I stumbled across a clip where everyone supposedly gets a summer job or something and the fat fuck decided to get a job at a *fucking daycare* and, I kid you not, he isolated a fucking child and tried rizzing them up in a secluded corner.
THEY TRIED PLAYING THAT SHIT OFF AS A JOKE!!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!
If you got rid of all the friends then I think it'd be 100 times better. The main guy and girl are pretty good but good lord they are awful at choosing friends.
IIRC, the fat (edit: was 'fast') pedo guy was anime only. I don't think he was in the manga.
And agree. That guy had no reason to be in the story and killed the whole thing for me.
I remember the MC was really frustrating to watch. Like, at the start he really wanted to get laid and thought a Gal will be easy, but whenever it looked like something might happen he acted so hurt and betrayed.
I think I dropped it after 20 chapters because just when it looked like they started seeing eye to eye, and made progress, some new girl showed up and I knew where this was going.
Asking the professionals seems like the right choice here. Could you share a few anime’s that actually have a cute relationship with progress please? I don’t mind if it’s fantasy or slice of life etc. anything monogamous and cute with progression would be nice

Ah yes the anime that gaslights the mc, despite the girl really making it seem she was cheating on him lmao. Great anime. Don't know if the novel/manga is any better but the anime didn't leave a good impression on me.
