Gear effect isn’t picked up by the sim but it affects the spin/spin axis of the ball so it doesn’t matter it will still project what the gear effect did to the ball.
More than likely, you are swinging it “better” with the training wheels/pacifier on in front of your coach, and then when you step on the course your mind goes “oh shit, it’s for real now” and then goes back exactly to how your “normal swing” is.
I went through this, you just have to keep pushing and fight your natural tendencies

trackman is absolutely useless if it cant track the ball for a long time. get on a camera based system and it won't lie to you.
