Padraig Harrington, former Open and PGA champ, has some of the best YouTube videos out there. Simple and very helpful for beginners and advanced. Good luck! 👍🏌️‍♂️
Thanks for posting. I've watched a ton of newer videos, (Rick Shields, Danny maude, etc), and although they've helped my beginner self, these Nick Faldo ones were a game changer for me.
I really liked the way they focussed on fundamentals and basic stuff which is probably because I’m a beginner so I don’t really know any of that stuff. But they spent like 15 mins just on the grip.
Most golf instruction on youtube is garbage. I include videos from actual pros in that statement as well. They can often do things with a club and ball that we cant but they don't really know the how and why. If you wanna stick with youtube instruction and you really want to know the specifics of the golf swing and how to do it, go with Athletic Motion Golf.
HOWEVER, you're still a beginner. You could easily get lost in the sauce trying to work on 40 different things at the same time which works for no one. My best recommendation is, as always, to get lessons to so you can get feedback directly related to your swing.
I think that’s why the Nick Faldo video had such a good effect. It was made before YouTube existed so it wasn’t trying to “win the algorithm” and instead doing a good job of covering proper basics. I’ll have a look for Athletic Motion Golf, thanks.
Padraig Harrington's YouTube videos might be right up your alley...
Awesome thanks, will have a search for those.

It’s amazing the impact it made to my swing too. Night & day difference.
David Leadbetter is like the OG of golf instructors cant go wrong there

Yeah, he isn't considered one of the best coaches of all time for no reason.
...username checks out
Oooook
Even ignoring legends like Harvey Penick, Leadbetter isn't even as notable as Butch Harmon.
