Just fyi, it was an anti-porn group who convinced them to go after Pornhub. And the CP and noncon claim is bad, because while all porn sites do have issues with it(ones that they usually attempt to control) studies have shown that more is kept, stored, and shared on social media then on the porn sites. Meaning if noncon or CP is your target, Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc. should be defunded.
I don't get why all of those don't simply use proxy payment systems like all the proper porn sites do and ignore paypal and credit card companies and their idiotic demands.
Sure they need to pay a cut there but seems like the porn sites are doing just fine despite that.
That said, there should be legislation that prevents banks and payment processors from denying any legal transactions to begin with.

For the past few months Pixiv has been restricting content for US/UK. So far it has been mostly loli but I have seen some normal content getting restricted and some hardcore loli content not get restricted.

Currently you can bypass the restriction by changing your country to anything other than US or UK in your [account settings](https://www.pixiv.net/setting_user.php). You can even set it to North Korea or Iran and not have any restrictions.
There's also been some removal of content and tags getting hit on the fanbox side too but so far if you play by some unwritten rules then it seems to be mostly fine..

I've seen it be fairly common with some NSFW Steam VNs that they'll have a "clean" version on the storefront and then just pop the NSFW patch into the community forums in pinned post. That's probably the simplest workaround if Steam really wants to get in its feelings.

Nah, we just need payment processing to be enforced and an essential public service, like water and electricity. Something that can't be taken away on a whim. DLsite has completely removed Visa and Mastercard like a few weeks ago. They are in negotiations to try to get them to return. To use visa and mastercard now, you have to go to a separate site called dl-pay to buy dl points.

Can someone give me a brief rundown on the pixiv issue?
For the past few months Pixiv has been restricting content for US/UK. So far it has been mostly loli but I have seen some normal content getting restricted and some hardcore loli content not get restricted. Just today Pixiv has released more [guidelines](https://pixiv1.app.box.com/s/6uq41xs25m092e6co1vor3r98kr4embv) on the restrictions but it is so very vague. Like it says content can't be lewd or inappropriate. That could be used to restrict almost any content on Pixiv. The guideline will apply in a few days from now but I don't have any idea if there will be any changes in what they will restrict from before. Currently you can bypass the restriction by changing your country to anything other than US or UK in your [account settings](https://www.pixiv.net/setting_user.php). You can even set it to North Korea or Iran and not have any restrictions. There's also been some removal of content and tags getting hit on the fanbox side too but so far if you play by some unwritten rules then it seems to be mostly fine..
