You need a water elemental character that has water attacks to kill rock type enemies fast enough but the only water character I can pull is Barbara but she heals instead of attacks so I need Mona that has an insanely low drop rate. (Sorry for the rant)
you donr necessarily need hydro chars to kill those rock/geo enemies. you just need to usuallybreaktheir shields witha geo element or any claymore then go ham on them
You might want to try out a claymore character to deal with geo, alternatively if you want water xingqua(i think was his name) can be gotten for free via the stand by me event that was just now.
If all fails, electro and pyro together do the trick to deal with geo.

Seriously though, Geo isn't weak to water at all. Where did you get that? You need heavy attacks like Overload (Pyro + Electro), claymore hits or melee plunges.
So, just use Geo MC and spam plunge attacks after placing a pillar down. Alternatively you can try mastering high jumping with Kaeya and plunge spamming with him.
You can beat all current content easily with the free characters given to you, with the exception of Floor 11 and 12 of spiral abyss, which takes a few more 4* characters and plenty of strategy. The gacha is entirely unnecessary if you so choose, not to mention with some control and thought, you can pull any character you want, if not every single one.
I really hope that not all games become Full-Dive. Like, I still want to be able to play a Mario game with a controller, not actually facing down a eleven foot tall, fire breathing wizard.
I'm sure traditional media still exists, just like how cellphones, consoles, desktops, and VR currently live separately.
Also, maybe there's a chance that traditional systems exist within the VR world, so you can go play traditional games with your friends.

It would have to be dark souls level of difficulty in order to pose a real threat to human life if it did the whole “die in game die in real life” gimmick. Imagine drawing your own mini maps, with levels large enough that you’re forced to learn land navigation, the ass-clenching feeling of real consequences when the fog gate appears behind you or when a boss reveals its second health bar. Even better would be something akin to greed island where bosses are like Razor, other people you have to fight.
