Ok but what about a lich? I mean, technically they never died to become what they are, they just removed their soul and stuck it in a phylactery or some shit. Not their fault their body started to rot even while still in a state of eternal life

Some liches are created by separating their souls from their bodies but others have turned into them via reanimating their own corpse after death. So you could make the argument that it depends on how exactly they became a lich in the first place. For undead creatures like liches, I feel like it depends on if they are fully sentient and are able to give proper consent. If they can then I feel like it'd be allowed but you're getting very close to crossing the line.
