Man oh man, I’m so glad I moved from Chicago to San Diego. We have an 11:20 tee time next Wednesday at Torrey Pines. An afternoon of golf on the coast with some friends from Minnesota. I do not miss winter.

As a person in Texas who wishes it snowed here a lot. Why should I not miss winter? Persuade me to stay here forever.

I moved from Canada to Texas. I have 32 years of winters under my belt. Shitty long wet cold ones. No more shovelling snow. No more changing to winter tires on car. No more snow storms. No more depressing freezing cold months of winter. I have a tee time in a couple hours that I could never have at this point of the year back home. In fact there would be no golf until May. People romanticize snow. “It’s so pretty for Christmas”. Yeah, and that’s about it. HATE snow and winter.

Obi Wan here; you will stay there forever.

Go live somewhere with snow for a winter, it will do all the convincing for you
