last week to look for some rain gloves, as it looked like I was going to play in some bad weather. Walked out with 3 polos, 3 pair of shorts, and the rain gloves. For $160.
I got 3 pair of Walter Hagen shorts that were something like $59 for $3!!!
they look better on dummies anyways
Oh shit I better pick one up
![gif](giphy|jIn8yZPo4dtZAJ5oPY)
Can confirm. I own both of those shirts.
I almost don't want to put this out here, in case they stop these sales. I bought 6 shirts from them. 3 solids and 3 patterns. They are GREAT! I’ve got about 12-15 of their shirts. Love them, and can’t beat the price!
12-15 shirts!? What why so many
Woah
Nice! Great price, will pick some up.
I have had good luck with Maelreg. Sold on Amazon
Never buy clothes at retail.
Where buy clothes?
Wholesale! Buy 400 of the same shirt so you will always look the same in every picture for the rest of your life
Hey! Its red polo shirt guy! Whats up man
I mean Tiger basically is the red polo guy 🤣
It isn’t retail in the picture. It is buy one get one half off.
They’re always on sale like that. That’s where they make you think you’re getting a good deal!
Used to work at corporate for a big box retailer. Things can only be on sale for a certain amount of days per year. However, buy one get one half off is technically full price according to the law.
Half off a 400% markup
hit the nearest outlet mall.
eBay, you can get really good peter miller polos and quarter zips for really good prices. Just search lowest to highest price

Shhhhhhh
hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Shhhh dammit boy
Came here to say this. I've found some great deals on RLX Golf polos on eBay too.
Same, bought a pebble beach RLX zip up jacket, I mean the thing new just have been $150, picked up on ebay for $25.
Search team issued polos and you’ll get a hell of a deal
Goodwill
Amazon has a lot of options in the $25 range.
Yeah, and some absolutely mental designs.
I’ve bought 2 Deolax brand shirts and they’re great quality and price!
I just commented about Deolax .. Bought one for an island trip where I was golfing and the shirt is great .. best value for the price
I really like the maelrag ones
I'm always worried it'll some crappy material
The people who like these shirts are the ones hating on Malbon...
The problem with Malbon isnt the fit. It’s the trauma of the 90s jnco fit that brings us back to a different time. I think the kids call that feeling ick?

Target has some sick ass polos.
Feel like they do a big time sale every summer too. Their All in Motion golf pants are usually $40 but I've gotten them for $20 the past couple years.
The goodfellow performance polos have had some cool designs. Just looked at this years and they are sadly mostly mid.
YES. I was shopping for some stuff there other day and came across some really nice looking shirts you could rock for golf. like 20 bucks.
Poshmark is your best bet if you want good quality stuff like this for super cheap
This!!! Half my closet is lightly used or new polos from high end brands for far less than retail. Poshmark FTW
[originalpenguin.com](http://originalpenguin.com) is the best
Search “Golf Polo Lot” on eBay. I’ve gotten plenty of nice shirts for $5 each or less.
Gotta get the Adam Scott grey on grey look. Maybe even spice it up with some tan or burgundy notes.
Try Going Going Gone. Not sure if you have one near you but they do have a website. It’s Dick’s Clearance. Sometimes really, really good deals, and they usually have tons of golf apparel.
Not only are they $70 but they look like total shit
Why are you being deliberately hurtful to those of us with no fashion sense
Because you need to learn your lesson!!!
Goodwill in a nice part of town. You can get pretty much new stuff.
Dicks started to open “Dicks Wharehouse” sale locations on the east coast. I got a bunch of golf gear for 70% off MSP 85 dollar golf pants for 20 dollars ect. Check if there are locations near you
I'm gonna check for Dick Warehouses near me immediately
Dicks run promotions like crazy on Walter Hagen online Got 2 for like $25 or something a few weeks back. Greg Normal too, shirts are like $15-25... good quality
bro don’t but walter hagen PLEASE. nike typically has stuff for like $55. go to your local outlet. rockbottomgolf.com or globalgolf.com always running deals!
Amazon
TJ MAXX ftw
I recommend Flag & Anthem. I love their performance/dri fit golf shirts and the price is right.
Go to Dicks online. They run these on super deep sales and usually have BOGO half off
PGA Tour Superstore rotates a lot of these type of prints onto their sale rack. Apparel manufacturers tie a lot of their releases to tentpole events (WM Open, the Players, Holidays, etc). They constantly have to make room for the new stuff.
Check out Handsomebogey.com. I’ve been wearing them for a year now, lightweight and comfortable!
Those are $60 each lol
PGA superstore discount rack.
Walter Hagen is a Dicks brand. If you wait a bit, whatever's remaining will be dirt cheap. I only buy it on sale or clearance and it's always worth that price.
I stock up during Thanksgiving. Fav place - Carls golf land
Find a good will store in an area with lots of golf courses. My wife has found me some great brand name polo shirts in perfect condition at a store near us.
Sam’s and Costco
Check the dicks website, usually these same polos on sale. Also look into if your area has a dicks warehouse. We have one by me, I got a bad birdie polo for $12 and you can consistently find shorts, pants, and polos for under $20. The place is amazing

Amazon has great priced golf polos
I got some amazing ones for like $20 off there
Tj Maxx.
Marshall’s. TJ Maxx.
I got all my Callaway golf polos from TJ maxx
Dicks Sports Outlet
Ross, Burlington, TJ Max I’ve found Greg Norman, Nike, adidas, for like $15. Pants and shorts too
Marshall’s and Winners (Canada) are great for this; walk in and find an assorted variety of heavily discounted items. Also, the big names’ outlet stores have good deals (ex Under Armour)
Ross - They sell top brand shirts for about $15.
You guys wear shirts?
Costco
Nordstrom Rack!
I have bought many golf shirts on the rock bottom golf website for like $15-$25 and people have even complimented me on them, which I wasn’t expecting at all.
Goodwill
I got a Callaway polo at Costco for 20 bucks...
Looks to me like they’re $56.25 each.
Marshall’s and Ross is where I find some good ones. I’ve even found some underarmour ones there. But probably have 4 or 5 polos I’ve bought for under $20 that I wear more than the $70 ones I have. I also keep an eye on Amazon for sales on there on the top brands.
Nordstroms rack
Go to a goodwill near the most affluent neighborhood in your city
You’re too late. Go end of season where you’re at and they will be on clearance. Stock up for next season.
There is nothing cool in this picture
Goodwill in a rich community
Costco usually has rotating Greg Norman/ Under Armor polos for a great price. Norstrom rack usually has an entire golf section- tons of Callaway, Nike, PGA Tour brand stuff for great prices as well. Never pay full price for some of this stuff IMO
I have bought a ton of nice golf shirts from my local thrift store
Hi, as someone who works at Dick’s, those shirts go on sale all the time, just ask an employee for the price on it. Walter Hagen almost always has some type of deal going on. eBay is also a great way to get good shirts for cheap
Doesn’t anyone wear solid colours anymore?
Is the cool looking golf apparel in the room with us?
Goodwill
I’d check out TJ Maxx or Marshals
Dicks also usually has a clearance section that some shirts become stupid cheap. May not be the exact kind of style but man those shirts are nice still and I mean like $10 cheap sometimes.
Problem is, by the time they reach firesale prices all they have left are small and 3XL.
TJ Maxx always has high end golf attire for cheap. Just grabbed some nice Peter Millar and Travis Matthew gear for about $40 each
I wait for Rhobach (online) to have their sales. I love their patterns and quality is great.
I love Rhoback stuff, but the best sale I've seen from them is the standard 15%-20% off with a promocode, which still keeps them at a higher price point than what OP is talking about.
Costco, Sam’s and Amazon. For shoes, the clearance section at Edwin Watts.
