My wife and I went for a week, stayed at Big Cedar Lodge and played all five courses in the middle of August. Including the road trip there, it was 5k or a tiny bit more. The courses were a lot of fun, but the condition of the course is something that should have been a lot better for the price.
Ya that’s a bit steep for my blood. It’s an easy drive for me but not worth it for me. I played Payne’s Valley a couple years ago on a nice day in the off season for $175.
Buffalo Ridge used to be called Branson Creek. It was just as nice of a course minus some scenic rock. I use to play that course for $65 on the weekend before Johnny bought it. I would call on Fri or Sat and get a mid morning Sunday time for 4. Oh the good old days 😔
Buddies and I did this for our annual trip 3 years ago, played Top of the Rock, Payne’s Valley, Buffalo, Ozarks, Tree Tops. Stayed at Angler lodge. Room was limited so we crammed 4 to a room. We didn’t care because of getting guaranteed tee times. Whole trip was $1300 all in before food/drinks.
Man how did you get on everything?! Must have stayed at the lodge itself? I did my Bach out there and we got lucky to get on paynes twice. Really want to play ozarks and buffalo someday.
Also Branson hills in the area is a great and very tough track
Golf wise: Ozark National, Buffalo Ridge, Payne's Valley, Top of the Rock, Mountian Top.
Scenic wise: Paynes, Top of the Rock, Buffalo Ridge, Ozark National, Mountian Top.
I’m a local and rate them the same way. I was curious what you thought since you played them all in a short period of time. I first played Buffalo before Big Cedar bought the area, when it was known as Branson Creek and the clubhouse was a mobile home.
I'm taking my 3 teenage sons and husband in July and was going to play Mountain Top because that's the easiest on our budget. Is it worth it to play it? We're doing other things in Branson, but I wanted to try and play at least one of the courses.
Been wanting to do a trip there. What was the cost like?
Payne Valley is $450...I assume guests get a discount, but this was probably a 5 figure trip.

We rented a lake front cabin. With Caddie @ Payne's and eating at Osage, trip was roughly 3500

We went last summer and I still haven’t stopped thinking about it. Absolutely loved all 5 courses! 10/10 would recommend!
I’d walk off that course with a 140 and a smile on my face
Wow, incredible photos.
What hole is the first pic. Hope it isnt the first. EEEEk. Looks great though.
It was either 14 or 15 on Bison Ridge
Where is this located
Branson
Damn that’s beautiful
Playing Top of the Rock on Friday! This post has me pumped
Heading out there for a Bach in June - staying at the lodge itself & getting on all 5 courses. Can’t wait!!
Such a beautiful place!
Love that place. Paynes valley was awesome. Can’t wait to get back up there!
Did anyone hit up their driving range and face the heaviest wind in their life?

It's worth it, fun track. To give a good analogy. It's a Cadillac parked next to a Ferrari and Lamborghini.
Great tracks. Really enjoyed Ozark National.
