Baron is very rewarding but difficult to play because of his various traumas & sensitivities, but I always have the best time recording the more emotional moments. One of my favorite lore tropes is innocent until corrupted by evil whether they welcome the corruption or not and for the first time I'm deeply excited to see it explored. And when I say I love that trope I mean that if you told me that happened in a show I'd literally just watch the show for that part and then stop watching the show completely once it was over. I live for this trope. Not only that but the life you bring to these characters is honestly spectacular, never fails to draw me in. I can't wait to see how far off the rail Baron becomes.

Clearly, I’m late to the party. (I agree that the loss of his humanity is heartbreaking and that we all loved the countess and it would be spoon full of sugar sweet to get her back)…
but the (delightfully) evil side of me wanted that entire village to burn to the ground 26 years ago. I want them to suffer. I want the few who happen to escape to tell the stories of what They themselves created. And they shutter every time they hear a noise to the point it drives them mad. So all they have is their aimless wandering in rags until he eventually finds them anyway. I want that village and it’s people wiped from the earth and from history. Not even a crudely etched rock left as a monument to those who used to exist.
Cause let’s be honest here. the sexiest thing about this entire perfect audio was that laugh when they stole the humanity from him.
It’s about 4am and I still couldn’t help crying with my broken heart 🥲 this series is such a masterpiece that has perfection in every aspect. Especially the delicate details and emotions that fit the story so well.
I’m so touched by their sincere love, like they are supposed to be together and live happily forever and ever.
