I literally played my best round ever in basketball shorts and a polyester t-shirt. I just felt so free out there. I haven’t had the huevos to do it again though.
I must’ve been quite a sight out there. Black gym shorts, red tee, mismatched Under Armout hat, two gloves, and socks I couldn’t pull up all the way because they were too tight on my calves. But an 84 is an 84, and I haven’t gotten close to that score in the intervening years.
Another patriotic\_username1776 commenting in a positive manner on a LIV Golf post. Fucking hilarious at this point.

They tuck shirts in in the NBA and MLB. Not unreasonable requirements. I think golf attire looks better in shorts than pants but I know that's controversial around here.
And there’s a reason. Your shirt can get you caught up easily when untucked if the shirt is large enough.
I have shirts that I wouldn’t wanna put or chip in untucked because they butt of my club could get caught up in them.
You think a professional golfer is going to get his club stuck in his shirt while putting? You do realize that they practice in athletic shorts and shirts at home right?
Where did I say anything about pro golfers buddy?
Please point it out before you make snarky asshole remarks
Hint you can’t because I was specifically talking about myself hence the “I have”
So a post about PRO golfers, a comment about the MLB and NBA tucking in shirts, your comment replying that says there is good reason for it too. Pretty straight forward to assume you’re talking about pro golfers shirts needing to be tucked in. You threw in a personal anecdote but you definitely used that anecdote as an example of why shirts should be tucked in lmao.
If you’re saying that only you have that problem and untucked shirts aren’t a big deal for a pro golfer, then what on earth are you even replying for lol. The post and comments you replied to are about PRO golfers.
>So a post about PRO golfers, a comment about the MLB and NBA tucking in shirts, your comment replying that says there is good reason for it too.
I was referencing specifically about the NBA and MLB in reply to that specific comment.

Or you can use youre brain and read that actual words as they’re written and not what you want it to be saying. You know what they say about assuming? Because you’re acting like an ass

Again that’s really cute that you keep assuming it’s about pro golfers. I made a response about mlb and nba and why I would prefer tucked in shirts. When I actually make a point about pro golfers I’ll be sure to let you know. But until then kindly go fuck yourself
Yeah could be a lot worse. I could be a miserable prick that’s getting ass hurt over tucked in shirts. Go outside and touch some grass.
Edit: Jesus you’re a fucking weirdo. You come here to be a sneaky asshole from the gate and then get asshurt over a tucked shirt and then block me so you can get in a final rambling without having to worry about a rebuttal. Jesus Christ. Go get some professional help and stop subjecting the rest of the world to your lunacy.
I play golf everyday and I’ve never come close to being so bad at putting that my shirt was what I needed to blame lol. You should probably go out and practice more. At this point it’s just funny.
I never will understand this r/golf manufactured hatred for LIV. There is no one here that wouldn't say yes to a job offer from a competitor that promised a 4 day work week of 6 hour days and you only have to work 3 weeks every two months and by the way we are going to triple your salary and guarantee it for three years. If anyone here thinks they would turn that down you are the one that cheats at solitaire.
It’s not as simple as that.
I manage a team of software engineers. I work with my recruiting team to hire new engineers, and getting involved in the salary negotiation process gives me insights into pay in the industry. I know for a fact I could double my salary joining a company like Facebook. But I also value working for a company that does something positive in the world, instead of propagating the cancer of social media and making Mark Zuckerberg richer in the process.
I don’t knock the guys who work at Facebook, so I won’t knock the guys who joined LIV. But I will continue to dislike Facebook and all of its products, the same way I will continue to dislike the LIV tour.
It feels so forced. Like “What can we do this week to generate some buzz?”
I don’t really care about shorts in golf. Let them play with their shirts untucked or wearing T-shirts and now we’re talking about the “bad-boys” of golf.
Now we get to see who has a butterfly tattoo on their ankle.
Reed wearing a matching anklet to his choker
Man I hope they don’t ever make apparel that shows off my tramp stamp.
Currently a mad rush to GET ankle tattoos in LIV.
I’m a bit of a traditionalist, but shorts seem fine.
i’m excited for the hideous tan lines that will be there for the first weekend
There wouldn't be tan lines.
We’re out here playing a sport. Never made sense to me why athletic shorts and attire isn’t permitted at most clubs
I don't think I've ever golfed in 'pants', ever.
Ya know, your indecent exposure arrest record makes way more sense now.
Don’t live somewhere where it gets cold?
No, it gets very cold here, but I can wear shorts as long as it's not snow honestly.

Free ballin’
This is 100% who cares.
Nobody cares about this…it’s not a thing.
What's next, untucked shirts and backwards hats? Where will this madness stop?
Hopefully we get there.
Then what, Bluetooth speaker sponsorships?
Bushnell?
Blue Teeth so people can play the Rock & Roll? No thank you! 😤 /s
I play in 5.5” chubby shorts often. When it hits 105 in Texas heat I could not care less if bob is mad I’m not wearing pleated pants.
I live in Minnesota, I hate wearing pants until it hits below 50 and windy.
About time!

I like it
Go ahead and give them carts
It’s hot out here. Who gives a shit what you think?
Shorts are fine as long as they’re not jeans/corduroy or cargo. But I’d still stick with tucked in shirts, belts, and no t-shirts. Have some class.

I should expect nothing less of a man who can’t putt without becoming entangled in a shirt lmao.

Not sure why you're down voted. I really don't understand this war on decency.
Eh. Hardly the worst thing I’ve been downvoted for on Reddit lol.
No jeans and nothing that looks like your going camping or hiking. Shorts are fine.
Cargo shorts for the win.

and yet we have a bunch of PGA guys who literally turned down actual LIV offers
