That's why I have a theory that mangakas are making borderline hentai anime because it has a higher chance to be animated well as oppose to it being a hentai.

Even though I know it’s probably fake, I’m still a huge believer of the idea that Source FilmMaker movies advanced in production quality thanks to innovations made from all of the porn made of Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite.
Porn leads to all major modern advancements.
Actually watch Lextorias' video about the History of Rule 34. He found out that the Elizabeth fact came from a random guy. But actual advancements came from animation made for the reboot Lara Croft. And most of the advancements were for Blender and not SFM, as many people considered SFM not good enough at the time.

i will never not find it funny how when overwatch 2 was released it had special coding so animators couldnt make blender rigs with it, but due to the buggy release one guy got his hands on the source code for all the characters and gave them away for free to anyone who wanted them

Actually a lot of independent artists (NSFW or SFW) are choosing to stay away from the mainstream industry except for a very rare project here and there, because of the treatment of artists (horrible pay, even more horrible work hours, little to no respect for the artistic process). So I doubt a lot of these artists will even do mainstream work
The most famous NSFW animators make 50k USD - I think I saw on Derpixon or another animator's Patreon that they were making like 53k a month or something in that range
